It wasn't every day that Oliver or any of the members of Team Arrow called a movie night but Oliver had decided that everyone had been working so hard so they more than deserved a good break.

So Oliver, Felicity, Diggle, Lyla, Roy, Thea, Laurel and Tommy were all sitting in the Queen's mansion foyer in front of the TV set where The Avengers (courtesy of both Felicity and Thea) was playing.

Roy and Thea were laid out under Thea's duvet from upstairs on the floor, beside Tommy and Laurel who were sat up against an armchair in one another's arms. Diggle and Lyla sat on the other armchair with Lyla in Diggle's lap as she was steadily drifting off to sleep (she claims it to be the pregnancy hormones). Nyssa and Sara laid out on one of the three seater sofas, Sara's feet in Nyssa's lap as she too drifted between the regions of consciousness, her assassin watching over her like her own personal guardian and truth be told, they were one another's guardians.

This left Oliver and Felicity on the opposite three seater sofa but where one- or at first known as Felicity -thought may be succumbed by awkwardness and longing wasn't surprisingly as Oliver, shocking the rest of the team that were still awake, made himself at home as he slept with his head resting on Felicity's lap, one arm buried beneath her thigh so he could hold himself against her.

The one part that made Felicity smile inwardly as she trailed her fingers through his scalp was that nearing the end of the movie, Oliver had shifted himself so that he now laid facing Felicity, his smile not dropping from his face.

Before he too fell asleep wrapped around his own girlfriend, Tommy laid Felicity's duvet over Oliver, who without faltering took in a deep sniff of the material and purred, curling himself up more to the woman Laurel draped Oliver's duvet over Felicity and making sure to tuck it around Oliver's head. Laughing silently at the couple wrapped up in the other's bedding, and not making a sound of protest against it either, they took a photo that they were sure to use for future use at their wedding in the, hopefully, not so distant future.

If anyone noticed how Oliver changed the background on his phone and laptop, nobody said a word.

The one thing he hated more than anything was being ill, it never ended well for him, that is to say until a certain blonde popped round the mansion with a flask of hot soup her grandmother always made for her when she was little and more effective than any medicine, a radiant smile.

"I feel like I just went through a complete round of mirakuru soldiers and lost" he grumbled into his pillow as Felicity switched on the TV in his room and brought over the soup for him, slipping beside his current position on his bed but making sure to remain above the covers.

"Don't worry, you'll feel better in the morning, besides remember this bug has actually saved you from the slaughter that would've been that meeting with Bruce Wayne"

A reminder of the thought of being stranded with none other than his old college enemy Bruce Wayne for company made him shudder at the thought of experiencing that alone.

"Have I ever told you how much I love this bug?" his smile melted her heart and caused a heartfelt laugh to bubble up in her throat, not bothering to cover it up.

"See, all you have to do is see things under a different light and it could make things much better in the process" the gift of a genuinely happy Felicity Smoak was more than a perfect reason to brighten his day whatever doubts or troubles it may have.

"You're remarkable Miss Smoak"

"Well, thank you for remarking on it Mr Queen, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to butter me up for something" damn it, nothing ever gets past her and apparently that thought must've been plastered across her face for Felicity just simply smiled in response.

"…could you spend the night with me, I always sleep better when you're around" snuggling down further into his pillow, Felicity paused and thought it for a moment before shrugging and settling herself down beside him.

"Of course I can Oliver, what are friends for" bypassing the word 'friends', Oliver gladly moved his position over to the left so he could rest his head atop Felicity's chest, his forehead the sole section of skin exposed to the world.

"…being platonic, unless one of them wanted more"

"Shut up and go to sleep Oliver, we'll talk about you and elevators in the morning" pushing on through, Felicity couldn't help the huge smile that plastered itself across her face at the truth behind the matter.

How in the world was either of them going to stay platonic with one another?

"Looks like someone's out for the count" Diggle remarked, gesturing to Oliver who was currently in a deep sleep with his head resting against the back of his seat.

They had been in London for a mission and had decided to take the time to complete some QC business, without a certain Isabitch this time, and Oliver had been worked pretty hard to the core as he hadn't been able to stop moving since the moment their plane had landed about a week ago.

Glancing beside her at the man in question, Felicity couldn't help but flinch at the angle his head was thrown in and how much of a crick in the neck he was going to get when the plane landed in about five hours or tomorrow morning.

