A/N: Greetings fanfiction! For those of you following the story, thanks for sticking with it :) KTstoriesandstuff could write an epic tale of decontaminating her husband's former man cave, but would rather spend her free time writing the epic tale of Team Nerds! We have 3 more chapters and an epilogue to go! Enjoy!

"What do you mean, I can't go to the Capitol?" Katniss yelped as Coin gave her a steely look across the conference table.

"I mean, you have not attended any training and you are currently recovering from wounds received during your last propo." Beetee and Wiress exchanged glances before focusing on Coin's exchange with her Mockingjay. Katniss was reacting exactly how Coin predicted she would react.

"But - I'm the Mockingjay!" Katniss protested.

"Well, she is right." Plutarch said. "Filming her in action would help the revolution immensely."

"As long as she doesn't burst any more internal organs." Haymitch remarked sarcastically as he sipped out a flask. The entire room rolled their eyes at his remark as Katniss glared daggers at her mentor.

"Shut up, Haymitch." Katniss hissed before turning to President Coin. "I know I haven't been training, but I will work hard if I can begin right away. The Teslas made my weapons to be used in combat." Coin looked at the inventors who nodded in reply.

"Very well. You will train with the newest recruits and I will evaluate your progress with reports from your commanding officer." Coin replied before dismissing The Mockingjay.

"She will train hard. You pissed her off enough, Madame President. She'll show you her Girl on Fire stuff all the way to the Presidential mansion." Haymitch responded.

"Why would she go to the Presidential Mansion?" Coin asked warily.

"To kill Snow, of course." Beetee piped up before his wife smacked his arm. "She knows he is the root cause of her troubles. Not the Games themselves, but the leader of Panem who allows them to continue." Wiress nodded. Gale had visited the Teslas compartment several times and all three had discussed the matter in their compartment, but Wiress had warned Beetee about saying anything at meetings. After 16 years of marriage, Beetee took her advice about 90% of the time.

"And once Snow is gone?" Coin asked. Wiress shot Beetee a look that said, 'Well, you brought it up, explain.'

"Kid will probably go back to District Twelve, hunt in the woods, solve her boy problems on her own, I guess." Beetee and Wiress snorted down laughter at Haymitch's brusque prediction.

"I'm sure she would be willing to contribute to the new leadership that has aided her Mockingjay efforts." Plutarch pointed out as Coin's eyes narrowed.

"The girl works for me, not the other way around!" Coin spat furious that everyone seemed to take Katniss' side rather than look to her for absolute leadership.

With all due respect, Madame President, Katniss has been her own authority for so long - raising her sister, surviving two Games, that she doesn't see authority as being crucial to her success. However, she understands the sacrifices others have made for her - including this administration. She would want to compensate those who helped her and I believe that will result in her taking a role offered to her after the revolution that suits her experience and skills. Wiress added with the aid of her tablet. She saw Coin purse her lips together while staring at The Mockingjay's vacant chair.

"Her name has been in with Squad 451 since Heavensbee formed the idea." Coin said. "We will use the group of soldier Victors to shoot propos on the edges of combat zones. She is not to know of the mission until she has completed training and received her official military assignment documents." Coin said.

"Madame President," Plutarch began before clearing his throat as a look of unease passed across his face. "What about – ah – your secondary plan regarding Katniss in the squad?"

"I will not negotiate with you on that, Plutarch Heavensbee." Coin replied coldly, leaning toward him with her steely eyes boring into him like icicles. "That girl is in my hands. She is mine. Meeting adjourned!" The Commander in Chief re-read her notes from the meeting, oblivious to the shaken pale-faced leaders and victors exiting the conference room in fearful silence.

As Beetee maneuvered his wheelchair down the hallway past Command, he heard a squealing grinding sound of gears. "Beetee!" Wiress gasped before pushing him into the familiar computer room.

"Wiress, I think this just needs some oil." Beetee protested. "The dining hall opens in five minutes!"

