Ninja Clash In The Land Of Snow 3

Normal POV

The cars, in which the movie staff and Team Seven rode in, came to abrupt stops. They had crossed through the cave and stopped at the very end of it. It was dark inside the car Sakura rode in, as no light came in through the window. She could tell of the change as soon as a snowy mountain came into view.

Sakura stood and glanced over to Inner. She in turn nodded her acknowledgment to her part of the plan. With that response, Sakura made her way outside of the car and looked around for the others. She needed to get away for a while and wait for someone to go inside the car and find Koyuki gone.

Sakura walked over to the entrance of the cave and looked inside. The darkness inside made it hard to make anything out. Her gaze shifted downwards and she crouched down. Lightly, she placed her hand on the ground and poured chakra deep inside. Her fingers turned cold before her chakra even reached the tracks.

'There covered pretty deeply.' Sakura thought to herself in amazement.

"D-Director! W-We have a problem! Koyuki has gone missing!" A staff member exclaimed as he came running towards him. Sakura turned towards them and looked over to Kakashi. With a tilt of her head towards the cave's direction, he nodded and turned to the others. She watched on as he talked to them before they split up using the Body Flicker Technique.

'Inner come help me.' Sakura thought as she turned her back to the cave entrance and towards the Director.

"I'll be staying here incase anything happens like last time. The others are more than enough to look for Koyuki-san." Sakura informed as she looked at Inner appear beside her. The staff members looked on in awe at the complete replica of her.

"Alright then." The director said and Sakura wasted no time to nod her head and moved up towards the mountain, Inner right behind her.

'Here, take these and hid them within the snow. Don't hid any further up then we're at.' Sakura said as she pulled out a bag with explosive pink and purple tags. Inner grinned as she looked down at them.

'Before you ask, yeah they are the same like the ones Sakura uses in the movie. I found them useful and so made some of my own. When I give the signal, set off the seals to ignite them.' Sakura said as she took her own bundle of tags.

With a salute and a grin, Inner started moving down the mountain with chakra enhanced feet. They didn't need to set off an avalanche just yet, so chakra enhanced feet assured them of that not happening.

Sakura handled the top, so she would know how far up the tags inside the snow were hidden. She made sure to place them in a position where the train that would soon get here, would get the most damage. She wouldn't allow those fifty soldiers to die here. With rapid, trained hand signs and with a touch of her hand on the snow, a bright Fūinjutsu character appeared. A few seconds later the character for barrier soon disappeared.

'It may be a pain to keep up this kind of low level seal but it'll get the job done.' Sakura thought as she looked around the area in order to remember the location of the hidden tags. She looked over to the landscape from her position and found it to be a rather breath taking view. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the cool air gusting through her hair and cloak. She was glad that her sight returned, so she could enjoy nature and all of its aspects.

"Done!" Inner informed. Sakura looked over at her. She had done a good job with the tasks she's been given, but Sakura wasn't surprised. Inner was more than capable of keeping up with her duties.

'I'm done as well. All we have to do now is wait and get into position.' Sakura said, while she jumped down towards the others. Her pale yellow cloak fluttering around her, and causing her to shiver when the cold air managed to get through.

"I assume, you left Koyuki up to Naruto?" Sakura asked as she sensed Haku, Sasuke, and Zabuza appear behind her. She had only just seconds landed before they had arrived. They were getting much better at suppressing their chakra.

"Hn, what have you been up to?" Zabuza asked. Sakura shrugged and looked around when she felt the unknown chakra spike.

"Hmm, just setting up precautions." Sakura absent-mindedly stated as she kept her gaze towards the cave.

"How much longer do you think we'll have to wait?" The director's assistant asked.

"Not much longer. Naruto and Koyuki-san should be on their way." Sakura responded as she walked over to the cave and pulled Inner forcefully away from the group.

'He's almost here, so stop your staring and focus.' Sakura said with a shake of her head. Inner groaned but did as instructed.

"Fine, but it's so not fair. You never let me get so close to them when I'm outside!" Inner whined as she crossed her arms.

'Because I have no idea what you would do if you got too close.' Sakura responded, staring at her when they arrived at the entrance. Inner sported a pout and a sour expression.

"Well, at least let me stare." Inner mumbled and Sakura sighed at her never changing attitude.

'Whatever, just get into position.' Sakura said with a point of her finger behind the staff.

"There's a huge amount of chakra fast approaching." Inner informed her before leaving which Sakura nodded to.

