Here's some Hikaru/Haruhi for LucyXHeartfiliaXFan! Enjoy!

Disaster

Hikaru entered the Host Club, feeling…off. He told himself that the feeling was because his twin wasn't by his side like usual but he knew the real reason. The date he had been on yesterday had tanked. A lot.

He walked to his couch and sat down, avoiding looking at Haruhi. After a couple seconds, Tamaki appeared on the couch beside him after sprinting there. "Where's Hikaru?"

"I'm Hikaru," Hikaru corrected dryly. "Kaoru's at home, sick."

"Then why aren't you with him?" Tamaki asked, his face scrunched up as he tried to reason out why a twin would be without the other.

"Why would I?" Hikaru asked with a grin as he put up his feet on the table. "We are separate people, you know."

Tamaki pouted and called, "Mommy! Kaoru's being mean to me!"

Hikaru growled, "I told you! I'm Hikaru!"

Kyoya glanced up from his laptop with an annoyed expression. "I find nothing wrong with what he has said." He adjusted his glasses. "Although Hikaru shouldn't host alone. The appeal of the twins is that they come in a pair and benefit off of each other. Since one is not here…"

"Yes!" Tamaki shouted. "We need to pair Hikaru up with another host!"

"Who, Tama-chan?" Honey asked as he bounded up behind Hikaru.

Tamaki tapped his chin. "Perhaps I will! The twins' princesses would surely gain from my compliments." His eyes grew hazed as he entered his dream world. "And then perhaps my daughter will notice how sweet I am and what a wonderful father I am."

"Nonsense." Kyoya sighed. "According to my calculations, Haruhi paired with Hikaru will bring the most profit."

Hikaru blushed. "Huh?"

"Haruhi?" Kyoya called. "Do you mind?"

Haruhi glanced up from her book. "Mind what, Senpai?"

"Pairing with Hikaru."

"Will my debt be reduced?"

Kyoya smirked. "By five percent."

Haruhi closed her book and set it down on the table. "I suppose I wouldn't mind too much." She stood up and smiled softly at Hikaru.

Oh man…

"See you later, my lovely princesses. I weep at the thought of spending a night without the sight of your beautiful faces."

Several more girls swooned from Tamaki's words as Kyoya shut the doors. "Tama-chan, why do the girls always swoon when you say that stuff to them?"

"Because they love me, Honey-senpai. Girls adore it when they are flattered," Tamaki cooed.

Hikaru rolled his eyes and chuckled quietly. Haruhi looked up from her book. "What?" she asked.

"Tamaki's saying that all girls love to be flattered." Hikaru rolled his eyes. "I think he overlooked you."

Haruhi sighed. "I guess so."

Haruhi returned to her book and Hikaru cleared his throat nervously. "So Haruhi," he started, his whole body seeming to be on fire. "I'm sorry about our date yesterday. I didn't think it would go so badly."

Haruhi glanced up from her book. "You didn't think it would go so badly?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Okay, so it was a disaster," Hikaru said with his hands raised defensively. "But I can make it up to you."

"Make it up to me? Really now?"

Hikaru nodded. "Yeah!"

Haruhi shook her head and placed her book down beside her. She leaned forward and said, "Hikaru, first you were late. Then, you forgot to book the reservation. We ran into one of your rejected lovers who dumped lemonade on me. You cussed at her and we got thrown out of the restaurant. Then, when we went to go home, you forgot to tell the limo driver to pick us up so we were standing in the pouring rain for fifteen minutes. Plus, Kaoru got sick you left me with the limo driver to race home to Kaoru."

Hikaru sank lower and lower in his chair as Haruhi counted off on her fingers how many things went wrong. "Yeah…"

"And you can make that all up to me?"

"What if I take you on a 'Haruhi date?'"

Haruhi sat back on the couch, her face confused. "A 'Haruhi date?' I swear, if you're making fun of me…"

"I'm not! I'm not!" Hikaru pleaded. "Just hear me out."

Haruhi crossed her arms. "Fine."

"How about I cook you a dinner, at my house, and we watch a movie," Hikaru suggested.

Haruhi tilted her head and contemplated the idea. "Casual?"

"Completely casual," Hikaru nodded.

Haruhi sighed and smiled. "I guess another chance wouldn't be too bad."

Sorry, this took so long to update. But I have one request, READ ALL OF THIS A/N. PLEASE. JUST THIS ONE TIME. I have two ideas to discuss with you readers.

1) The vote for my stories is now Hika/Haru-9 and Kyo/Haru-8. Just updating you because I haven't done that in a while. Mori/Haru is in the lead with 11 but I'm like 7(ish) chapters away from finishing that one, so I will complete that story first before starting the others.

2) I was thinking, would any of you readers be interested in a drabble series where you suggest a pairing and a song, not a word? Just a thought I had. And if so, what anime?
