Chapter 46
Replacement
By the window of Gakupo and Neru's room, is a man with red hair, he is watching them sleep while seething with anger. Neru had fallen asleep at last. I will get Neru away from that Neko reject if it is the last thing that I do. Akaito thought to himself. The samurai finally fell asleep. Neru was still sleeping. Akaito went into the house seeing that Nero wasn't there. He saw a drunken Haku sleeping on the coffee table in the living room holding an empty bottle of sake in her right hand. He shook his head at the drunk. Akaito made his way down the hall to Neru and Gakupo's bedroom. Her sleep is so deep that she had no idea of what was going on around her.
Akaito opened the bedroom door quietly and slipped into the room, closing the door behind him without alerting Gakupo. The Neko's left ear twitched but he didn't wake. Akaito grabbed hold of Gakupo and pulled him out of the bed without waking him. He then tied the samurai up and put him against the far wall with a gag over his mouth. He was placed just under the very window that Akaito had been looking in on them from before. Finally, Akaito climbed into the bed with Gakupo's wife. Neru snuggled against Akaito as his arms wrapped around her.
Neru was still sleeping not noticing that difference. Gakupo woke up to find himself gagged and tied on the floor. He banged the back of his head against the wall trying to wake his wife, but she was in too deep a sleep to hear him. She ended up kicking Akaito off the bed in her sleep. Akaito hit the floor with a loud enough thud to wake her causing her to jump out of her sleep. "Gakupo!" she said instantly knowing that her husband was prone to falling off the bed. Gakupo looked up at her. Akaito grabbed her left ankle and pulled her off the bed, making her fall flat on her back on the floor. Gakupo watched in horror unable to help his wife. "What are you doing?"
"I'm making you mine," Akaito said.
"Let me go before I hurt you!" Akaito pinned her to the floor and leaned over her.
"I want you as my wife."
"No!" Neru protested angrily.
"Why not, Neru?"
"I don't even love you! I love Gakupo!" The samurai banged his head against the wall. He did it for a second time; Akaito grabbed one of the samurai's swords, and pointed the blade at Gakupo. "Stop it!"
"See if you can stop me from killing him," Akaito challenged. Neru hit him on the back of the head with the sheath of her sword.
"Stop!" she shouted again. Akaito crumbled to the floor, the sword fell from his hand which buried itself into Gakupo's left ankle, his eyes opened wide in shock and pain. "Humph!" Gakupo tried fighting the gag and the bounds as Neru walked over to him. He looked up at her and spoke to her telepathically.
"Untie me please, dear." Neru untied her husband quickly; he took the sword out of his ankle, and winced in pain. "What the hell is his problem?" Gakupo asked out loud.
"I don't know for sure." Gakupo's ankle healed as he stood up.
"We should get him out of here before he wakes up," Gakupo suggested.
"Yeah." Gakupo picked Akaito up and headed for the bedroom door, opening it he saw Nero standing there.
"Hi…" Gakupo muttered showing his irritation unintentionally. The samurai looked at Neru and then back at Nero.
"It's about time something happened to that jackass," Nero said bluntly.
"He tied me up and slept with my wife." A pissed look crossed Nero's face as he looked at Akaito and he spoke through gritted teeth.
"Get him out of here… before I beat his unconscious body to a bloody pulp!" Nero growled.
"Have fun," Gakupo said as he brought Akaito outside the house and dumped him on the front lawn.
"Live action video game time…" Nero said as he cracked his knuckles. Gakupo went back inside and closed the door behind him so that Nero could have his fun beating Akaito. He went to his bedroom where his wife was waiting.
"Neru…?" Gakupo called. She looked up at him.
"Hm…?"
"Did you get any sleep at all?"
"I hardly got any sleep…"
"You should go rest then."
"I fi do, more crap will happen…" she said drowsily.
"You need to rest," he pointed out. With that, Neru went back to their king-sized bed and lay down to try and get some sleep.