'I can sense it. As well as Naruto's and Koyuki's.' Sakura replied. Inner took one last glance inside the cave before flickering behind the staff. She made it a point at having Team Seven in her direct line of sight.

After a few more second's of waiting, the snow covering the railroad track melted.

"What is that?!" The director exclaimed as they all looked over to the tracks. Sandayū gasped and ran over to the track, quickly realizing that chakra was melting the snow.

"...It must be him!..." Sandayū mumbled in worry as he stood from his kneeled position beside the tracks and ran up the mountain. He looked over his shoulder to all the staff.

"Everyone! You must leave, it's not safe here! He can't find you!" Sandayū shouted as he continued on with his running up the mountain.

"Sandayū?!" Some of the staff called out towards the running man.

"Where are you going?!" The director cried out. Sakura turned her head towards the others.

"Sandayū-san is right. You must at least get away from the track." She said only to find no one moving. She opened her mouth to speak up, but the sound of a train whistle interrupted her. Sakura turned her back to the others and focused on the cave, where the train was sounding closer by the second.

As soon as the first color of yellow and orange appeared from all the darkness, Sakura moved. She caught both Naruto and Koyuki under her arms as they fell off the side of the cave entrance. Not even a second later, did a train appear from the cave and stopped further away on the tracks.

"You two okay?" Sakura asked as she set them down on the snow gently. She took Naruto's tired grin as an okay, and performed a quick chakra scan on them.

"We...did it!" Out of breath, Naruto exclaimed with satisfaction, as he sprawled his limbs on the cold ground. Sakura smiled down to Naruto and looked over to Koyuki's thoughtful expression. It was promptly ruined when a loud intercom voice was heard from the train's direction.

"It's been ten years, Koyuki."

"I knew it...it's Dotō..." Koyuki breathed out. Naruto stood from the ground and stood in-between Koyuki and Dotō's line of sight. Silence overcame the area as the stare-off between Naruto and Dotō was interrupted by the logs sliding down the mountain. They rammed into the side of the train, with a loud bang. It lifted up the snow in puffs of white clouds, opaque enough to hid the explosive tags.

Everyone turned their gaze up to the top of the mountain. A line of men with armor and weapons stood their ground before Dotō.

"Is that okay Kazumi? What about the explosive tags we scattered around?" Inner asked from behind the staff that she had lead away from the train.

'Yeah, the barrier will protect them. And it doesn't matter where the tags go as long as we activate the ones near the train.' Sakura replied. She had things planned for their safety since the start.

"There you have it men! Our beloved Princess Koyuki is here to watch over us! With her on our side, victory is ours!" Sandayū cried out with a raise of his fist. Determination and confidence radiated off of him in waves towards his companions.

"Sandayū?" Koyuki mumbled in shock from the ground. Sandayū unsheathed his katana and held it out towards Dotō.

"Hear me Dotō! We've waited a long time for this day of reckoning to come! Sandayū Asama and fifty loyal soldiers, stand before you to avenge our great fallen leader lord Sōsetsu! On this day you will breathe no more!" Sandayū shouted out. The soldiers all cried out simultaneous in perfect agreement.

"Hn, I thought you destroyed the last of the insurgents." Dotō stated down to the leader of the rogue ninja.

"My apologize. We'll get rid of them immediately." Nadare replied with a tilt of his head towards Sandayū. Sakura narrowed her eyes and lifted her hand in a single hand sign.

The last of Dotō's conversation with the ninja was unheard. Her concentration was on the Fūinjutsu barrier she had placed near the soldiers. With a loud shout from the soldiers, they all charged together down the mountain towards Dotō.

"Kazumi, they've opened up the side doors of the train." Inner informed as she stood behind the hidden director and his crew. Inner had earlier roll her eyes at the courage this director possessed in filming such a dangerous scene up close.

'I know. I'm setting up a barrier.' Sakura responded as she continued to stretch her chakra over towards the seal. With the distinct sound of shooting a barrage of kunai, Sakura knew she only had a split second before the kunai hit. Releasing the chakra faster, allowed it to reach just in time before the first set of kunai hit the first line of soldiers.

Activating the seal had caused a bright green line to stretch out parallel to the soldiers and extend upwards. A light, transparent green wall set in between the soldiers and the train. Kunai hit the green barrier which ended in deflecting back to the snow covered ground. They bounced away from the wall, which resisted the artillery bombardment.

