Automatic Love ch. 53
Anna's P.O.V.
Okay, this week has definitely been weird. When I brought Elsa over to dinner, she and my Dad managed to sneak off onto the porch. They had some kind of bonding moment and my Dad had this knowing smile on his face. He knows something that I don't and it bugs me. When I asked the blonde what she talked to him about, she just told that it was nothing that I had to worry about. What the heck was that all about?
The fighter and I never kept secrets from each other before and I don't like that she's keeping something from me. Maybe I'm just being paranoid and I'm blowing this out of proportion. We ate dinner before me and Elsa sat on the porch talking about everything and nothing at all. It was getting late and the mechanic took Bubba home. She kisses me on the lips before leaving. I just get that conversation that my girlfriend had with my Dad out of my head. I tried to slyly probe him for him information but he wasn't having any of it.
He just smiled before kissing me on the forehead and walking away chuckling. Who does that? I need to know what they talked about. If I can't get the information out of my Dad then I'll get it out of Elsa then. I waited until Monday to put my plan into motion. When I arrived at school, the blonde was standing in front of her locker talking to Kristoff and Aladdin in shushed voices. As soon as I close, they stopped talking and I raised an eyebrow at them.
When I asked them what was going on, they told me that it was nothing at the same time and giving each other knowing looks. Okay, I know that something is going on and both of the fighter's male friends are in on it. What could Elsa possibly be hiding from me? What could she be hiding and feel like she couldn't come to me about it? Why did she tell Kristoff and Aladdin and not me? I am gonna get to the bottom of this one way or another.
I dropped the subject for now and the group seemed somewhat relieved about it when the bell rings and we walked to first period. Rapunzel was sitting in her seat with her phone in her hand and was texting on it. She was obviously testing Kristoff due to the huge smile on her face. The blonde looks up from her phone for a moment to say hi to us before going back to texting. Elsa sat down and pulled out her sketchbook and started drawing in it.
I tried to look over her shoulder to see what she was drawing but it was difficult since Elsa was blocking my view with her shoulder. I sigh a little as I couldn't get the blonde fighter's attention away from her sketchbook. Captain Hook walked into the room and got started on his rant about his favorite crazy patient Peter Pan. This guy really needs a therapist to deal with his issues. Look like I have to switch tactics slightly. I pulled out my phone and scrolled down to a certain number before texting it.
ME: Hey Rapunzel, has Elsa told you anything that I should be worried about.
RAPUNZEL: Like what? Did something happened between you two? O.o
ME: Not that I know of. It feels like she's hiding from me and I know that Kristoff and Aladdin know but aren't saying anything. Did she tell you anything?
RAPUNZEL: She hasn't said anything to me but do you want me to find out
ME: You mean like a spy? You would do that for me?
RAPUNZEL: Sure, why not. I always wanted to be a spy and this could be good practice. If it'll out your mind at ease then yes
ME: Thanks so much, Rapunzel. I really appreciate it
RAPUNZEL: I should have some info by the end of the day so I'll let you know by them
ME: Thanks, Punz
That was how it was done. I have my own personal soy and I should have what I'm looking for by the end of the day. I know that I shouldn't be doing this but I have no choice. The blonde mechanic is keeping something from me and won't tell me about it. She could be in some kind of trouble and I wouldn't know anything about it. I could stop it if someone would just tell me what was going on. I went through the rest of the day, trying to act as normal as possible so I wouldn't tip of my girlfriend.
I met Rapunzel after school and unfortunately she had nothing to report back to me. I was really hoping that she could get Elsa to open up. Maybe she wasn't hiding anything but the feeling in the pit of my stomach was telling me otherwise. I tried to get information out of Kristoff and Aladdin but they were keeping their mouths shut. The only thing that they would tell me is that I will definitely be surprised. What does that even more? Way to be cryptic, guys.
The guys are useless and I can't get anything out of them. Elsa will let me her secret when she's ready and I just have to be patient. Hopefully I can wait that long or else I might explode from waiting. I tried one last time to get the blonde fighter to tell me what she was hiding by using my feminine wilds and almost told me but it failed me as well. It was obvious that the blonde mechanic didn't want to tell me yet so I had to play the waiting game.
The week gone by painfully slow for my liking until it was Saturday again. I agreed to go with Elsa and Bubba to Disneyland and hopefully this will get my mind off of things. I packed a small backpack when I heard the doorbell ring. I walked down the stairs to find the blonde and Olaf in the living room with my Dad and Merida.
