A/N: Bits about the Elder Wand may not be accurate on how it is used and transfers owners. It was hard to make a unique version of the ending, so I apologize if you notice large errors in this aspect of the story.

1.

Madam Pomphrey was stunned when five bodies apparated into the middle of her Hospital Wing, and then Demon came bounding through the door. Ron quickly told Madam Pomphrey that Liana needed a blood replenishing potion. She ran to her cupboard and came back with a vial. Liana couldn't raise her hand to take the potion, so Ron tipped three vials into her mouth as Liana became unconscious. Dobby watched nervously.

2.

The adults landed on the border of the castle ground, worried when they saw no one but themselves. "I'm trying the Hospital Wing!" Severus shouted as he took off sprinting towards the castle; the other adults took off in other directions. He had a gut instinct that if Liana was returning to the castle, she may be injured.

Students looked at him in awe. This is not normal behavior for their previous Potion's Master.

As the door of the Hospital Wing opened again, Severus burst in just as Ron was carrying Liana to a bed.

Severus ran to her side, looking incredibly expressive of his worry. "What's happened to her?"

Ron bent down and removed his torn shirt from around her arm to reveal the words "Avada Kedavra" etched into her skin. Severus took hold of her arm and looked horrified.

"Bellatrix cursed it to not stop bleeding." Neville replied, his voice sounding stronger than usual when speaking to Severus.

Hermione sat down on the bed next to Liana and a nervous looking Demon and explained everything that had happened from Liana running away from home until now, as Madam Pomphrey cleaned the wound with a wet cloth. Severus noted how livid Ron looked as Hermione spoke of Lucius and Bellatrix.

Neville showed Severus the locket when they spoke of the horcrux and how Draco and Dobby saved them. Severus really couldn't believe they found another horcrux, and he seemed surprised of Draco's actions.

They now believed there was one left to find. While Severus knew there were two left before Voldemort would be mortal. And he didn't want the last horcrux destroyed, for that meant the destruction of his daughter as well.

It wasn't long before the rest of The Order came into the Hospital Wing. Molly and Arthur Weasley rushed to Ron. Molly squeezed him into a hug, and then proceeded to scold him for running away from school and putting his life on the line.

Victor and Luna ran into the Hospital Wing to see Hermione and Neville. The couples embraced each other in relief to no longer be separated.

"Out!" Madam Pomphrey exclaimed. "Family only!"

The large majority of the group left except for Severus, Remus and Sirius. They sat on a nearby bed and watched Liana rest as Madam Pomphrey wrapped the wound in a bandage. Severus stroked Liana's hair. Words couldn't describe the anticipation he felt waiting for Liana to awake.

Meanwhile, Ron was putting his efforts into destroying the locket. He stood alone in a corridor of the castle, the Gryffindor's sword in his hand. His friends had offered to help Ron; no one knew what would emerge from the locket, but Ron assured them he could do it alone, and they could continue to spend their time with Victor and Luna.

When Ron opened the locket, smoke emerged forcefully from the locket and filled the room.

"Ronald Weasley… I have seen your heart. I know your fears…" Spiders formed from the smoke and ran around the ground near him. "I know where your jealousy lies…"

Liana appeared from the smoke, naked. She spoke, "Why would I have ever chosen you? I only ever wanted Harry Potter." Her late boyfriend Harry appeared from the shadows. The two began aggressively moving their hands over each other's bodies, kissing passionately.

Ron watched in anger. Then he ran towards the locket with the sword. He ran through the smoky images of Liana and Harry and slammed the sword into the locket. Immediately the smoke dispersed. Ron looked down at the smashed locket and grinned.

Back in the Hospital Wing, the guardians were continuing to watch over Liana. Blood was beginning to soak through the bandage, without consulting Madam Pomphrey, Severus removed the bandage to see the wound was black within each cut. This was cursed with dark magic…

Severus looked to Sirius and Remus. "What is this?" Severus spat, anger towards Bellatrix filled him as he watched blood pour quicker and quicker from Liana's arm. "I need more blood replenishing potions!" He shouted no one in particular.