"Whoa! What is that?!" Naruto exclaimed. He looked over to Sakura in an attempt at getting some answers, but saw her eyes closed and hand up in a hand seal.

"Sakura-chan? Are you doing that?" Naruto asked. Sakura cracked open one eye and smiled at him in hopes that he would understand that she was indeed the one doing the barrier.

'This is the downside of this barrier. The caster has to be completely focused in having a steady, constant movement of chakra throughout the barrier's length and height. That's what makes it great even as a low ranked Fūinjutsu.' Sakura thought as she refocused on the seal. The sounds of gasps and whispering causing her to slip a few times, but overall the wall stayed strong.

"Sakura, keep that up. We'll take care of the train." Sasuke said as they approached her.

"No need. I've already taken care of that too. You just get ready to fight the rogue-nin if they attack." Sakura stated quickly.

'Now Inner.' Sakura commanded as she heard the kunai guns stop their assault once they noticed their futile attempts.

"Alright! Here goes!" Inner exclaimed with a grin as she concentrated her chakra over to the seals of the explosive tags. The character on the tags glowed a white light before detonating. Everyone could see them now that they glowed, which made the snow sparkle as if sun rays had hit those spots directly.

Blast of snow were set off in many places which caused an avalanche to hurry its way down to the train. The beauty of the moment gone in seconds.

The snow rammed into the side of the train with force and grounded it in place. All the opened sides which shot out the kunai were buried deep in snow. The train struggled to move on the train tracks, weighed down because of the extra pounds of snow now on it. With a bit of effort, it managed to move forward towards the bridge. It only managed to get the first half of itself across the bridge before it collapsed under an explosion.

'Good thing Kakashi still had the same idea.' Sakura thought as she began to let the barrier down. She walked over to Koyuki and kneeled.

'She looks fine.' Sakura thought as she stood and looked over to Inner.

'Get ready to follow them when she get's caught.' Sakura reminded Inner. She in turn nodded and lifted a thumb's up as she walked towards the edge of the mountain to jump on the airship.

"Good thinking Sakura." Kakashi stated as he Body Flickered over to them.

Sakura merely nodded her head in acknowledgment.

"Princess Koyuki! We're all immensely glad that you are safe. Kakashi-san, I would like to thank you and your team for helping us back there. If you hadn't prepared that barrier, we would of all died." Sandayū said with a bow in their direction. His soldier companions doing the same in gratitude.

"Don't mention it. You hired us to protect you and we are doing just that." Kakashi stated with a crinkle of his eye.

"We wouldn't have needed your help if we hadn't of returned here!" Koyuki stated as she stood and crossed her arms.

"Let's go back. If you stay here, your lives will be in jeopardy." Koyuki said as she turned her back to everyone.

"Go back where? I thought this was your home! Wasn't it?! What the heck do you need to go back to?! Go face Dotō and put your home in order!" Naruto shouted. His anger rising by the second as he continued to stare at Koyuki's impassive expression.

"You know absolutely nothing! I've had enough of this nonsense." Koyuki said and began to walk away.

"Hold on a minute!" Naruto exclaimed as he ran after her. Sakura sighed at Koyuki's attitude and turned to walk towards the others. There was still the off chance that they could get hurt.

"Leave me alone already!" Koyuki shouted as she pulled away from Naruto's grip.

With an angry scowl, Naruto was about to shout right back at her, but focused his attention elsewhere. Behind Koyuki, a huge airship rose from down below the mountain. It's propellers shifted the wind's direction around it and threw gusts of wind towards them. Their hair and clothing fluttered wildly with its harsh movements.

'Inner get ready.' Sakura instructed as she held her arm over her face to shield herself from the turbulent winds.

"No worries! I'm already on it!" Inner replied as she stealthily moved closer towards the huge blimp.

"You all need to move away!" Sakura instructed as she looked around to make sure everyone was moving away to a safe distance.

"Augh!" Koyuki shouted from up in front.

Mizore, was immediately spotted at the doorway of the airship. He had shot out his arm to capture Koyuki. The other rogue, Fubuki, flew over and threw a couple of kunai with the ice bombs attached to them.

"Don't let the others get hurt." Sakura called out to Kakashi as she jumped on the back of an un-suspecting Sasuke. He grunted in annoyance as she used him as a spring to jump up towards the falling kunai above them.

