This chapter Niamh attends Nancy's wedding, ends up watching Kathleen Angel and has bonding time with Ste as she helps him out with his trial at college coffee. (Warning of nudity and a sprinkle of suggestion but not too explicit)
Over the next few days Niamh had tried to stay away from the club as Mitzeee was arranging Nancy's wedding and she weren't meant to be getting involved in that side of the wedding however after having to stop Mitzeee and Joel beating the living daylights out of Rhys and Darren she decided she had to step in and help, she had ended up doing most the reception stuff because Rhys had bought some reefs with both their names on. She was still annoyed at Cheryl for giving the club up for free still but she weren't going to have something put on in the club mediocre, it had to be the best even it was for free. It could bring in more punters in the future and next time they do a wedding they could put in a package and make more money.
Niamh was sat in her room on her bed watching Esther pace across her room, she had seemed more stressed than Darren was. It was night before valentines day and she was going to the wedding the next day with Esther. They had spent all day and evening doing the decoration of the club so they didn't have go to the club in the morning.
"Nancy's mum is trying to turn Nancy against Darren, she's proper up herself looks down her nose at us all I can't stand her and Darren is loosing his mind over keeping it a secret" said Esther. Niamh watched her a bit longer nodding at Esther was saying.
"Esther, come sit down, your running a hole in my carpet" said Niamh. Esther sighed and dumped herself on the bed next to her. Niamh grabbed her hand and held it.
"I just really want Darren to just tell Nancy about the wedding, so I don't have to worry about the surprise any more, look I am going grey" said Esther leaning her head towards Niamh. Niamh looked at her hair and smirked it was still as blonde as ever.
"Hows about tomorrow after the wedding and the reception I come back to yours, see if I can de stress you" said Niamh putting her arm round Esther rubbing her arm. Esther grabbed her hand and held it.
"That sounds like a great idea, I can de-stress you to, you've been planning most the reception stuff" said Esther. She turned her head to kiss Niamh and Niamh kissed back slowly savouring the time before she knew Esther had to go and soon enough Esther got a text from Frankie telling her to come home.
"Does this mean good bye until tomorrow" said Niamh. Esther sat up and got out off bed.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow, meet us at the folly" said Esther. They said their goodbyes and Esther saw herself out, she spent a lot of time round at the flat anyway at the moment. She liked that because it made things a lot less awkward and it was nice that she could talk to Esther about most things. Except the whole dark side of her life.

The next day Niamh got ready really quickly she only had to put on a blue dress nicely fitting dress and tie her hair back in a pony tail and waited for Cheryl and Lynsey downstairs while they finished getting themselves together. Brendan had gone out the night before and hadn't come back yet so Niamh assumed he must off pulled some lad. She moved her thoughts away from that and started to think about the day that was to come. Finally they came down stairs and they set off. Niamh wrapped her coat round herself a bit more as it was a chilly day.
"Lets hope they actually get married" said Lynsey linking arms with Niamh. Niamh smirked at her, she wasn't even sure if they were going to be a wedding she was a bit sceptical of this coming together.
"Well they have to get married, they have the club booked" said Cheryl. Lynsey put her other arm out hinting for Cheryl to link it which she did and they all huddled closer together as they walked down the steps.
They carried on walking and they walked in to the folly area, they had really done the place up well. It was like a tent was cocooning everyone in with bits of canvas everywhere. Niamh went and sat near the front, she had agreed with Esther that she'd sit with her during the ceremony and then they would stay at the reception for a bit. Cheryl and Lynsey sat behind her, Darren was stood at the front of the folly pacing a little bit.
"So your first valentines day ever, how does it feel?" said Lynsey. Niamh smirked and turned round to talk to them.
"Well aunty Lynsey I have seen about 16 valentines days, forgetting my age already" said Niamh smirking and laughing at her own joke. Lynsey smiled at the joke while Cheryl laughed.
"I know that, I was at your christening" said Lynsey. Niamh was about to make a funny remark about that but then the music started to play and everyone turned round to see Nancy was stood there with Esther and Ruby behind her. She smiled at how gorgeous Esther was looking. Nancy walked up the aisles with Esther and Ruby behind her. As soon as Nancy was up the aisle Esther came and sat next to her. She was absolutely glowing from pride of actually being a part of putting this together. She looked so adorable, she wrapped her arm round Esther's back.

