"Where are we?" Ben asked looking around in awe. A few days after their final battle, the Eight Cyber Rangers were enjoying their vacation. Word of a new Power Ranger team had begun to surface, filling them with hope and joy.
"Maybe we'll meet them someday," Becca had mused.
"This is weird." James whispered to his friends. The eight were floating in space above the Earth. The sight of their planet filled them all with an indescribable feeling; it was massive yet light, it scared them, but it comforted them as well.
"Welcome, Rangers."
They all turned around to see a young man wearing silver robes. He had crystal tinted eyes and his skin was a nice shade of tan. His hair was a deep, dark brown that ended with a rat-tail style.
"Who're you?" Oliver asked.
"I am Zordon of Eltar."
"Zordon..." Clara repeated. "Wait, I know you. You were the mentor for Earth's first Rangers."
"I was."
"But you sacrificed yourself to save the Universe. How're you here?"
"My spirit lives on in all that is good. I have brought you all here just as I had with every Earth team."
"Why?" Teddy asked skeptically.
"To tell you of a special power."
"Special power?" TK echoed. "What kind of power?"
"It's a power that only a select few Ranger teams have managed to unlock. It is dubbed the 'Grand Legacy.' 22 Earth Ranger teams and 10 non-Earth Ranger teams have unlocked this Greater Power. You are the 23rd team on Earth and the 33rd team in the Universe to achieve this power.
"What is it for?" Daniel pressed.
"In a few years time, a most powerful Empire will descend upon Earth for the second time in the planet's history. It will be repelled, but it will return. On its third return, it will have devoured every other planet in the Universe, leaving Earth as its last target."
"No!" Becca half-yelled. "That's terrible! What do we do?"
Zordon remained unshaken. "A new team of Rangers will rise to defend the planet. However, they will need guidance from previous Rangers. You Rangers who unlocked your Grand Legacy will test them and, with time, grant them your Legacy itself. They will use these collected Legacies and change the Universe in unimaginable ways.
"We accept." Oliver responded after exchanging looks with his team.
"Thank you. You will not remember this meeting; it will only remain inside of your minds as a distant dream. May the Power protect you, Rangers."
A/N: This is just a little plot device development for Skyward Force. Also, I wanted Cyber Fusion to end on 50 chapters, haha.
