A/N: Purely out of boredom and it has something to do with what I'm taking for exam. So I'll be writing this with a twist ;).

Cultural Distance between Malaysia and England
[Part 1]
Power Distance
This thing is referring to the hierarchy on who is more superior. A higher score means more respect to the hierarchy.
Malaysia
In Malaysia, there's a hierarchy. A hierarchy on who's standing at the very top. Who should be respected the most? The King? The Idiots? The Fools? The Jokers? The survey stated that Malaysia respect the hierarchy more and never dares to challenge it…
"Agree that no one dares to challenge the hierarchy" said KL. "Because Akak controlled my allowance."
"So Malaysia is at the top?"
KL nodded. "In my hierarchy. Because my credit card has been confiscated as well aside from my allowance after an accidental use which cause her lots of debt on credit cards."
Singapore raised an eyebrow "How can you even get a mistake for that?"
KL, with tears flowing down his cheeks replied "No, not since I use her name in that bet with Hong Kong. That Maki and Nico figure are so far away from me now…"
The Singaporean simply patted the other on the back, full of sympathy for the other, he never tried that nor does he dare. The least he could do, is to pat the state, the feels starting to come now…
Though Malaysia still has respect towards the royal family (even if it's not obvious) but her respect goes towards normal good Samaritans and honest businessmen.
England
England got a low score for that one but that doesn't mean he doesn't respect his superiors (as in the royal family), though the respect has been limited to very few people…or nations or siblings.
"Mon lapin~" Especially towards a certain French frog who lives nearby and is older than him by who knows how long.
A scowl from England immediately greeted France as he leaps into the meeting room with his usual 'l'amour' aura. Spreading love is a must for this Frenchman, pissing England off is…depending on the situation, might be an optional choice.
"What do you want frog?" England asked, a scowl on his face.
France faked a hurt by clutching his heart area "I'm hurt Mon ami, I only came to visit my favourite Mon lapin like always~. I just want to know what are you up to~. But I guess you must have been cooking up a witch's brew as usual~"
"As if your snails are any better French frog."
Malaysia's Business Cultures
Meet and Greet
When meeting with a Malaysian business partner, wait for the other to extend their hand for a handshake. As Malaysia consists of many races, be aware that Malay women are not really expected to shake hands with men, but in some cases, they do not mind. However, don't do the first approach.
"Hi there, I'm Maya Salena. Nice to meet you!" Maya (Malaysia) greeted, extending her hand for a handshake.
The Japanese man hesitantly shook hands with the young Malaysian lady and introduced himself "Kiku Honda (Japan). A pleasure to meet you as well."
Maya beamed "Great! Now, let me show you around, can?"
Oh yes, Manglish, a slip of a tongue. Manglish is rarely used unless when talking to very close family and friends, while with foreign business partners, they will use fluent English.
Kiku nodded.
Business meetings
Do not schedule anything on Friday as it is reserved for Muslim prayers. On other days, it is fine but if your business partner is late or anything, don't be surprise, it is part of their 'culture' after all.
Try to be punctual or arrive five minutes early. But if you're late, try to have a valid reason and reasons like traffic jam and all won't go pass them at all.
"Ah sorry, sorry, got caught up with something earlier." Maya laughed casually as she entered the office.
"It is fine." Kiku reassured, though internally, he's questioning the Malaysian culture of being late. However, it has no point since he is in Malaysia and will have to go along with anything.
A/N: Finals near, can't really write much. Read and review. Requests are accepted (just PM) but will be done in mid-May only due to my exams. Goodbye for now as I'm going to offline and study like no tomorrow.
