"Alright, let him go," Leonardo says to the clearly shocked Purple Dragons. "You don't want any trouble."

"We on the other hand, do," Raphael cuts in.

"Woah, those guys were serious!" one of the Dragons says. "There really are giant turtles!"

"You've heard of us?" Michelangelo says, a smile starting to grow. "Dudes, we're famous!"

Spike taps his shoulder. "That's bad," she whispers.

"Oh, right," Michelangelo says sheepishly.

"Whatever you are, this neighborhood is ours," the leader of the Dragons says. "So why don't you slither back to the ocean you came from?"

"Actually, we're freshwater turtles," Donatello says. "I expect we're derived from the diamond backed terrapin, but it's possible we're-"

"Get 'em!" The Dragons leader shouts.

April and Spike glance at each other from behind the turtles.

"What do we do?" April asks.

"Bust a window?" Spike suggests.

April frowns.

"Fine."

One guy, holding an axe, charges Leonardo. The turtle dodges, then ducks, making way for Michelangelo to jump over him, dealing a spinning double kick to their assailant, knocking him into the wall.

April drops to her hands and knees and scuttles through the chaos, Spike behind her, dodging flying bodies.

The guy rebounds, and charges Michelangelo, who ducks out of the way for Raphael to handle.

Raphael dodges the wild swings, then seemingly just flicks the man in the nose, pushing him back. The man clutches his face in pain.

Michelangelo and Donatello take the big guy, knocking him over, and beating him back and forth.

April scrambles around the counter and finds Mr. Murakami, unconscious. She kneels and points to a Purple Dragon behind Michelangelo, holding the hammer.

Spike nods. "I got it." She pulls her belt off, actually a metal chain, spins it, and whips it. It cracks the guy in the chest, knocking him backward. Michelangelo doesn't even blink.

April stares at her friend. "Where, how, and why?"

"I practice outside our apartment building just in case," Spike explains.

The guy gets back up. April grabs a lid of a pan and throws it, knocking the Dragon back down.

"Thanks April!" Michelangelo shouts, finally looking up.

"You're welcome!"

"I'm here too," Spike mutters.

She and April help Mr. Murakami to his feet and lead him out of the store, ducking flying bowls.

Donatello ducks two punches before bringing his leg up to send his attacker sailing.

Leonardo steadily advances on his guy, barely noticing the swings the Dragon is attempting. The Dragon tries again. Leonardo blocks, sending the knife flying, and punches him twice. Leonardo sets up and kicks out.

The guy flies across the counter.

Leonardo holds the guy up, preparing for another punch, but then lets him go.

"Get out of here," Leonardo growls.

The Dragon leader grabs his dazed henchmen. "C'mon, let's go." He turns to face the turtles again. "This ain't over, Greenie!"