Remus rose to get more potions as Sirius helped administer them to the sleeping Liana. Severus waved his wand over Liana's arm, using the same counter curse as he used when he found her after Malfoy had cast a spell on her, leaving her bleeding heavily on the ground. Luck was not availing.

The wound was still black and seeping blood through each letter. Severus knew there was irony in the words written upon her arm. This was intended to kill her.

Severus held his daughter's arm in his hand and waved his wand about it with his other hand for some time. He was getting covered in her blood.

"Let me try something…" Sirius walked near Liana's arm. He waved his wand over her, speaking in words that no one in the room had heard before. The black scripture turned red, like a normal wound, and then the wounds tightened and the bleeding stopped, so that all the remained was pink scars where the wounds had been.

They didn't have a moment to feel relieved for Sirius suddenly grasped his own forearm and looked around horrified, even Demon looked up at him from the bed by Liana.

"I'm being called." Sirius knew he had to go. Dumbledore desperately needed him to be an active spy more than ever. Sirius left the Hospital Wing to leave the castle grounds and apparate way.

This made Severus's anxiety increase even more. Voldemort would be calling all his followers for no reason. Voldemort, clearly, knew that pieces of his soul were being destroyed.

However, his worries were soon distracted as Liana stirred in bed. He watched her intensely at the edge of his seat until her eyes opened.

"Dad!" She felt nothing be relief to see him again. Rising in bed she went to hug him, but the Potion's Master was already at her side squeezing her tightly. "Dad, I'm sorry."

"Damn your Gryffindor blood…" He sighed as he held her tightly against his chest, Demon crawled to put his head on Liana's lap. When Severus finally let her go, with his hands on her shoulders, he looked at her. He was just glad to see her again—alive. "Mr. Weasley destroyed the locket horcrux. And Miss Granger filled me in on everything that happened between me dropping you off at muggle high school and now…"

"Dad, I'm sorry, but I had to."

Severus sighed, she was never going to understand that she didn't have to. She could have left that world entirely behind… "Perhaps," Severus began carefully. "It was unreasonable of me to expect you could let this world go."

"I'm sorry…" Liana repeated again.

"I am too, Lion…" Severus said as he kissed her forehead.

"Please don't make me go back to the states." She pleaded.

"You needn't worry. I have already sold the house and terminated my employment there. But you need to stop trying to finding these horcruxes."

"There is only one left! We are so close." Liana rebutted.

Severus wondered if this was the time to tell her she was a horcrux in addition to the last object of a horcrux. He took a deep breath and began. "Liana Violet…" He looked at her compassionately. "While I am proud of your bravery, you cannot make You-Know-Who mortal again—"

"We can though! We just need the last horcrux!" She interrupted.

Severus continued, not even showing annoyance at her interruption. "Liana, you cannot make him mortal again because there are two horcruxes left."

Liana looked puzzled. "Then we'll find that one, too!"

Trying to keep his composure, Severus kept explaining. "The night your mother was killed, You-Know-Who made his seventh horcrux even though he did not intend for it to be made. When the spell backfired, the last part of his soul went into the only living object in the room…"

Liana was making a face and looking bothered.

"Yes," Severus knew she was making the connection. "That is why you can speak Parsel Tongue, that is why you can see his thoughts, because part of his soul resides within you, and he cannot be a mortal while you are alive." She shook her head. "I'm sorry, Liana. This is why I wanted to leave. The closer You-Know-Who gets to being mortal means the closer you are to potential d-death." His voice cracked on the last word, unable to think of his daughter not living.

Liana looked forsaken. She thought she knew what she was doing. Everything made sense to her now, why Severus would go to such an extent to keep her from Voldemort… The war couldn't end if Liana was alive.

Suddenly, the doors of the Hospital Wing burst open. Remus came running in. He swept Liana in his arms, but Liana could tell he was still tense.

"What's going on?" She asked.