Considering the pain in the arse of a man seated beside her she rolled her eyes at him, making Diggle chuckle before too leaning back in his seat of the private jet and closing his eyes, and wrapped her arm around Oliver's broad shoulders and started to tip him towards her, Oliver willingly going with the movement after relaxed under her touch.

Shifting herself to get into the most comfortable position, Felicity crossed her legs on top of the seat opposite her while Oliver too shifted, pushing himself closer to her and sighing almost in content. Ignoring the thought flying around in her mind, Felicity carefully reached onto the table beside her and opened one of the game apps on her tablet.

Time to beat a few levels in Candy Crush and mostly avoid thinking of the sleeping Queen on her shoulder, if only he were dancing instead, now that would be hilarious.

When they landed, Oliver thanked her and promised to get her the bottle of red wine she more than rightfully deserved, well two since he had forgotten about the one from the 'scavenger hunt' she had helped him win.

Pacing around the VIP section of the hospital wing where Thea currently laid after her car crash where it had been a rather close call when a truck had broken through one of the red lights and crashed through into the empty passenger side of Thea's car, merely only knocking her out cold.

Roy had called him, completely freaking out about what had happened, and thus sending Oliver into a crazy haze whilst speeding, as much as the law allowed him to, towards the hospital, texting Diggle and Felicity in the process.

His mind hadn't stopped racing with 'what if' scenarios since he had received Roy's phone call about an hour and a half ago.

Thea had received a graze on her forehead, a broken arm and sprained ankle so now all that was left to do was to wait for Thea to wake up.

"Oliver!" Felicity's voice and iconic sound of high heels were enough to break Oliver out of the confines of his mind and towards the blonde, immediately intercepting her and tugging her in for a hug, the need to feel some sort of comfort of human contact pounding through Oliver's veins, Felicity receiving the message loud and clear so promptly returning the embrace and causing Oliver to bury his face in her lavender-scented locks.

"What happened?" Diggle asked Roy, who had just come out of the minor injuries section where he had just had his hand wrapped from punching one of the hospital walls, his fist breaking the first layer of plaster and encasing itself in his own blood, distracting himself from waiting for his girlfriend to wake up along with her brother, who still hadn't released Felicity from his hold.

"Come on, let's take a seat before your legs end up giving out from the amount of pacing you've mostly likely been doing, you too Roy, sit your arse down, there's no use in exhausting yourself out. She's going to need you both when she wakes up and what use are you going to be if you're both too tired?" Felicity's maternal skills coming into play as she persuaded both men to finally sit down and stay there, receiving grateful looks from the hospital staff.

After a while just sitting there beside Felicity, Oliver slowly lowered himself down so he now laid against the couch and leaned his head on Felicity' thigh, his left hand reaching to his shoulder to hold Felicity's in a firm grip.

"It's okay Oliver, I'll wake you if there's anything new or when she wakes up alright, just sleep. Same to you too Roy" taking her free hand and tangling her fingers with Roy's, Felicity resumed tracking the floral designs on the ceiling as Roy too lowered his head onto her shoulder, the tears evident from the wetness of her shoulder.

"She'll be okay, I promise you" whispering to both men as Diggle watched her with knowing eyes that whenever they're in a crisis, they could always trust Felicity to go to for comfort and she would always gladly watch their backs.

Breathing deeply, Felicity collapsed onto Oliver's chest as they both tangled their sweaty and very naked limbs together after their latest make out session, Oliver gazing down at Felicity with adoration only present for her.

"I love you" whispering into her dishevelled hair that he couldn't help but smile smugly at, Oliver stroked his hand lovingly down her back, revelling in the delightful shiver that embraced her body, he couldn't help but smile at the fact that no matter after spending a year and a half actually officially together Oliver could still make Felicity feel things that some experience solely during the first night together.

"…love you too" murmuring into the crook of his neck, causing his skin to tingle with the heat radiating from her body, Oliver brought her all the more closer, worshipping what now was his.

Some things never change and why would he want them to, he had everything he ever could've wanted…except one thing and that was currently burning a hole in the pocket of his jacket, he just hoped she said yes to spending the rest of her life with him because since he was a selfish and possessive bugger, once she was his he wouldn't be letting her go without one hell of a fight.

Besides if there was one thing he was good at doing, besides fighting of course, was fighting for what mattered to him most in the world.

Because to him, Felicity was his everything, and there was nothing he would want to change that.
