"Hey, look who it is! My two favorite munchkins!" McGee shouted as he opened his apartment door, hugging each of the toddlers as they ran at him in full force. As soon as they were done hugging him, they invited themselves in and took off towards Delilah.

"Ziva," McGee smiled, looking her up and down to admire the red, ruffled dress she had on for her date tonight. "You look beautiful as always." He kissed her cheek, gesturing for her to come inside.

"Aw, Ziva! You look stunning!" Delilah stated as a fact, running up to hug her Israeli friend while McGee shut the door.

"Thank you both and thank you for watching them for a bit." Ziva spoke in a hush tone, not knowing whether she wanted to go through with anything tonight.

"So, who is he?" Delilah asked, wanting to know who could've changed her whole aspect on the situation.

Ziva sighed, "He's a doctor. Well, he was actually my doctor years ago. I ran into him the other day at the grocery store with the kids."

"Wait. You mean-" The realization dawned on McGee, remembering the story about the creepy doctor that had the hots for Ziva that Tony had told him about years ago.

"Yes," Ziva admitted, staring down at the gray carpet.

"You know him?!" Delilah turned around, asking McGee from afar.

"No, but I heard a lot about him in the past." He rolled his eyes, bending over to tickle Isabella's stomach as she watched the adult conversation with her brows furrowed together. "You look exactly like your mother when you do that." He laughed.

Ty was busy in the corner, studying the Xbox games that McGee had and deciding which ones he would help his uncle play while his mother was gone.

Ziva sighed again, throwing her head back in an exhausted manner. "I do not know if I want to do this. I do not think that I am ready."

"Why did you say yes if you're not ready?" Delilah questioned, stepping closer to the brunette leaning on the back of her and McGee's couch.

"I do not know… I just felt like maybe it would help me get over everything and help me get ready for a fresh start. But the more I think about it, the more I do not know…" The Israeli crossed her arms over her chest in a defensive manner.

"Hey, there are no rules about saying you have to go out on a date to move on…" Delilah tried to reason with her, feeling bad for the war of emotions her friend was going through.

"I know, but I just wish I had some way of knowing if he has moved on or not." Ziva admitted, eyes still glued to the carpet.

"Do you want the truth? Or do you want me to make something up?" McGee questioned, receiving a glance from Ziva that made him wish he could beat the crap out of Tony.

"Truth…" She answered, biting her lip and fighting back the tears that she knew were going to escape when she knew what she would be hearing.

"I hate to tell you this. I really do, Ziva. But I think you'll change your mind about not wanting to go on this date when you hear this…" McGee started off saying, coming closer to the two women in his apartment. "But that woman and him I guess, are seeing each other now." Ziva broke down in sobs and McGee grabbed a hold of her. "I know, it's a shitty thing and I hate for you to be finding out about it. But, if he can move on, there's no reason that you can't either. You're better than him and you will find someone to heal you." He rubbed circles along her back as she tried quietly crying, avoiding scaring her kids.

Delilah rubbed her shoulders, leaning against her and whispering comforting words. She had never dealt with a situation like this, let alone have a friend go through it, so she tried her best to be a rock that Ziva would need. McGee and her, together would do whatever was needed to help the beautiful Ziva get back to a normal lifestyle and move on with her kids from the asshole who betrayed them.

"I do not want anyone else…" Ziva whispered, her head buried in McGee's shoulder.

"I know, but why don't you just try going out for a bit tonight to get your mind off anything. If you want, I'll go with you and tell him to keep it friendly?" McGee inquired. "I'll even sit out on tine parking lot if he tries to get handsy."

Ziva pulled back away from his hold, her eyes twinkling from the gesture of her friend…no, brother. "McGee," She giggled through her sniffles. "I am a trained assassin. I think I can handle killing someone."

McGee laughed, "Well, I didn't say I would kill him. I just would rough him up a bit for touching you. I'll leave the killing to you, like always."

Ziva smiled, "You're the best nerd brother." Hugging him tightly.

"Hey!" McGee teased.

"Why don't we go touch up your makeup before you go?" Delilah asked, gently prying Ziva away from McGee before she could be late for her date.

"Okay…" Ziva nodded, following Delilah into her and McGee's bedroom, towards the bathroom.

"Hey, you guys want to see my new figurines?" McGee questioned to the two little kids staring at them, realizing they saw their mother crying.