She took a hold of two of the four kunai mid-air with chakra and flung them right back. They collided with the others and turned into icy spikes in the air. The spikes of ice fell in front of the group, which gave them a head's up for what would happen if they got close. As the staff ran away from the next batch of falling kunai Haku went through some familiar hand seals.

The snow all around them began to form around them in a protective dome. It quickly changed into ice. Transparent enough to allow them to see what was happening on the other side.

Knowing that he used his Kekkei Genkai to protect them from the incoming array of kunai, Sakura quickly moved closer to them. The ice around them deflected the kunai easily. When no more where thrown, Haku dismissed the ice and Fubuki was seen flying after the blimp.

"Where's Naruto?" Sasuke asked from his position in the back. They all looked around until Sakura spoke up.

"He went with Koyuki." Sakura responded as she avoided Sasuke's accusatory glance. It had been a spur of the moment decision to jump on him like that. Although it was funny, she was sure he would end up being mad, but she just couldn't pass up on the chance.

"Then we should go after them." Zabuza intervene before any conflict could occur. He was not in the mood to stand idle while they had a mission to accomplish.

"I sent a clone with them. With her there, we'll be able to find out where there base is located. The clone will take care of keeping Naruto and Koyuki safe. In the mean time, we should discuss what we should do about that hex crystal." Sakura said as she looked at Kakashi. He sighed and nodded, pulling out a necklace from his flak jacket pocket.

"Ma, I should have known you knew." Kakashi grumbled out. Sakura smiled and extended her hand out for the necklace.

"Besides the fact that taking jewelry from a woman is wrong. Don't you know Koyuki could get hurt when they find out she doesn't have the real thing? All they need is this crystal, not Koyuki." Sakura said as she lifted the chain up so the crystal could be at eye level. The others also took the chance to look at the key. It had a pretty unique shape to it, and did somewhat look like a key.

"We'll head to their base. No doubt Dotō will have his rogue ninja confront us." Kakashi said and Sakura nodded, handing the necklace back to him.

"Kazumi, we've arrived." Inner informed from her location in Dotō's base. Sakura felt her chakra move, when it suddenly disappeared. Sakura frowned and concentrated on her chakra, only to realize that it was no use. It was gone.

'The walls must restrict sensing. Inner keep going, you know what to do. We'll be there soon.' Sakura responded as she concentrated on the location she had last sensed her chakra and calculated the distance. It wasn't too far, but it was hidden well with its restricting walls.

"My clone has stopped moving." Sakura stated as she turned around towards the direction the airship left. With a raised finger she pointed in the general direction in which they had stopped in.

"They stopped in that direction, about ten kilometers away." Sakura informed and turned back around towards Kakashi.

"Alright. Sakura, you and Sasuke will fight off one of the rogues while Haku and Zabuza take care of the other one. I will face Nadare." Kakashi instructed. They all nodded in affirmation, mentally readying themselves for the fight.

"Come on loser, let's go." Sasuke said as he walked past Sakura and towards the cliff. Sakura snorted at the offensive name and turned after him with a quick Body Flicker to his side.

"Don't tell me you're still mad about earlier? Did you want to get hit?" Sakura asked as they made their way in the direction of the base.

"Tsk, just shut up and hurry." Sasuke stated with a jump off the side of the mountain. With a chuckle, Sakura jumped down after him.

After their exit, Dotō's men had moved towards the others in order to keep them away from Dotō's location. They had managed to get out of the train before they were killed from the impact.

"Seems like this part wasn't in her visions." Zabuza commented as he unsealed his sword. Kakashi too, lifted his head band to look at Dotō's goon's with his Sharingan swirling in challenge.

"Kakashi-san! You leave this to us! All of you should go and rescue Princess Koyuki!" Sandayū insisted from his position in front of them. His companions also took up their weapons and stood to fight.

"It should be okay right? There's not that many of them." Haku said as he looked around the field and calculated their victory. So far, positives were outweighing any negatives he could think of.

"Alright then. We'll leave these guys to you. Be careful until we get back." Kakashi said as they ran down the mountain and towards the chakra of the three rogue ninja who made themselves known.

'Okay, let's see. Where the heck are the cells in this place?!' Inner thought impassively. She frowned and looked around the room she was currently looking down at.

'I've been looking around forever in this fortress and yet I haven't found Naruto!' She thought as she crept along the ceiling.

'I guess this is a good fortress. What with its walls restricting someone from sensing chakra.' Inner thought with a nod of her head. Allowing herself to respect the fact that they weren't total buffoons.

