Author's Note: So, college tours... Uuugh... I get nervous about them. Also, my grandpa had his aortic valve replaced. He's doing good now. ^^; So yeah, sorry I'm a bit behind schedule...

To say Sadiq was fuming was an understatement; he was furious. "If you were anyone else I would slap you so hard right now," he growled, looking down at the little nation in his arms.
Normally, this situation would've made Turkey very happy, except, Japan was an eleven-year-old kid, and he appeared to be either drugged, really tired, or just confused. He snorted; it was probably all three.
He turned his head to see those kids fumbling to carry Lovino, and he turned to go help them. Sadiq was strong, he could handle both nations even if they were their normal sizes. He was glad for his mask. He was certain the expression he was wearing was less than appropriate for a school full of kids where half of them thought he was a Death Eater. He let out a long sigh.
"You kids know any abandoned classrooms?" Sadiq asked finally.
The Golden Trio nodded silently, then Kiku spoke up. "I can walk… I'm not injured."
The Turk gave a strained smile that his mask couldn't come close to hiding. "Are you going to run?" Not that he thought the other was in any condition to even try.
"… No," Kiku finally said, letting out a relieved sigh once Turkey let him down.
Hermione came up to him once he was down, helping him keep up with the group as they made their way to whichever classroom was nearest.
"Are you okay?" she asked, keeping her voice at a low mumble. The silence was too tense, and she felt like she had seen something she really shouldn't've. The brunette was more concerned for Harry- he looked more stressed than either her or Ron, so something was definitely wrong.
"Gomenasai…" The small boy shook his head heavily, refusing to continue the subject.
Her brows furrowed, but she continued walking with him. Something was very off…
"Kiku?!" A familiar voice called, panicked. Everyone turned to Luna in surprise.
The Japanese reacted slower than he normally would have. "… Luna-chan, how did you-?"
She pulled him into a hug. "Later, okay? Right after you explain what all of those waves were about," the grey-eyed girl whispered.
Nodding, Kiku was about to agree verbally when he was interrupted by Hermione.
"Hello, Luna… I'm not sure if now is the best time…" She was obviously conflicted. Luna smiled dreamily and placed her hand on Hermione's shoulder.
"You look stressed," she said soothingly. "Maybe we should have one of those muggle 'girls' nights' you told us about?"
Hermione gave a stressed smile. "Sure… That would be nice."
Turkey looked at them, questioning them behind his mask. He looked to Luna. "Hey, kiddo, what're you-?"
She let out a long sigh. "Sadiq Adnan, from Turkey," she replied dreamily, frowning when she felt him tense, his waves speeding up.
"How'd you know I'm from-?"
"Kiku told me about you, Lovino the Italian, and Herakles the Greek before." She smiled. "I'm a friend; please think of me as one."
The Japanese walked up to Turkey and patted his arm. "She knows. I told her."
"You better explain yourself." The masked man growled, picking him up again, looking at the group of kids. "Well? I don't know where the abandoned classrooms are- go on." He waved his hand, almost shooing them off.
Sadiq sighed, taking off the sweatshirt he had decided to wear that day and setting it down under Lovino's head, trying to keep him comfortable so he wouldn't have to face an angry Italian once the other woke up. "Wow the brat must've hit him hard."
Kiku looked over, then at the ground, finding it interesting. He could hear Luna trying to keep the mood light with Hermione- still discussing their plans for a girls' night. He bit down on the inside of his cheek, trying to sort through what had happened back there. Kiku didn't want to explain himself. He would only become a larger burden, having already dragged several others down with him.
Sitting down on the cool, stone floor, the small island nation let out a long sigh. "S-Sa-?"
"First tell me why you told a human who and what you are," Sadiq growled, slipping into his native tongue like earlier.
"I had to due to some issues I am facing that I would rather not discuss right now."
Sadiq shifted his gaze to the kids, who were looking at them in obvious curiosity. "What's wrong with right now? They don't speak Turkish." He sent Kiku a frown. "I can help, Japan. Let me help you."
"I am not interested in your help, and I do not wish for any of you to get further involved." Kiku replied bluntly. "I wish for your, Lovino-kun's, and Herakles-san's safety. I cannot allow you all to simply barge in an-"
"Like hell! Kiku, you have to understand- none of us trust England. You should've come to one of us before him."
"And who are you to dictate my decisions?" Kiku asked, his tone growing cold. "I made my choice- I want you three to leave- immediately." The Japanese leaned back as Sadiq approached. "Don't even think of touching me or I will scream."
The Turk felt his words sting him, and he backed away partially. "Kiku… Please, just listen for a moment. We're here because we care for you, damn it, and we want to help. Let us help you; we've already gotten this far in." Sadiq looked at the group of kids, knowing that Kiku was at least thinking it over.
"Oi, you three- don'tcha have class or something?"
Hermione straightened. "No. This is our break hour."
"Then go and have some fun, all right?" Turkey replied, giving them a smile. "I just need to talk with Kiku a little while longer."
The Japanese perked up at his name, snapping out of his thoughts. "Oh, ah… I actually would like to rest some." He was more awake than earlier but he was still troubled, and some part of him just wanted to pass out and forget. Just forget.
No thoughts at all.
Kiku blinked, looking up at Sadiq. "Ah- I'm sorry, what was that?" The Turk had responded while he was trying to find out what was making him so tired.
"I said 'in a little bit,' all right?" he repeated, arching a brow high above his white mask.
