Life With Jack Frost:

Teen Guardian Parents

Chapter 51: The Real Monster

You were lying in bed. Your view was getting darker and darker. You were feeling dizzy and weak at the same time. You do know what was exactly happening but, you were convincing yourself that it was not.

Tears were rolling down your pale cheeks but, you hardly recognize it. The yetis guarding were in panic, they don't know what to do. Suddenly, there was a loud voice. An upgraded sleigh just got transported to its rightful parking lot. Phil hurriedly told North what was happening to you. Even if he didn't understand it, Jack Frost flew to your room. He entered. His eyes widened with fear.

"Snowflake…" he whispered so low, he was the only one who heard it.

You were back to your old self, the way you looked when you were just a teenage girl only…. paler.

"I- I'm running out of time…" you stammered. Jack ran and knelt next to your bed. He held your hand and kissed it.

"No. Please. Just hold on a little bit longer." He begged and tears were rushing down his pretty blue eyes now. "Please…"

You smiled, "I'm fine… Just a little tired, that's all." You whispered weakly. You tried to tighten your grin on Jack's hand but you can't. You were getting weaker every second.

The others came in one by one. They had the same faces Jack had, expression full of despair and fear.

It's our midterms exam next week! _ Have to review first :P I'll upload as soon as the exam week ended :) Always take care guys ^_^

Ashen walked closer and you smiled weakly at her.

"I'm sorry Snowflake." She said, crying. "I wish I could help. I know my dad can… but… but…" she stammered.

"This is not your fault sweetie." You whispered heartily. "I know you did your best."

Suddenly, everything went dark and cold. Everyone got surprised and all of them drew their weapons, including you son. The feeling of darkness and cold was familiar, Pitch.

"Are you not yet convinced of what you have done!" shouted the young winter spirit. "I'm the one you want! So why don't you punish me? Not them!" he added with more rage. The cold of Jack and Pitch were mixing now. It was like there was a snow storm going on inside the room. You were breathing heavily and fortunately, Jef noticed it. He ran to you and hugged you.

"Please hold on… mom… hold on." He whispered.

You got surprised. You looked into his eyes and he smiled. He didn't show grief. He showed faith in you and that's where you got your strength, even if it was not that too much strength.

"You know?" you asked with a feeling of amazement and joy.

"Yes. I heard you and Jack talking about me. I heard you guys call me your son." He explained, still with a smile on his cute face.

"Stop this now!" shouted the young guardian and just like he said, everything stopped.

They could see Pitch standing not far away from them. He was inside the room. His eyes were dark now. Not like his original dark golden eyes but black, full black eyes.

"Dad?" said Ashen.

Pitch looked at her with such rage. Ashen realized that was not his dad. That was not the dad he was spending times with earlier. This Pitch, standing in front of them, felt like a monster to her. Pitch said nothing. He just looked at his daughter with no feelings at all.

He lifted a finger at her and whispered something. Suddenly, there was a nightmare attacking her. It was too fast that none of them saw it hit Ashen, knocking her down to the floor.

Everyone froze. Pitch made an evil laugh but, that was also not his voice laughing. It was something different; evil and unforgiving.

"Ashen!" shouted Jef and he quickly ran to her side. He held her and tried to hear her heartbeat. Thankfully, she's still alive just unconscious.

"That's your daughter! Your own daughter!" shouted the Tooth Fairy. She attacked but nothing worked. Pitch smiled an evil, monstrous grin. He swerved all of them, North, Bunnymund, Sandy, Tooth and Jack away and dark black sand individually embraced them tightly. They were trying to get free but, nothing seemed to work. Nudging, kicking… nothing; And every time they tried to move, the black were getting tighter and tighter.

"Now… I will kill you…" said the devil Pitch and was now walking towards his unconscious daughter. "It is going to be fun if you die because of a nightmare." He added.

"NO!" said Jef and stood between Pitch and Ashen. He was just a few steps away from the Bogeyman. He was trembling but he was not letting Pitch to hurt his best friend.

"You have to go through me first!" said Jef.

"Get- get away Jef!" you cried but he was not moving from his spot.

"Dammit." Cursed the young guardian who was still trying to get free from the black sand. "Get away! Get away from him!"

Pitch laughed and took out a long sword made of his dark sand. The end of the sword was terrifyingly sharp and deadly. Jef's eyes widened but still, he doesn't want to move.

"Then I'll just take you out first!" shouted Pitch.

Pitch swerved his sword. Jef closed his eyes. Everyone was shouting. You were crying. Jef's life flashed before your eyes. Then…

Pitch's sword was now full of blood.