'Okay Naruto, work with me." Inner thought as she settled herself in a seated position near a dark corner of the ceiling. She closed her eyes in concentration.

'I can't block chakra, so if you'd just spike your chakra a little maybe I can sense it with great concentration.' Inner thought with a crinkle of her nose.

'This place smell's disgusting! No! I have to concentrate!' Inner berated herself. She took in a deep breath and zoned out everything else.

After three minutes of intense concentration on her part, she sighed at the difficulty of finding him. She glared at the wall beside her and wished her glare could take off its restriction. However, neither her glare nor her Fūinjutsu were good enough to bypass it.

'Fine, I'll just use my chakra.' Inner said with a frown. No one could sense her chakra besides Kazumi anyway, so that was a plus.

Again she closed her eyes in concentration, but this time instead of sensing, she pulsed out her chakra in waves of tiny particles. No need to waste her chakra in full blown releases.

'You gotta love having perfect chakra control.' Inner smiled as she slowly released small amounts in well-timed intervals to travel through the fortress.

'Come out, come out, where ever you are.' Inner chanted as she continued to seek out Naruto.

With a snap of her eyes and a victorious smirk upon her face, she stood with success. After searching for him with her chakra for about seven minutes, she had gotten a response.

"Found you." She said and Flickered away without a trace of ever being in that room.

~*oOo*~

"So, you and Haku." Sasuke stated nonchalantly as he pushed himself from the branch he had landed on. Sakura raised an eyebrow at him while she jumped branches beside him. They traveled with caution as the branches were covered with thick piles of snow.

"Hm? What about me and Haku?" Sakura asked with confusion. Sasuke rolled his eyes at her reply and kept his gaze to the front.

"As if I didn't notice." Sasuke said, ignoring her questioning glance.

"Notice what? Sasuke, you'll have to elaborate." She said with a shake of her head. She might be able to understand him more than other's but even she wasn't sure sometimes what he meant.

"Even the dobe noticed that there was something wrong. Ever since this mission started, you and Haku have barely spoken." Sasuke said and Sakura hummed, finally understanding what he meant.

"Well, we worked out the first problem which I had an inkling about what it was. Now, however, I don't know what's wrong." Sakura responded with a shrug.

"I just figured he needed some time." She added.

"What was the first problem?" Sasuke asked with a slight curious glance her way. Sakura smiled over to him in reassurance.

"Nothing really." She said which was quickly shot down as a lie from Sasuke's piercing stare. She chuckled and looked up front, brushing away her pony-tail to her back. She tried to stay normal and used the pause of jumping on another branch to buy her some time to think of a lie.

"The truth is, during that day you two where still in the hospital, we got in a fight. It happened during the time when my eyes were unsealed. Really Sasuke, it wasn't even a big deal." She said, tweaking the truth a little.

With a grunt of acknowledgement, Sakura breathed out a sigh of relief. She was glad he was still somewhat gullible.

With a grunt of surprise, Sakura felt a weight on her side as she found herself being pushed off the branch and falling towards the ground. Looking behind Sasuke's shoulder—who had pushed her—she saw the branch they were on. It was covered in ice spikes.

As soon as she landed on the ground, she took up a low stand to get ready to fight. With an annoyed grunt, she fell face first onto the snow covered ground as a foot planted itself onto her back and pushed off. Sakura lifted up her head, fully aware of who it had been and why it had happened. She heard the distinct sound of metal against metal behind her soon after.

Before she could turn over to see Sasuke, a hand grasped ahold of her cloak and shirt from behind and pulled her up.

"Get out of the way if you're not gonna fight." Zabuza's low voice spoke up as he threw her over to a pile of snow. She brushed off the snow that had gotten on her face and glared over at the man. He had his back facing her and his attention on the flying woman high above.

"Why does it feel like I'm getting tossed around like a sack of potatoes?" She mumbled lowly to herself.

"Sorry." Haku apologized from beside her with an outstretched hand. She took the offered hand and quickly stood up with his help. She only had a split moment to notice that he seemed much better, and sported a hardened expression ready for battle. They both separated as a kunai dug itself in between them and detonated the ice torrent of spikes.

Sakura looked over to the woman and than to Sasuke who fought off Mizore. The purple circular sphere on their armor stood out the most to her.

