Prompt #60 – Fans
Anyone who knew Hana Inuzuka was aware of the fact that she despised fan clubs. The main reason for this was because they could never shut up and followed people around like stalkers, even into her place of safety; the library. However, there was one fan club that annoyed her more than any other: Itachi Uchiha's fan club.
Hana knew that Itachi wasn't a bad person and never requested for a fan club to be made for him, but his fans wouldn't leave him alone and even followed him into the library where she was trying to work. The fans hid behind bookshelves, trying to catch glimpses of the Uchiha prodigy and it distracted and annoyed Hana to no end. How could she get any work done when she kept seeing pairs of eyes through bookshelves and heard giggling every time the Uchiha moved?
When Hana saw the Uchiha enter the library the next day, she was surprised when she noticed that he was heading towards her instead of his usual study table. Itachi was the definition of cool, calm and collected as he made his way towards the brunet and the girl could only wonder what he could possibly want from her.
"I wanted to apologise for always interrupting your study time because of those fan girls. I have asked them to be quiet if they enter the library again, but they can be very stubborn. I hope they haven't caused too much of a distraction." With that said, Itachi gave Hana a small smile and made his way to his usual study table. Hana stared after him in amazement; she hadn't expected the Uchiha to be such a polite and kind person. The brunet smiled and wondered if maybe those fan clubs weren't so completely bad; after all, they were the reason for Hana's and Itachi's first ever conversation.