Remus looked at her as though he was uncomfortable. "Sirius just informed us that there will be an attack on Hogwarts. You-Know-Who knows he is near mortal. He wants this over before he loses his last horcrux."

Liana nodded and looked at Severus. She, instantly, knew that no one else knew of the seventh horcrux, maybe Dumbledore, but no one else in The Order. "Okay…" She replied softly.

Remus apologized and said he needed to leave to get matters in place before the mass of Death Eaters arrived at the castle. He kissed Liana on the crown of her head and left the room, frantically.

Moments later, Liana grasped her hands to her head in pain. Her scar felt like it was bursting. Suddenly she saw Voldemort, moving through the air, apparating. Then she realized whose eyes she was seeing this through—his snake.

"Nagini…" Liana gasped when the pain ceased. "She is a horcrux."

"We need to go somewhere safe." Severus said, sounding worried.

"I can't… I need to be here with everyone. I need to fight alongside my friends." She replied.

"Liana, this war cannot end as long as you are alive, and I am not willing to allow you to sacrifice yourself!" Severus's eyes were piercing.

"This battle is upon us, and they'll need our help to end that. We can worry about the war later." Liana said as she got up. Her words and actions reminded her of Lily.

"Very well…" Severus said faintly. He couldn't argue with someone that was a legal adult. All he could do was his best to protect her until the battle ends. Liana was right. The Death Eaters were coming now, and The Order needed assistance.

Liana transfigured her hospital gown into jeans and a black t-shirt. Her hair fell around her face in messy waves. She looked up at her dad. He sighed, and put an arm around her as they left the Hospital Wing.

They moved to the Great Hall, where the majority of the school was waiting, ready to fight. McGonagall and other professors were placing spells upon the school for its protection.

Suddenly the ground started to shake and they heard growls in the distance. "Giants…" Hermione whispered as she appeared at Liana's side. She looked and noticed all her closet friends near her. Some braver students ran outside to see vines reach from the ground to tie the giants down.

"Get inside! Take cover!" Liana heard McGonagall shout as glass broke around them and Death Eaters began apparating into the school itself.

Students began running from the Great Hall in screams. Liana was separated from her father in the crowd and blurs of smoke from apparating Death Eaters, and the rumbling castle as Death Eaters burst into the school from all areas.

She felt someone grab her hand and pull her in a direction, she couldn't see who it was, but she went along. Finally some of the smoke cleared. She looked at Ron pulling her along in the crowd.

"Neville!" She shouted as he ran by her. "Are you alright?"

"Never better!" Neville shouted as he took off running towards the action with Luna nearby him.

Liana looked up at Ron, her eyes shown the nerves she felt. This battle was already more than she imagined it to be.

"Li," Ron began, ignoring the students running around them as they stood on a flight of stairs within the castle.

"Ron…" She looked up at him. It was as though there was nothing around them. They stood as though they were alone with each other again behind the waterfall.

Nothing else was interfering for once. In a moment of chaos they looked at each other, and knew nothing was going to interfere again. They may never have this moment again.

Liana placed a hand on Ron's chest and he pulled her close to him. Their lips met as Liana moved a hand to the back of Ron's head. Ron held her close to him in his arms.

Glass shattered from above, they broke apart as Ron put his arm over her and they took off running. They ran until they were in a secluded part of the castle. Ron led her outside then they went downhill on the castle grounds.

"We'll wait this out in the Boat House." Liana continued to follow him.

It wasn't until they neared the Boat House that they realized it was already occupied. Standing, hidden near the doorway they heard him speak to someone.

Voldemort was feet from Liana.

It was easy to hear what he was saying. His voice echoed over the water. Then everything happened so fast, Liana realized who Voldemort was speaking to, and then blood covered the nearby wall. A pop was heard, and Liana knew Voldemort was gone as she rushed onto the floor at Sirius's side.

"Sirius!" Tear instantly filled her eyes.