"Zabuza, I've got a plan. Keep her occupied in the air for a while. I'll be right back." Sakura said as she quickened her pace over to Sasuke. He merely sent her a knowing smirk and turned back to his fight with Mizore. He lowered himself onto the ground and pushed off with his hands, landing a kick to his chest that pushed him away. After he realized that neither Ninjutsu or Genjutsu worked he stuck with Taijutsu.

"Ah, you're the girl who managed to crack my armor." Mizore stated as he looked over and noticed Sakura.

"Yeah, I have a bit of knowledge on the armor you're wearing." She responded calmly as she opened up her cloak. Visible pink and purple tags could be seen tied to kunai.

She waited, with two kunai in her hands, for Sasuke to finish with his turn. Mizore slid around Sasuke's strike only to fall for his intended trap and hit him with his Lion Combo. As Mizore managed to stand back up, he slid down towards Sakura with his arm extended forward.

Quickly, she reenacted Sakura's moment from her memories and shot a flurry of kunai at Mizore. As they hit and deflected off his armor, the tags flew all around him in a frenzy of pink and purple. She glanced at Sasuke to make sure he was at a safe distance and lifted her one-handed seal.

Seconds after sending out some chakra, the tags were activated and exploded all around Mizore. She wasted no time and Body Flickered over to Fubuki as the tags were still exploding.

Zabuza had swung his sword at her from the side as she threw ice bomb kunai at Haku. As she was flung across the forest, she collided with a tree. She slid off of the trunk and started to fall back to the ground. Sakura appeared before she hit the ground and took ahold of her elbow and knee. With a swing of her body around her in a full turn, she let go as soon as got enough momentum and hurled her towards Mizore.

She didn't need the smoke to clear to know that they had collided. Their screams were more than enough to clue her in. The explosion from their collision of armor cleared out the previous smoke and gave them a clear view of the end results.

"What was that?" Sasuke asked as he jumped down beside them. They could now see the two rogues sprawled out on the ground, twitching in spasms. Their armor was burnt and damaged from the collision. Sakura slid a scroll out of her holster and sealed up all of her kunai.

"Their chakra armor is great, but even so, they still have weak points. Because of their huge intake of chakra—which can only take a certain amount—the wearers have to be careful not to get near one another because it'll become highly unstable." Sakura said as she lifted her hand and twitched her fingers. The kunai she had previously thrown, all came back to her with a chakra string attached to them and to the ends of her gloved fingers. She turned to the other's as soon as she was done sealing the kunai. Noticing their bewildered expressions she raised an eyebrow in question.

"What? Oh that? It's just the basic of chakra strings. It's about all I can do with them right now." She responded as she shrugged.

"Anyways, we should get to Naruto. Kakashi-sensei can catch up as soon as he's done fighting Nadare." She suggested which she received nods of agreement. They all started to run towards Dotō's base. It wouldn't take them much longer to reach it, hopefully things would be okay once they did.

"Psst! Naruto!"

Naruto opened his eyes cautiously at the loud whispering coming from the outside of his cell. His body hurt from the electrifying pain from the chakra negator device. It was seeping out all of his chakra and exhausting him of his reserves, in a very painful way might he add.

When he managed to open his eyes they widened in surprise. All the weariness he was feeling before slowly dissipated into relief.

"Sakura-chan?!" He asked in wonder. On the outside of his cell, he could see Sakura, or her head staring down at him upside down. Her hair and cloak dangled down behind her as her hands gripped the bars.

"Not so loud!" Inner said as she looked around and flipped her self to the floor when the cost was clear. She took a second to cast a Genjutsu with ease around the area just incase.

"Hold on a second, and I'll get both of you out." She hurriedly whispered as she leaned down with a scrutinizing eye on the lock. It held a tag with an inscription belonging to Fūinjutsu. It just so happened that she sucked in that category.

"It's useless." Koyuki said from in front of Naruto's cell. Inner raised and eyebrow and stood up, looking back at Koyuki sitting in her own cell.

"How do you know that? Wait, are you even tied up? They probably didn't tie you up because they knew you wouldn't run." Inner said as she turned her back to Koyuki and focused her attention to the lock.

"You're right. Ever since my father died, I've been running away. I'm not even going to try anymore." She mumbled into her arms that rested on top of her bent knees.

"You were trying before? It sure didn't look like it." Inner said. She wasn't as nice as Kazumi who at this moment would probably want her to see the good things she's accomplished in life. Frankly, Inner couldn't see any good she's done, so she was going to approach her in her own way.