"No, don't you hear the gear grinding due to the misfit –" Wiress began before parking Beetee next to his computer at the front of the room. "Now sit –" He sighed as he eased himself into the familiar office chair. Wiress hummed as she removed a panel from the motor under Beetee's wheelchair. Out of habit, Beetee logged into his computer. "WIRESS!" He yelped seeing the ten emails she had sent on her tablet during the meeting. "Are you going to rebuild the whole engine down there?" He asked as a cover for his outburst.

"Well – you use it at top speed –" Wiress began which was true. Their neighbors were accustomed to Wiress admonishing Beetee for cruising down the hallways at maximum speed in his chair.

"To keep up with my girl." Beetee quipped before Wiress stood up and pinched his cheek.

"Well, at least this happened here so you can work while I fix it –" Wiress' noise with her tools as well as her singing drowned out Beetee's typing and thinking out loud. Her emailed instructions to her husband included hacking into General Boggs' files to find his field notes from the propos as well as orders from Coin. The next email requested communication between Coin and Dr. Aurelius. Wiress looked into her husband's face periodically. She responded to his expressions of shock and disgust with looks of understanding. After replacing the faulty gear she had installed a week after they returned from District Two, she oiled the engine and replaced the panel. "I'm done."

"Good. Me too." Beetee said before wiping traces of his work from the computer and logging off. He smiled at Wiress telling her the files she requested were on her tablet in an encrypted location. "Aaah – much better." He chuckled as he powered his chair. Indeed, it needed the routine maintenance. "I love you, dear." The Teslas shared a sound kiss before returning to their compartment.

"So, no one can hear us?" Plutarch asked worriedly several days after their meeting with Coin. He, Cressida, Fulvia, Castor, and Pollux crowded in a small maintenance room with the Teslas.

"No one can. And if we are found –" Wiress began as she fiddled with an audio/video surveillance scrambler in her pocket.

"We can say we're training the camera crew in hiding in small spaces. Which reminds me, I need to give the three of you these." Beetee added before handing Cressida and the Smith twins their multi-tools. "One for each of you. If you are stuck in an electrical or maintenance closet, you can remove panels off different things or cut wires if needed. Now boys –" he addressed Castor and Pollux Smith who grinned at each other while examining their tools. "Only take apart equipment as a last resort. Understood?" The young men nodded as Beetee nodded firmly at them.

"So, the files are true?" Plutarch asked shocked as he glanced at Wiress' tablet which displayed a memo between Coin and Boggs.

"Afraid so." Beetee said heavily. "Coin wants to use Katniss to film propos in the Capitol. Then she wants Peeta to kill her."

"Why?" Plutarch asked perplexed. "She's the cornerstone of the revolution."

"The country will be angry at her death – They know Peeta has been used by the Capitol – their anger will increase against Snow –" Wiress began.

"And the country will call for his demise. At Coin's hands as she takes the presidency for herself." Beetee finished. "Wiress saw this coming for a while. We are pawns in her game as well."

"So she thinks." Cressida pointed out. "We are on the side of The Mockingjay. Of freedom. We'll stick up for her out there." Castor and Pollux nodded eagerly.

"Suppose we should get back to being District Thirteen's model citizens." Beetee said before everyone exited the room. "Speaking of – we're needed in Command, dear." Wiress nodded looking at her buzzing communicuff.

"Greetings, Teslas." General Boggs said smiling. "I have a project for you two." He handed the Teslas a round device with various buttons.

"The holo." Wiress said smiling.

"What?" Beetee asked as his wife smiled.

"It's a digital map of the Capitol. You can program maps that overlay to show the streets, the traffic, pods –"

"Pretty much the whole infrastructure of the Capitol." General Boggs finished. "Beetee, your wife sent blueprints and detailed instructions to District Thirteen several months before the Quarter Quell. We just need your computer people to input the data. We also want voice activation and voice encryption enabled." Wiress nodded and beamed at her husband.

"I will put our data into it with my wife's instructions, of course." Beetee chuckled grabbing the holo as he found himself backing away from the table. His wife giggled as she steered him toward the doors. "Apparently we are working on this now."

"Thank you." Boggs chuckled knowing the inventing duo was responsible for much of the technology the rebel armies used during the revolution. He also knew the hardest part of the revolution was just beginning.
