Delsin had no idea where Caterina got her energy from, but every so often he would catch a glimpse of her doing what she did best; and that was wiping the floor with the D.U.P. soldiers. She was doing a great job of taking them out quickly and efficiently, especially the ones that were chasing Delsin around; trying to stop him from advancing up the tower. Caterina had initially started her attack by jumping off the building they had been stood on then quite nearly flattening a soldier down below as she landed on him. Delsin had noticed that she was barely using her powers and was relying on her strength and skill alone to take out the DUPES. It was like watching the badass heroine in an action film.

Delsin had to admit though that he was being pretty badass himself too. He didn't want any stupid DUPE soldier taking him down before he got to Augustine so he did his best not to get too cocky or careless. He could take them all out no problem with extremely powerful attacks as he had various sources he could drain smoke from. The easiest was to fire upon one of the various ammunition crates that were lying around and if he timed it right; he could take out a few soldiers who were unlucky to have been caught in the blast, which left plenty of smoking debris for Delsin to drain. Both he and Caterina were forces to be reckoned with right now and it seemed like they had gone through dozens of D.U.P. soldiers already, but they carried on coming and coming. It got to the point where Caterina and Delsin were beginning to feel a little overwhelmed.

'DELSIN!' Caterina screamed at him. 'You gotta get up there I'll keep these arseholes off your back!'

'I don't think so Cat, I'm not leaving you to handle all of this on your own!'

'You won't be leaving her on her own!'

Delsin and Cat looked up to see Fetch descending down at them from the air in a purple and magenta neon haze.

'Oh my God Fetch I'm so glad you're okay.' Cat exclaimed. The two women high fived each other and instantly fell in to place with each other as they began their attacks on the oncoming flurry of fresh DUPES.

'So this means you're along for the ride?' Delsin asked Fetch.

'You kiddin'? My two favourite people in the world in a knock-down, drag-out? Wouldn't miss it for the world.'

Fetch looked around on the platform they were and found one DUPE soldier covering over an air-vent with concrete; they knew how to stop Delsin with his current smoke power advancing up the tower. Fetch quickly blasted a neon beam at the soldier then aimed it at the concrete; blasting it away from the vent.

'More smoke toys for ya!'

'Go Delsin go now!' Caterina ordered. 'We'll keep them busy as best we can.'

Delsin nodded at her and dashed on up through the vent to the next concrete platform that surrounded the tower. He instantly started attacking the wave of soldiers that advanced toward him, remembering to save some for Cat and Fetch as he dashed around the platform looking for a way to get up to the next. He soon saw another vent that had yet again been covered in concrete was surrounded by the last two remaining soldiers on that level. Delsin charged toward the soldiers, firing rapidly at them with what little energy he had left as he needed to recharge again. His attack stunned the soldiers but didn't do as much damage as he expected, meaning he would have to get up close to them to attack with his chain. Delsin was soon stopped in his tracks as both Cat and Fetch beat him quite literally to the punch. The two women appeared from out of nowhere and landed on the two D.U.P. soldiers with an almighty thud; taking them out instantly. Delsin was glad Cat and Fetch had joined him, he would have been a bit overwhelmed with the sheer amount of soldiers that flooded from the building.

'Delsin!' Caterina screamed. 'Just take out the guys you need to and get your arse up there! We'll take care of the rest!'

Delsin spun round to see Caterina swinging what appeared to be a huge ice mallet, almost comedic in its sheer size and shape. She swung the ice mallet at the head of one of the soldiers who had charged toward her and knocked him clean out and sent him flying over the edge of the concrete platform. Delsin knew that Caterina was very well versed in her Cryokinesis powers but he wondered just exactly how much sometimes. She had the ability to form delicate snowflakes like it was nothing but she could also form huge offensive weapons in the blink of an eye.

Delsin shook himself back to reality as his mind was about to start pondering if Caterina could form huge ice sculptures without having to carve anything and readied himself to get up to the next level. He couldn't let his mind wander or get distracted at a time like this. By using the nearby vent that Fetch had quickly unblocked for him; Delsin propelled himself up in to the air and after a short amount of climbing, he soon landed on the next platform. It was strange though, he noticed that there weren't any soldiers on this level, however he did hear a loud droning noise in the distance.

'Hey Cat! Fetch! This'd be a good time for some back up!'

Two huge helicopters swooped high in to the air directly in front of Delsin. The unmistakable sound of the guns readying to fire filled the air with their targeting lasers seeking out Delsin who had no idea what to do or anywhere to hide behind.

'ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE!'

'Eugene…man. You sure know how to level a playing field.'

Eugen had arrived in his huge almost Godlike alternative form, firing a bright blue laser beam at the two helicopters; preventing them from even getting a chance to fire their missiles at Delsin. The helicopters began smoking and soon erupted in to flames causing them to spin to the ground below.

'IT'S GOOD TO HAVE FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES.' Eugene's voice boomed. Cat and Fetch made their way up to the level that Delsin was on and started cheering for Eugene who had just summoned a horde of his angels and set them on another wave of DUPE soldiers. The whole crew was here now and they had the strength and will to see this all through to the end. Caterina, Fetch and now Eugene would make sure that Delsin got to his final showdown with Augustine without any more bother from her soldiers. The soldiers were however piling out of the building and from down below in huge numbers and were making everything so much more difficult. But what made things even more difficult for Delsin was the fact that he couldn't even get up on to the top part of the building at all. There were no vents for him to smoke dash through and there was nothing for him to climb up.

Cat, Fetch and Eugene could get up there no problem, but Delsin's smoke abilities had now shown what its limit was. He thought that Eugene could possibly lift him up on to the top of the building's roof but Delsin soon found a way up there. After running to the other side of the platform he was on, Delsin found a video satellite. He drained its energy within a split second, changing his powers in an instant. He soon managed to make his way up to the roof only to be faced with another problem; there was no way inside. Fetch soon had that sorted as she cranked up her Neon laser to full power and weakened the thick metal roof with a series of deep cuts and dents.

The D.U.P. soldiers had begun their attack again and threw everything they had at the group of conduits in an attempt to stop them from getting inside. Caterina and Eugene put their powers at full strength to get rid of as many soldiers as they could; keeping them away from Fetch as she lasered her way through the roof. As soon as Delsin had the opportunity to bust through the roof, he gained as much air as possible and slammed his way through the weakened metal.