"Even if we do get out of here...it won't change a thing. All we can do is give up." She said. Inner looked away from the lock and towards Naruto. The silence had gone on for quite some time after her statement. He glared at Koyuki only to shift his gaze to the ground and change into that of a sad expression.

'I'm actually gonna hear one of his speeches in the flesh!...Well, not exactly since this is a Shadow Clone...well whatever!' Inner thought as she kept her gaze at Naruto in expectation.

"I bet it's a lot easier, once you've given up." Naruto spoke up. His calm, melancholic voice rang out throughout his cell and through the outside corridors. Everything was stilled and the low light seemed to fit in with the current atmosphere.

"...No one ever cared about me before. And I would just try to ignore it, y'know? But it was still hard." Naruto said with a pause as he remembered his early childhood.

"I used to think there was no place in this world for me...But I...Augh!" Naruto shouted out as the negator sucked away the chakra he had released in an attempt at escaping.

"Naruto wait!" Inner shouted as she gripped the lock with the Fūinjutsu on it. She had enhanced her hands with chakra, because she was aware of the effects of touching the bars without undoing the seal.

With a shout, equal to that of Naruto's in volume, Inner pushed on until she could feel it crack. The lock shattered under her strength and she worked quickly on moving the door. She shouted in frustration when it wouldn't budge, and narrowed her eyes in a silent challenge. She was sure the tingling in her arms that was spreading to the rest of her body was not a good sign. With a deep breath, she released more chakra and pushed. Her feet sliding from the pressure in which she kept adding towards the solid door.

With a rough, jerking motion, the cell door finally slid open. Inners' legs bucked underneath her. Her knees and palms crashing down to the hard floor to support herself. Instead of the loud shouts from either Naruto or Inner, their ragged breathing was the only thing Koyuki could hear. She didn't understand how they could push themselves this hard. Her attention was back on the pinkette who was working on setting them free and the blonde who spoke of his past.

Inner wasted no time to push herself off the floor after a few intake of breaths and went to stand next to Naruto. While Inner diligently worked on getting him out—ignoring the vertigo and pulling sensation within her—Naruto continued to re-tell his story in between short breaths.

"But even after everything...I still managed to make friendships along the way! I kept at it and never gave up and good things happened!" Naruto shouted and Inner grabbed a hold of his arms from behind before he hit the floor, face first. She had pulled on the chains holding him up and managed to break the chain from all the strain she was placing on them.

"When you give up...all your dreams and everything else is gone!" Naruto shouted and Inner stilled from her kneeled position. She was amazed at how deep his words could cut into you. She smiled at Naruto and broke the chain on his legs. As soon as he was somewhat free, he stood and continued to have his determined gaze on Koyuki. His cobalt blue eyes piercing her with their intensity. Belief shown clearly in his eyes.

"Your father and Sandayū knew that! I'll show you, that they weren't wrong!" Naruto exclaimed as he pulled on the cuffs on his wrists and broke the chain in between them. Inner wanted to stop him from over exerting himself, but felt the need to just allow him to prove to Koyuki how serious he was. Even when every time he forced himself, a little bit of his chakra would leak out and the negator would activate. Seeping him of his chakra and energy quickly.

Inner looked over to Koyuki as she swiped a hand over her forehead. A layer of sweat had coated over her from her previous exertion.

'At least know, she looks like she's finally reacting to his words.' Inner thought with a sigh. She stood up and helped stabilize Naruto before he fell over. She pulled one of his arms over her shoulder to help him walk out.

"...Thanks Sakura-chan..." He said with ragged breaths. Inner smiled and sighed when she turned her attention towards Koyuki.

"Let's hurry and get out of this place." Inner said with her gaze over to the negator on Naruto's stomach. She frowned and then turned to Koyuki. Her viridian eyes clashed with Koyuki's light purple ones.

"I suggest you start getting your thoughts straightened out. There's a lot of people waiting for you to return spring to their land." Inner said with a narrowed stare at Koyuki.

'Hopefully, I'll be able to last long enough until I meet up with Kazumi.' Inner thought as her look of worry morphed into a glare as her eyes focused in on the sealed lock.

Okay the next chapter won't be later than Sunday! So I hope you enjoyed and review! Sorry these chapters have been pretty short, I've been busy preparing for school. It's a pain but maybe I'll have more time once things settle down and the next chapters may be longer. Anyways, thanks a lot for the support in and out of the story! You guys are the best!