"I guess I wasn't a good enough actor…" Sirius tried to chuckle. He didn't seem surprised that Voldemort had discovered his loyalties were for the other side. "It was hard to not be bias for the Light once I had met you. I'm surprised he didn't realize sooner…"

Sirius put a hand on Liana's cheek. Liana put a hand on his as she cried. Ron stayed back.

"Don't go…" Liana cried.

"Just do me one favor…" Sirius croaked. "End this war…" And then his body slumped back against the wall, and Sirius Black was gone.

Liana's cries erupted as Ron knelt and held her. They stayed this way for a few moments until a voice was heard across the castle; Voldemort's voice was heard, telling everyone that if Liana went to the forest he would leave and there would be no one else harmed.

"You're not going." Ron said sternly.

Liana looked into his eyes. "Ron, I have to…"

"We'll get the last horcrux, and then he'll be mortal!" Ron exclaimed.

Liana shook her head. "There are two more horcruxes. I'm the seventh horcrux."

"No. Are you mad?" Ron said in disbelief. He shook his head. "No, that's not how that works! One lives while the other dies. You're the one that gets to live." He pleaded.

Liana fingered the snitch in her pocket. It was making more sense why Dumbledore gave it to her.

"Ron, I can't let anyone else die." She looked at Sirius's pale body as she stood up. "Just get Nagini… She's the other horcrux. Get her with the sword. Then Dumbledore will finish Voldemort; he has the Elder Wand… Tell my dad I'm sorry. Look after him."

"Liana, you can't sacrifice yourself!" Ron was looking emotional as he stood up as well. "You've been my best friend since we were eleven. I've known since you started Hogwart's Army that we are meant to be together, even if I was too careless to do something to make you mine."

"Hogwart's Army?" She didn't understand.

"Expecto Patronum!" Ron said as a yearling buck emerged from his wand. Liana truly made the connection now. She remembered the first time Ron cast his patronus and she wondered why that was his animal, but she remembered the way they looked at each other like no one else was in the room. Liana mustered the strength to cast a patronus as well. The yearling buck pranced around the Boat House with Liana's fawn.

When the patronuses faded away, they looked at each other like they could never muster the happiness again to cast another. "Ron, I have to."

Ron's eyes watered. She leaned to kiss him on the lips once again then she turned to leave.

"Li!"

She turned around.

"Li, I love you. I always have loved you; I always will love you."

Liana gave a weak smile. "Always, Ron. I will always love you."

Then she stepped towards the door and closer and closer to the Forbidden Forest. As she neared the forest she paused. She heard Voldemort's voice echo across the grounds once again. Her heart beat quicker as she knew she was close to death herself, like what she just saw happen to her beloved godfather.

Then she remembered something. She pulled the snitch out of her pocket. Liana didn't know how to open a snitch. She tried to pry it apart, but that was useless. Then she remembered how she had caught the snitch. Liana placed the snitch near her lips, and then she heard the clicking as the snitch opened up to reveal the Resurrection Stone.

Liana knew how to use the stone from growing up and listening to the story. Cautiously, she turned the stone over in her hands until glimmering shadows surrounded her. She looked to see her mother before her.

Lily held out her hand as Liana moved to her. But Liana's hand went right through her. It was as though Lily was a ghost. "You've been so brave, sweetheart. Your father and I are so proud of you."

Liana looked to see Sirius and Harry standing near her. "I'm sorry," she began, holding back tears. "I never wanted any of you to die for me. Harry, I'm sorry."

"Liana," Harry began. "I have no regrets what I died for…"

"Does it hurt?" She turned to Sirius.

"Easier than falling asleep." Sirius replied.

"You'll stay with me?" Liana asked.

"Until the end." Sirius replied.

"And he won't be able to see you?" She asked again.

"No, sweetheart." Lily replied.

"Stay close to me." Liana said, sounding fearful.

"Always…" Harry replied with the kind smile she once fell in love with.

Dropping the stone, to be forever lost on the forest floor, she moved towards where Voldemort resided.

3.

"Liana Evans, the girl who lived, has come to die." Voldemort's voice echoed in the dark forest as his followers laughed.

