Lenny's POV
I laid on the floor as I listened to the radio as my sister read her 'American Chillers' book on her bed, I wasn't that much of a fan of reading books... Especially in the summer. But, she always told me that she only reads on the last day of summer so our language teacher won't go on and on about how none of the students read or anything about reading being important. Right after I finished my thoughts, one of my favorite bands came on the air. I started singing along right away.
If I had to
I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask
Would you like that?
Would you like that?
And I don't mind
If you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask
Do you like that?
Do you like that?
No!
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.
Try to find out what makes you tick.
As I lie down
Sore and sick.
Do you like that?
Do you like that?
There's a fine line between love and hate.
And I don't mind.
Just let me say that
I like that
I like that
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
So tell me how it should be.
Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love.
Die for anyone
What have I become?
Something's getting in the way.
Something's just about to break.
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
As I burn another page,
As I look the other way.
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane.
I started laughing after Lanes thrown her book at me like Maka always does to Soul in Soul Eater. "Shut it baka. I was trying to read. Now, give me back my book so I can finish alright? I'm close to the end." I rolled my eyes and I handed the book back to her. "Fine, but the next time you throw it at me, I'm taking it." My sister started snickering. "What?" She just kept snickering. "We sound like Maka and Soul... Even though your a perfect Crona at times." I rolled my eyes again and smiled. "Whatever you say bookworm.." She shrugged. "They're good weapons when you throw them at people you hate sure... but when you can't do anything with them, they're pretty much just a horror devise." I started laughing lightly knowing that she was right. She went back to reading afterwords as I decided to switch from the radio to my Breaking Benjamin CD. I switched to one of my favorite songs and started to sing along with Ben Burnley as he sang.
Here I stand
Helpless and left for dead
Close your eyes
So many days gone by
Easy to find what's wrong
Harder to find what's right
I believe in you, I can show you
That I can see right through all your empty lies
I won't stay long in this world so wrong
Say goodbye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Don't you dare look at him in the eye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Trembling
Crawling across my skin
Feeling your cold dead eyes
Stealing the life of mine
I believe in you, I can show you
That I can see right through all your empty lies
I won't last long in this world so wrong
Say goodbye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Don't you dare look at him in the eye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Hold on, hold on
Say goodbye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Don't you dare look at him in the eye
As we dance with the Devil tonight
Hold on, hold on
Goodbye
Right away after the song Lane thrown her book at me. "Alright, you're not getting this back this time Lane." She smiled. "I knew that... That's why I finished it first." She got up and started walking to the door. "Smart move Lane, smart move"