"Ya!" Isabella clapped, her purple stuffed unicorn never dropping from her hands.

In the bathroom, Delilah helped Ziva retouch her eye makeup. Her mascara and eye liner remnants on her cheeks from her tear drops.

"I look like such a mess," Ziva sighed, staring at her reflection in the mirror as Delilah wiped off the black smudges.

"Oh my goodness, shut up! You're drop dead gorgeous." Delilah acknowledged, applying her mascara over again.

"Apparently not if my husband just leaves." Her tone was hushed and her eyes closed as Delilah started to work on her eye liner.

"He's a fucking fool, Ziva. Forget about him. Any guy would be tripping over themselves to fall in love with you." Delilah worked to wing her eyeliner on the corners of her eyes.

As soon as she was done with her eyeliner, Ziva opened her eyes and gasped. "Why didn't you guys tell me?!"

"What?" Delilah looked at her friend oddly through the mirror.

"This!" Ziva grabbed her left hand and pointed towards the shiny, diamond ring that lay on Delilah's ring finger.

"Oh, that…." Delilah sighed, pulling her hand away from Ziva's. "We don't have to talk about it. I don't want you to be upset-" She started, but was interrupted by Ziva.

"Upset? Delilah! It is wonderful and so beautiful! I'm so happy for you guys!" She hugged Delilah tightly.

"Thank you, Ziva." Delilah smiled at her and she started to walk out of the bathroom, back towards McGee and the kids.

"McGee!"

Ziva's accent was thicker than usual from being upset and McGee smiled, helping Isabella twist one of the figures arms. "What?"

"Why didn't you tell me?!" She hit him playfully with her black clutch multiple times.

"Tell…you…what?!" He tried to dodge the hits from her, but the ninja was just too good,

"That you proposed!" She threw her hands up, wondering why no one was going to bother to tell her the big news.

"OH, that." McGee shrugged, continuing to help Isabella fight her brother in a battle of action figurines.

Delilah emerged from the bedroom, "Because we didn't want you to feel upset. I told you this! After everything that went on, we knew you wouldn't want to hear about marriage."

Ziva scoffed, "What happened to me has nothing to do with the happiness that both of you will have! Besides, I'm fine!"

"Fine?!" McGee and Delilah shouted at the same time.

"Ziva, you just cried on my shoulder for fifteen minutes. That's not 'fine'." He made air quotes with his fingers.

"Okay, so, I had a bit of a setback. It happens when things become about him. But, I am fine. I promise and I am so happy for the both of you!" She clasped her hands together, "Did you guys figure out a date yet?"

"Uh...yeah, we have." McGee admitted.

"When?!" Ziva asked, pulling Delilah towards her into an embrace.

"Next month." Delilah smiled.

"Next month?! God, that's quick." Ziva looked at them both as they stared at each other. "Wait. What are you hiding?

"We're not…" McGee shrugged again causing Ziva's heel to hit his back and make him wince.

"I would swear right now, but my kids are here. That is a lie! You two gave each other that look and trust me, I spent fifteen years giving Tony that look!" Ziva put her hands on her hips, glaring at Delilah until she spilled the truth.

"Okay, fine! We're having a baby!" Delilah bit her lip nervously, awaiting Ziva's response.

"Oh my god, that is amazing!" Ziva cheered, "Did you guys hear that? You're gonna have a little cousin!" She yelled towards Ty and Isabella who looked up at her and smiled.

"Yes, we're very excited. But no more talk about that yet! You're gonna be late for your date, missy!" Delilah laughed, pushing Ziva towards the door.

"I do not have to be there! We can stay and talk about baby plans because I know McGee does not have a clue what he will be doing!" Ziva insisted, trying not to leave and go out on the date that she was trying to forget about.

"Nonsense! We have plenty of time to teach him how to be a Dad. He'll get tons of practice tonight while we wait for you to get home. Now, go out and go have some fun!" Delilah pushed Ziva out of the door, hugging her.

"I'm so happy for you guys. Congratulations!" Ziva kissed her cheek, getting another shove from Delilah. "Okay, Okay, I'm going. I love you Ty and Isabella!" She glared at Delilah. "Just let me give them a hug and a kiss?"

"Fine," Delilah moved aside so Ziva could run inside again and say goodbye to her children.