"No!" Hagrid shouted, but he was entwined and could not get to her.

Liana took a deep breath, she knew Voldemort was not going to wait long. He finally had her as his prey.

Voldemort raised his wand, "Avada Kedavra!"

Green light filled the forest, Liana felt herself falling to the ground, and then she slipped away…

4.

"Weasley!" Severus shouted as he saw Ron standing in a lone corridor. Severus had been searching for his daughter for some time now. Severus heard the pleas for her to enter the forest. His nerves were so tense that Severus felt ill.

Ron looked up at Severus. Ron's face of utter grief and distress, red puffy eyes, gave the information away.

"She didn't…" Severus gasped. Ron nodded, crying openly in front of Severus. Severus placed a hand on the wall for balance. When Lily was taken from him, he felt nothing but anger. Now that Liana was gone, he felt a soul crushing emptiness within him. He felt as though he was suffocating. He couldn't catch his breath in his own panic. Severus didn't even care that Ron was nearby and could see the Potion's Master breaking apart.

"What is that?" Ron muttered as he glanced out the window. He saw Hagrid emerging into the castle courtyard, carrying Liana.

When Severus looked down upon his dead daughter's body, then he felt the anger. He stormed down the stairs and into the courtyard, Ron followed.

Voldemort was exclaiming his win when Severus entered the area. "Liana Evans is dead!"

"Crucio!" Severus exclaimed as he moved past a sobbing McGonagall and Remus and cast his spell at Voldemort. However, Severus's mind was in too much distress to protect his thoughts well. Voldemort knew it was coming and he deterred the spell onto Severus.

Ron used this opportunity, he saw that Neville was holding the Sword of Gryffindor, Neville noticed Ron. He swiftly transferred the sword to Ron as Ron ran forward, and sliced Nagini in two parts.

Voldemort was distracted by the destruction of another horcrux. He stopped spelling Severus into torture.

"I will kill you, Weasley!" Voldemort ignored Severus, who was now standing nearby Ron. "Protecting your would have been son-in-law, Severus? How sweet… I'll just kill you both then. There is no reason for any fighting anymore. Anyone that disagrees with me will meet the same fate!"

"Avada—"

"Expelliarmus!"

Shocks escaped every mouth, many sighed great sighs of relief, as Liana leapt from Hagrid's arms and cast a spell at Voldemort. His wand went flying from his hand. Swiftly, Voldemort snatched the wand of one of his Death Eaters—Lucius Malfoy's. Liana ducked torture curses aimed at her.

She hadn't thought through when she would reappear to be alive. She didn't even know why Narcissa Malfoy claimed she was dead. Liana was breathing heavily on the floor of the forest when she realized nothing had happened to her after she was hit with a second killing curse by Voldemort.

It seemed the rest of The Order was taking over the battle. Liana felt a tug on her arm as she was slipped into the castle. Ron wrapped his arms around her and kissed her all over her cheeks. Liana placed a hand on Ron's cheek and pulled his face towards her until their lips met.

"How?" Ron stammered when they broke apart.

"I don't know. Nothing happened… But I can't feel any connection to his thoughts or emotions anymore. I think he killed his own horcrux. And brilliant job with the snake…"

Ron smiled. "It's just him now."

"It's just him now…" Liana repeated.

They turned to leave the castle, hand in hand. Just as they stepped out the doors they saw a green light. The green light went from Igor Karkaroff's wand into Dumbledore's chest.

"No!" Liana shouted as Dumbledore fell to the ground, his wand, the Elder Wand, flew upward and into the hand of Karkaroff. Liana's pulse quickened. She knew Ron was livid, seeing the murderer of his sister, Ginny… How he escaped Azkaban, Liana did not know. Her main focus was on who the new owner of the Elder Wand was… Liana hoped it was only the four Gryffindors that knew of the truth behind the story of The Three Brothers.