The ceremony had been a quick one and soon everyone had piled in to the club to get on with the reception. Niamh had an input with the theme of the club, she had gone more of a traditional approach with swans and Greek mythology. She had put a few statues on the bar of some swans and she had put quotes of Greek mythology around the room because in Greek mythology people would risk their lives and their freedom for the person they loved without thinking about it and that is what love was all about for her. Niamh was sat in the corner off the club, she was so tired and she was past the point of being sociable. So she was sat there watching everyone talk to each other. Keeping her eye on where Esther was to make sure she was okay. She looked round the room again and it looked like tension was brewing with Nancy, her mum, Darren, Frankie and Esther. She got up and subtly went over to the argument that was brewing. She got to the argument and stood behind Esther.
"This place isn't up to standard, it's the local night club my daughter deserves better" said Nancy's mum. Niamh raised an eyebrow, she had made the place look traditional. It's not like she had let Rhys and Mitzeee fill the place with tacky love hearts and little cupids.
"What do you expect him to do rent out Buckingham palace, a massive wedding in a stately home, Darren has worked so hard putting this together and you nearly ruined it" said Esther with annoyance in her voice. Niamh moved even more closer and was ready to defend her if necessary her stance protective ready to act.
"Well it may be good enough for likes of you but Nancy deserves better" said Nancy's mum.
"The likes of us" said Frankie. Niamh saw it could escalate at any moment so she kept her defensive stance ready to jump in when needed.
"Your 50 and you dress like a prostitute" said Nancy's mum. Frankie picked up a glass off red wine and chucked it in Nancy's mum's face and then they both went for each other. Niamh grabbed Esther's hand and pulled her out the way of the glass that had just been tossed aside.
Jack grabbed Frankie while Tony ran over grabbing Nancy's mum both holding them back. Niamh wrapped her arm round Esther's shoulders protectively holding her close to her.
"I got everything I wanted today, had a great wedding planned by the man of my dreams, you can get out now" said Nancy. Niamh moved Esther back as Nancy's mum came past. Soon the mood changed back to one of celebration. Niamh looked at Esther and smiled she kissed her on the cheek. Leaving her mouth lingering near her ear.
"How's about we go back to yours" whispered Niamh in her ear. Esther nodded and they both snook out the club quietly.
They got to Esther's place and they both went straight to Esther's room. They got on the bed and Niamh kissed her before sitting up to get her dress off leaving her just in her bra and pants. Esther did the same leaving her in also just her bra and pants. Niamh kissed her again while stroking across Esther's stomach.
The next morning Niamh woke up with Esther's head on her chest and facing towards her. Her legs wrapped up around her legs. Niamh rubbed her arm and looked at the clock next to her bed. She was surprised to see it was a little bit after midday they had been asleep all morning. Niamh sat up in bed careful not to wake Esther. She then grabbed a fluffy dressing gown from Esther wardrobe. It was a bit small on her she weren't bothered. It would look worse if she put the dress back on. She went through to the kitchen quietly and put the kettle on. She busied herself making toast and a hot drink. She soon felt arms wrap round her waist. She turned round to see Esther was stood wearing her PJ's and Niamh's jacket from the day before.

Over the next couple of days Niamh noticed there seemed to be a buzz going round the village like everyone was really happy she didn't know if it was to do with wedding or fact they were all on some happy potion but everyone seemed happy. Niamh was on her way home after a meal with Esther at the dog, Niamh walked past the fishing point and to her surprise she saw Kathleen Angel was out her pram and edging closer to the water. Niamh acted on impulse and scooped Kathleen Angel up.
"Hello" said Niamh, she smiled at the one year old on her hip, why on earth was she on her own? Theresa seemed to have enough common sense to not leave her alone in a pram near water. She carried Kathleen angel away from the pub and in the direction of the flat, she needed to find Joel he probably had Theresa's number. She got to the flat and place Kathleen Angel sat up on the sofa.
"Joel, are you home?" called Niamh.
"Yeah, I'm coming" said Joel. She heard a lot of movement from upstairs before she saw Joel come downstairs.