Kiku gave a short nod, watching as the three Gryffindors left the room, obviously hesitant. He smiled faintly at Luna. "I don't mind if you hear this- you probably should since I will need to tell you about it later." The blonde straightened slightly.
"So then… It was him, I'm assuming?"
Nodding, Kiku turned his head to Sadiq. "I have an idea…" Kiku looked for his magic sack, a little discomforted when he couldn't find it immediately. "Eh…?" Finally he found it- the tie had swung the lightweight bag behind him and was pressed flat along his robes.
"What the hell are you doing?" Sadiq asked, putting it bluntly.
"Kiku, are you pulling out the Pensieve?"
He nodded.
Hermione looked between the other two Gryffindors. "What all happened back at the potions room?" She had been too far from the door to hear everything like she was certain Harry had.
"I'm not really sure, but apparently Snape knows something about Kiku that we don't. He brought up red eyes, and something about protecting me… But what from?" Harry rubbed his forehead with his palm. "I mean…"
"And there's the question of why Honda is doing it then," Ron, who was lucky enough to have been close enough to hear everything, added. "I'd like to know why Snape thinks the bloke is able to help out. I'd also like to know what the Professor is planning."
Hermione slowly nodded. "Right. We should look over some things that we might've missed." She pulled out some parchment, along with the single pen she had brought with her from home. The brunette started writing in her neat penmanship, listing things aloud.
"Well, he can see weird things… then… wandless… magic…"
"Also he's adopted to that Arthur guy… He speaks Japanese, English, and I think it's safe to say that was Turkish back there if Luna was right…" Harry added.
"Hates Malfoy- quick reflexes. Very resourceful… Hey, do you think he'd be good at Quidditch?" Ron asked, then frowned when the others looked at him odd. "What? It's an honest question… All right… Later…"
"Oh! He also up and disappears every now and then!" Hermione exclaimed, hand catching up with the information they've gathered. "Like when his friends, Vladimir and Lukas, come to pick him up."
Ron looked over the list. "You know… Professor Quirrell was afraid of that Vlad guy. More so than his usual fear."
Harry's brows furrowed. "Yeah… Part of me wishes he was here so we could find out why…"
"Harry, it seems that 'why' is a very common question with Kiku…" Hermione muttered under her breath.
"Besides, Snape isn't dumb as much as I wish he was," the red-head groaned. "Snape probably was right when he said Quirrell could've been willing to drug a student. Not everyone just disappears after a troll attack. Someone might've found out he did it and he went into hiding."
Hermione nodded, writing some more things down. "… Do you think we should look into his adoptive family? I know there are some old registries of all wizards… We could see some family history. Maybe they're Dark wizards?" The brunette looked between the two. "I could look into that- we would need permission to look into higher level books regarding the Dark Arts to find out anything about red eyes…"
"First the whole Gringotts thing, then the professor's disappearance, and now this…" Harry looked at his friends. "I think that we need to be a lot more careful…" He looked out the window at the forest. "I honestly don't know what to think about all of this…"
Hermione nodded, looking at him silently before turning to the list. "I think that… things will only continue to become problematic if we don't figure them out soon."
"Yeah, but why us?" Ron asked. "Why couldn't have all of these random things be someone else's problem?"
Kiku, Sadiq, and Luna finally surfaced from the Pensieve, the Turk staring at the small Japanese boy.
"So that is what has been going on this whole time?" he asked quietly, eyes wide. "So then… England's actually trying to help you?" Sadiq frowned slightly.
"Then what about that claim on your back," Lovino said, startling everyone else in the room. "I woke up just before you three hopped out of that… memory pot- sorry, just can't remember what the damned thing is called."
"It's a pensieve," Luna chimed.
"… Right…" Muddy green eyes met Kiku's brown ones. "But still. That English bastard put that claim on you, didn't he?"
Kiku frowned, shaking his head. "No. That is a claim, but not from anything remotely human," the Japanese muttered. "It's from a kitsune, but I can't remember how I got it…"
Lovino raised a brow. "… I see."
Turkey stepped between them. "Hey, Romano, don't push him- trust me." He winked at Japan. "Sorry about earlier Jappy. Seems like you were just starting to calm down when we came and messed things up." He patted his lap, sitting down. "Did you want to take that nap quickly? I can explain about Kuro."
Kiku nodded. "Yes, please. Sorry for being a burde-en?" he stiffened when the larger, tan man picked him up and dragged him over to rest his head in his lap.
"You never are, Kiku, you never are." Turkey patted the 'boy' on the head. "Just go to sleep."
Lovino grimaced, face a little more red than it had been before. "Yeah… right." He looked at the floor.
Luna arched a brow. "Hm…"
Kiku's face was pink, but he slowly nodded, starting to drift off to sleep. His body still felt heavy from earlier, and it was a little too easy to fall asleep in the other's lap.
Turkey grinned, looking at Romano. "Jealous?"
And Lovino proved his talent at mimicking a tomato and turned red. "N-No! You basta-"
"Ah, ah, ah," Sadiq tutted, waggling his finger at him. "Don't wake him now."
"… Are you what Hermione told me about? Homosexuals?" Luna asked, tilting her head and looking back and forth.
Sadiq chuckled. "Maybe I'll tell you when you're older."
Lovino looked about as tomato-red as he ever did.
And, well... Luna certainly is catching onto their feelings faster than Kiku is... Also, I think Greece got lost...
Eh, his cats will find his friends, I'm sure.
"Poor Mr. Greece, at least your cats love you."-Kiku Honda, season three, I think?