It was just moments later that Liana and Ron were no longer safely hidden in the doorway. Death Eaters heard Liana's shouts and spells flew at them. Ron pulled her back just as she missed a green spell coming in her direction.

The two fled the castle door and were in the courtyard full of action. Liana tried to look for her father. She couldn't see Severus. This worried Liana… She focused more on looking for him than her surroundings. She realized the error in her priorities when a rough hand jerked her, and she was swiftly pushed against the wall, Karkaroff in her face—his wand pointed at her throat. His hands on her shoulders, roughly he shoved her against the wall again with a great force.

"Miss Evans…" He sneered. Liana felt disgusted to have the murderer so close to her face. "I will—"

But Liana never figured out what Karkaroff intended to do. He dropped dead falling onto Liana, knocking her to her feet. Draco stood behind him, his wand pointed at him. Liana watched as the Elder Wand back flipped until it was caught by Draco.

Draco moved towards Liana, "Thanks…" She said, still on the ground as she pushed the body off of her.

Draco gave a quick smile, not wanting his actions to be seen by Death Eaters, who still thought of Draco as an ally. "Can I have my wand back?"

Liana entirely forgot it was Draco's wand she had been using since he rescued her away from Malfoy Manor. "Yeah, sure." Liana said. Draco quickly held a hand out to help her up. Liana felt a spark of energy as he pulled her up and they switched wands. Relief filled Liana. She now had the Elder Wand and Voldemort was mortal. It was time for the war to end.

Liana looked for Voldemort now. She tried to stay hidden. The Elder Wand tight in her grasp. She saw bodies on the ground, and that terrified her until she saw their faces—Lucius Malfoy was still and lifeless on the ground, along with Bellatrix Lestrange. Liana gasped when she saw Lavender Brown cold nearby. She hoped Sirius, Dumbledore and Lavender were the only casualties from the battle today.

There, she finally found Voldemort. He was across the courtyard, fighting Severus. Liana felt the urge to get over there. She knew if she didn't get there fast enough, Severus could be another casualty. Dodging spells and moving fast she raced until she shouted, "Tom!" Her wand pointed at the ready.

She saw the horror of Severus's face to see her throwing herself into danger.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Expelliarmus!"

The green light from Voldemort's wand hit the red light from Liana's wand. Many of the surrounding fights ceased to watch. Hermione, Ron and Neville all saw that Liana had the Elder Wand. They did not know how she achieved it, but they knew she was undefeatable with it.

Slowly the red moved into the green light until it was almost to the tip of Voldemort's wand. Crackling sounds were heard as the red light went into Voldemort's wand, and into Voldemort. A cry of defeat escaped his mouth as he started to fall apart into ash. Until there was no longer any Lord Voldemort remaining.

The war was over. That was it. Liana couldn't believe it. After a lifetime of living through war it was done and Voldemort was gone. Suddenly she felt arms around her, tight.

"Dad!" Liana said as she put her arms around him as well.

"He killed the horcrux in me. I just went along with him thinking I was dead."

"I'm sure I'll wake up tomorrow with an entire head of gray hair from today!" He still wasn't letting go of her. "Never pretend to me dead again!"

"I won't, Dad." He finally stopped squeezing her.

Severus pulled back from her and kissed her scar. "Liana, I have never been more proud of you."

"And neither have I…"

"Remus!" Liana leapt into his arms. She suddenly felt the burden of her godfather that was not there.

"Sirius is proud as well." Remus whispered into her ear.

Liana pulled back, just as she was seeing the Weasley twins corral the Death Eaters into binding for their transportation to Azkaban.

"Fred! George!"

They had their wand pointed at Draco.

"Ron told us what he did to get expelled." Said Fred.

"He's going to Azkaban where he belongs to rot now." Added George.

"This was wouldn't be over if it weren't for M—Draco, and Mrs. Malfoy, too." Liana stated, using Draco's first name for once. The twins looked at her confused.

Ron came over and added that it was the truth. The twins moved on. Liana rested her head on Ron's shoulder until she heard barking. Demon came running up to her. She fell to her knees and wrapped her arm around her dog. No more was Demon going to be scaring away Liana's demons. She was more than relieved to know he was okay.