"Yeah Joel could you ring Theresa please and tell her she needs to sack her babysitter, found this little one at the fishing point outside the pub" asked Niamh. She picked up Kathleen Angel again and sat down on the sofa with her in her arms. She was obviously tired because she seemed a bit fussy. Niamh patted her back slightly.
"Hey Theresa, it's Joel" said Joel in to the phone, he went in to the kitchen.
Niamh rocked her slightly which did the trick and soon she fell asleep, Niamh smiled kids had such cute sleeping faces to her. Joel came back through and Niamh made a shush noise before he could speak loudly.
"What did Theresa say?" Asked Niamh quietly.
"She said she had left Mercedes with Kathleen Angel for an hour and then Mercedes went A-wall with her, she said she would be round soon to come get her" said Joel quietly. Niamh nodded and rolled her eyes. Mercedes was such an idiot sometimes, she seemed to be falling apart since the whole Silas thing. Niamh sighed and carried on tapping her back to keep her asleep.
"Mercedes is such a fruit loop I am telling you" said Niamh. There was a knock on the door and Joel answered it. Theresa was stood there with Jacqui and Michaela. Joel let them in and Niamh stood up slowly as to not wake up Kathleen Angel.
"See told you she'd be fine with Niamh, she watches Leah and Lucas all the time" said Michaela. Niamh smiled at Theresa she could understand why she was worried about the situation. Niamh passed her to Jacqui because Theresa looked far too stressed to hold Kathleen Angel. She was soon suffocated by blond hair as she was hugged by Theresa. Niamh hugged back awkwardly. They said there good byes and they walked out the flat.
"Theresa if you ever need a baby sitter, I am only a shout away" said Niamh after them quietly.

Over the next week Niamh was working out a way of getting time of college to Declan for his birthday, it was soon and Niamh had no intention of missing it whatsoever even if it meant getting kicked out of college. She missed the boys so much it was like having a constant back ache. It hurt and it was annoying and she just needed to fill them in on so much. Niamh was sat in college coffee with her laptop on her knee. She was looking for flight tickets on the internet, she decided it was going to be a surprise to the boys. She could do it that way because she was going to surprise her mum as well. She put her phone to her ear and waited for Eileen to pick.
"Hello, love" said Eileen. Niamh throat constricted slightly at the sound of her voice because she missed her so much. She may be annoying at times but she was her mum.
"Hi mum, you all ready for next weekend?" asked Niamh. Smiling at the idea of seeing their surprised faces when they saw her.
"Yeah, all set for next week,
"Yeah I am all ready for next weekend, wish I could see you there though" said Eileen. Niamh couldn't help smirk at that comment if only she knew what Niamh was planning.
"Well I'll try come in half term" said Niamh. She smirked and they carried on their conversation until Eileen had to go run some errands. Niamh put the phone down and put her head against the back of the sofa. She wanted to see them so much but she was unsure of Eileen reaction to her relationship.
"You look how I feel" said Ste she turned round to see him holding a tray and a cup in his hand, he had a strange haircut it was black with sides and back shaven. He put the latte on the table in front of Niamh and hovered by her.
"Well surprising my mum and brothers next weekend and in that time I am there I have got to come out to my mum" said Niamh.
"Least you don't have to do this stupid trial for a job, against yanky doodle over there" said Ste winking at her. Niamh smirked and a plan built up in her brain and she got up with the latte, putting her stuff in her bag while standing up. She went up to the coffee stand bit and sat down on the stool. Sipping at her latte.
"Come on actually smile at the customers and talk to them" said Niamh. She smiled at the customer that went past her.
"Okay, who are you my life coach" said Ste. Niamh nodded and pretended to wave a wand over Ste. This made them both fall about laughing.
"Gosh I miss this" said Niamh. Tapping Ste's shoulder and sitting there staring at him. She did actually miss just hanging out with him since being at college that didn't seem to be going to well. Niamh kept giving tips to Ste about how to get Tony to like him and soon the shift was coming to a close. Niamh smirked as Tony walked across the room with Doug.
"You both have the job" said Tony tapping Doug on the back. Niamh smiled and hugged Ste that was great news meant she might get some of her babysitting duties back.
