Geno led Fawful and Star to an arena on the Comet Observatory.

Geno had been convinced to teach Star magic.

Fawful, having had his fair share of magic, chose to sit on the sidelines.

Geno motioned to the dummy, and put Star's hand on it. "Everything begins with your stance. And remember…"

A little burst of energy formed on the end of their hands, and Geno moved it around.

You do it for him,

He let go,and Star was shocked.

She was doing it.

And you would do it again.

He kept his hand on her shoulder.

Protege.

You'd do it for her.

She looked at him, at his wording of it.

That is to say, You'll do it for him.

Fawful smiled, as Geno put her in stance.

Keep your stance wide.

She adjusted herself to Geno's liking.

Keep your body lowered.

She was able to get it to spark and improved as if she had done this before.

As you're moving forwards, balance is the key!

The next day, they kept at it.

Geno hasn't gotten to sparing, but he is working on her concentration.

Right foot.

They held magic at each other, moving back and forth.

Left foot.

It was to show to him that she had her eyes straight.

Now move even faster.

Geno ushered her backwards, and he lightly scolded when she looked back at her feet.

And when you're moving backwards, keep your eyes on me.

Star stood in front of the dummy, and it was ready for her.

She recited what she had learned.

Keep my stance wide.

Geno nodded.

Yes.

It charged at her, and she blocked it's blow.

Keep my body lowered.

She nearly fell, as the magic colors clashed.

As I'm moving forwards-

Geno scolded.

Concentrate! Don't you want him to live!

At this, Fawful was becoming nervous.

Star adjusted herself, as Magic grazed her loose hair.

Right foot.

She rolled out of the way, to her knees.

Left foot,

Geno spread his arms, proud of her tactic.

Yes! Or put your whole body into it!

Fawful held his cloak, as he stated.

Everything you have, everything you are, you have to give.

Star and Fawful sat on the ground, as Geno gestured to the stars, as they made a pattern.

On the battlefield,

It showed Geno's past.

He was fighting by someone's side, running past a battlefield.

Where everything is chaos.

Magic tipped his fingers.

His everything was in the flames.

And you have nothing but the way you feel, a strategy and a sword.

He saw a tall figure, and it must've been important, for he slid in front of her, and blocked a blow that was sure to hit her.

That figure was Rosalina.

You just think about the life you'll have together after the war!

They went back to normal, and they looked at Geno.

And You do it for her, that's how you know you can win.

He charged at the dummy, and quickly took it down.

You do it for her, that is to say, You'd do it for him.

Star was determined, Fawful was indecisive.

Star, after the next day, opened her hand.

It freaking burned.

Geno knelt next to her, and held her hand.

His hands were splintered.

Deep down, you know, you weren't built for fighting.

He grabbed a roll of bandages, and some aloe vera from a box.

He tended to her hand, and she thought the bandages were cool.

But that doesn't mean you're not prepared to try!

Fawful ran up to them, with orange slices and a juice pouch.

Star grinned at him, and took the pouch.

What they don't know, is your real advantage,

Geno crossed his arms, and pointed upwards.

When you live for someone, you're prepared to die.

At that, Star set down the juice and Fawful flinched.

Star stared at the dummy-opponent.

Her hair was kept back in a braid,

Deep down, I know that I'm just a human,

Geno nodded.

True.

Her magic glew on her hands.

But I know that I can draw my sword and fight!

Fawful was startled by how she acted.

She would never act like this.

She used her magic to expertly block the dummy.

With my short existence,

Geno was looking at her progress, proudly.

Good.

She jumped in the air, when she brought her disc down on the dummy.

I can make a difference,

Geno grinned.

Yes, excellent!

She had her arm up, like she was going to stab.

The dummy took the bait, and she swept her leg under it, and pointed at them.

I can be there for him, I can be his knight.

They stood, back to back.

Star grinned, as she took her stance.

I can do it for him!

Geno joined her,

You'd do it for her!

He looked at her.

Okay, now do that again.

She nodded.

Yes, sir!

Geno knelt to Fawful.

You'd do it for, and now you say,

She knelt to him too.

I'd do it for him.