She looked to Hermione and Neville. They were with Victor and Luna, consecutively. They all smiled back at her. McGonagall stopped binding Death Eaters with the twins to give Liana a relaxed expression. Everyone from The Order was peacefully speaking with each other, and all the Hogwart's students that fought in the battle sat with each other at ease, around the courtyard and into the castle.

Liana walked with Ron until they found a secluded hallway by an open window. She filled him in about what Draco had done, so she received the Elder Wand. Then she got an idea. Liana knew wands could not be repaired, but Liana wondered if the Elder Wand could make repairs that normal magic could not.

Liana still carried around the pieces of her old wand she had used since childhood. She never thought there was any chance at repairing the wand Bellatrix snapped, but she couldn't bear to not have her wand with her still.

Holding the pieces in one hand, she tapped it with the Elder Wand. She sighed with elation when her wand pieced itself back together. Ron saw how pleased she was at this.

"What are you going to do with the Elder Wand now?"

But he got his answer before Liana could reply. She snapped the wand in half, and then broke those two pieces apart many more times, throwing each piece out the window of the castle. Ron understood her notions for that. Liana added that the stone was never going to be found in the forest, but she would treasure her cloak and pass it on for generations.

Ron sat on the windowsill, Liana sat nearby him and leaned herself against his chest. Together they watched the sunset.

5.

Ron and Liana made their way down the Great Hall after the sun had set. As the entered, hands entwined, everyone clapped. The Great Hall was filled with students, professors and Order members. Demon was curled up by Severus's feet—at the Gryffindor Table with Remus and Tonks. The moods varied from happiness at the end of the war to grief at the loss of Sirius, Dumbledore and Lavender.

McGonagall left dinner early to make arrangements for Lavender's body to be returned to her parents. A funeral was being arranged for Sirius and Dumbledore at Hogwarts within a few days. It was unanimous that McGonagall was going to take over on the position as headmistress. She was the one managing everything to return Hogwarts as it was. She already instated the statues to work on repairs.

Liana sat back her father. The Potion's Master put an arm around her and held her tight, his last concern was that students were watching. "Our quarters in an hour." Severus said to her. Liana looked up at him confused. "So you haven't heard?" Severus said, the corners of his mouth turned up. "Headmistress McGonagall has offered me the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts. Professor Slughorn will continue teaching Potions, and we will hire a new Transfiguration professor."

The smile on Liana's face said it all. She squeezed Severus tightly. After Liana had eaten, much of her grief for Sirius was eased by seeing him with the Resurrection Stone, she looked around. However, she couldn't see Draco anywhere.

"Where is Draco?"

Severus's face looked astonished to hear Mr. Malfoy called by his first name from his daughter. "He is banned from Hogwart's grounds."

"That must be changed." Liana said eagerly. "This wouldn't be over if it wasn't for him. Not just saving us from Malfoy Manor, but he stopped Karkaroff from murdering me, and he gave me the Elder Wand, so I could finally fight Voldemort and not be defeated."

Severus smirked at his daughter, "I'll see what I can… I'll speak with Minerva tonight. And you need to take your apparition test."

"Dad, I've been apparating all over the globe for weeks."

"And so you should have no problem passing the exam, so that you are no longer popping in and out of places illegally."

Liana sighed, looking up at her dad's obsidian colored eyes as Severus kissed her scar.

The End.

A/N: It has been a journey over many years to complete this story. Thank you to everyone that has kept with me. I have been on since I was in eighth grade, and now I am starting graduate school this fall. I huge part of me is who I am through writing, and my female Harry characters have shaped who I have developed to be as well.

The story may go on but only by request of the readers. I will post individual requests as new stories, titled by what they consist of. Please message me or leave a review of what else you would like to see. Topics I could potentially write about consist of: the rest of their seventh year, graduation, careers, weddings, maybe children… Or anything you may think of. Thank you all again.
