The woman pulled out a knife and slashed open Sheyla's arm before disappearing, dropping the knife. Sheyla let out a soft gasp before falling over, face-first, onto the floor.
"Shey!" Sammy cried and ran over to her friend. "No, no Shey!" Sammy flipped Sheyla over.
"Why did she cut her?" Maka asked.
"Shey!" Sammy shouted and shook Sheyla lightly. "Wake up Shey, wake up!" She demanded. "You get your ass up right now!"
"She just..." Lance stood, frozen in shock and stared at the two girls.
"Sheyla..." Paul whimpered.
"Shey...Shey please." Sammy pleaded.
"Sammy..." Sheyla croaked, opening her eyes and staring at Sammy with a gray, pale look. "Sammy..."
"Shey, are you okay?"
"Sammy." Sheyla slowly reached for the knife next to her.
"Sam!" Lance shouted as Sheyla grabbed the knife and stabbed towards Sammy. Sammy caught Sheyla's hand, sitting there in a struggle for a second before Sammy threw the arm back and rolled away from the girl.
"You need to take her madness away!" Kid ordered.
"I...I can't." Sammy said. "I tried and nothing happened!"
"That doesn't make any sense!" Kid said.
"You're telling me!" Sammy snapped.
"Sammy..." Sheyla slowly got up, still holding the knife.
"She's not doing anything." Michelle whispered after a second of silence.
"This is...different." Lance added.
"Is she going insane?" Haley asked.
"She's already there, that's what was inside of the needle." Kid stated.
"What do we do?" JJ asked.
"I'll take her down." Black-Star offered from the top of a crate.
"Don't-"
"Yahoo!" Black-Star yelled and jumped on top of Sheyla.
"Get. Off." Sheyla grunted and with a flash of blue light, threw Black-Star across the room.
"How?" Black-Star grunted in pain as he pulled himself out of the wall.
"She has your power." Paul said.
"My power?"
"She can control her wavelength like you can." Kid explained.
"She's still not as powerful as me!" Black-Star announced and jumped on Sheyla again. Sheyla and Black-Star locked arms and struggled to push the other over.
"Everyone's more powerful than you." Sheyla said in a harsh voice. "Strength mean nothing if you're too stupid to use it properly."
"Shut up!"
"That's something you should consider, especially since every word that comes out is worth less than a pile of dog shit!" Black-Star's grip weakened in shock and Sheyla pushed him away again.
"We can do the dog pile, it's worked on everyone else." Haley suggested. "She's not strong enough to push all of us off."
"Hopefully." JJ muttered.
"Alright, go!" Kid ordered and everyone but Lance and Sammy, jumped on top of Sheyla and brought her down to the ground.
"Sam..." Lance went over to the girl and knelt next to her. "Sam you have to-"
"What if I can't?" Sammy asked, staring at the ground. "What if I fail her like Kevin and she dies?" She looked up at Lance with wide eyes. "She can't die Lancey...I can't lose her."
"I know...I know." Lance sighed and patted the girl's back. "That's why you have to do it, right now."
"But..."
"Come on." Lance dragged Sammy to her feet. "She will die if you don't help."
"Shey..." Sammy said and took off, pushing her friends aside to reach Sheyla.
"I should have done it myself." Lance muttered to himself before going to help the others.
"Are you going to be able to do it?" JJ asked, struggling with Sheyla's leg, gasping in pain a second later as his soul was shocked.
"I'm gonna try." Sammy stated and sat on Sheyla's chest.
"You're not going to succeed, you always fail!" Sheyla shouted at Sammy. "You can never do anything right, never!" Sammy kept a straight face and put her hands on both sides of Sheyla's head. "Should we ask Kevin, oh wait, he's dead! Because of you! You only had one job Sam and you failed, like everything else in your life. You failed!"
"Stop it Shey!" Sammy shouted. Everyone else shouted when a strong blast hit everyone and tossed them off of Sheyla and only Sammy stay on Sheyla, hands still on her head.
"Sammy...what are you doing?" Sheyla asked. "Did...Did I?"
"Yeah..." Sammy said, breathless. "You did."
"Did I hurt anyone, in anyway?" Sammy hesitated, pulling her hands away.
"No, you didn't." She said and helped Sheyla to her feet.
"I think I bruised my ass." Paul muttered as he got off the ground. "And if one person makes a 'Saturday night' joke, I'm kicking you to the moon."
"I don't think any of us were planning to." Haley said.
"I was." Michelle chuckled weakly.
"When did she get so damn strong?" Vickii said, the only one still laying on the floor.
"Madness tends to do that." Kid said, patting dirt off of himself.
"Can I go mad?"
"You're already there." JJ said with a chuckle.
"I need to tell father." Kid said to himself and pulled out his phone. "No signal."
"I don't have any either." Michelle said. The others checked their phones and all shook their heads.
"Is there a mirror here?" Kid asked Kilik.
"I think there's one in that crate." Kilik pointed at a large crate.
"A kishin-wannabe isn't gonna pop out of it, is it?" Sheyla asked. "I'm not in the mood to deal with that again."
"None of us are." Kid said and went over to the crate.
"Can I write the number?" JJ asked as Kid pulled out a long mirror from the crate.
"Sure, whatever." Kid mumbled and leaned the mirror against a wall.
"Awesome!" JJ stood in front of the mirror, breathed on it and wrote '42-42-564' on the mirror.
"Hello, hello." Lord Death greeted as he appeared in the mirror.
"Greeting father." Kid pushed JJ out of the way.
"What's up?" The shinigami asked, tilting his head.
"Sheyla went mad." Kid stated.
"What did you say to her?"
"Not that kind of mad, father." Kid sighed.
"Oh, is everyone okay?"
"Yes, no one's seriously hurt."
"I'm bleeding!" Sheyla cried when she finally noticed her cut. "How long have I been bleeding!?"
"It actually stopped just seconds after the woman cut you." Maka stated.
"It took you thins long to notice the blood?" Vickii asked.
"Come to the DWMA as soon as you can, Stein wants to talk with all of you." Lord Death waved his large hand before disappearing.
"Great, back to the cold." JJ whimpered.