"Well Elsa, you know the rules" My Dad said with his arms folded.
"I do, Sir" Elsa said nodding.
"Ugh, I don't know if you're calling me Sir just to irritate me or not" My Dad said with his eyebrow twitching slightly.
"I wouldn't do that but if I was, it would be working" Elsa said giggling a little.
"Dad, stop messing with my girlfriend" I said glaring at him a little.
"Me?! I haven't don't anything" My Dad said pouting.
"Yeah right, that's what he said" I said rolling my eyes.
"Whatever, get out of here ya crazy kids. Have fun" My Dad said kissing my forehead.
I followed Elsa out of the house and towards her car. I helped the white haired boy into the backseat. He was really excited about going to Disneyland and failing to contain his excitement. The blonde held out the car door for me and I kissed her on the cheek as I got in. She got in the car soon afterwards and drove off towards the theme park. I am excited about going to Disneyland since it's been a really long since the last time that I went.
"You seem excited, Feisty Pants"
"I am excited. I'm going to Disneyland with my two favorite people in the world" I said kissing her on the cheek.
"I'm one of your favorite people, right Anna?" Olaf asked curious.
"Or course you are, Bubba" I said smiling.
"Yay" Olaf said grinning.
It was an hour and a half long drive to get to the theme park with traffic. It was hard to find a decent parking spot with all of the people that had shown up but it could have been worse. I grabbed my backpack out of the backseat as Olaf jumped out. Elsa tied her jacket around her waist before grabbing Bubba's hand. I grabbed his other hand so we would lose him in the crowd. I lost on my cousins in a crowded area and it scared the crap out of him.
I looked for hours to find him and he made his way to the lost-and-found. I swore to myself that I would never lose anyone like that ever again. I thought that something had happened to him and it was all my fault. I won't lose Bubba like that or I wouldn't be able to forgive myself. We got in line to pay our tickets and the fighter had brought the season pass for the theme park so the tickets were cheaper. I was going for my wallet that was in my backpack when the blonde mechanic stopped.
"I got you" Elsa said paying for my ticket.
"Elsa, I can buy my own ticket" I protested.
"I know that you can but I want to" Elsa said handing me my ticket.
"Okay but lunch is on me though" I said putting my hands on my hips.
"Deal" Elsa said smiling.
We walked into the theme park and were stopped by one of the photographers in the front. One of them asked if we wanted to take pictures to remember the moment. I nodded before sitting on the bench with Bubba on my lap and Elsa sitting next to me with her arm around my shoulders. The photographer took our pictures before giving us a piece of paper to pick them up.
"So what should we get on first. It's A Small World?" I asked.
"If you love us then you wouldn't put us through that kind of torture" Elsa and Olaf deadpanned.
"Okay, okay we would get on it. What about Splash Mountain?" I asked laughing a little.
"Yeah, Splash Mountain. I wanna get soaked" Olaf said pumping his arm in the air.
We walked over towards the mountain like ride before the line got too long. At this time of day, it would be a fair long line for it anyways. I was right about the line and it was a 45 minutes wait to get on. Bubba was bouncing around looking at everything and anything that passed by. Mickey Mouse passed by and offered to take pictures with him. I pulled out my phone and snapped the picture and Olaf had a face splitting grin on his face.
He was fan-boying over meeting Mickey and Elsa was laughing into her hand. It was very cute. The line was finally moving it and wasn't long before we reached the front of the line. Bubba and I got into the front part of the cart and the blonde got into the back. We were screaming our heads off at going over the drop and getting soaked. The fighter barely got wet at all since she was sitting in the back but it didn't stop me from hugging her. She squealed when I hugged her but I didn't let go.
"Thanks Feisty Pants" Elsa said playfully glaring at me.
"You're welcome" I said smiling.
"You got wet" Olaf said laughing.
Elsa just rolled her eyes as I kiss her on the cheek. We walked around the park to Star Wars part to get on Space Mountain. By then we had dried off to get in line for the ride. I've noticed that the blonde mechanic was in a really good and I'm glad that she is. With everything that has happened, she deserves it. She looks at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Is there something on my face?" Elsa asked confused.
"No. I just like looking at you, that's all" I said smiling.
"Creepy much?" Elsa asked cracking a smile.
"I don't think so since you're really beautiful. I just can't help but stare at you" I said winking at her.
"You guys are really lovey dovey" Olaf said rolling his eyes.
"Awww come here, Bubba. I wouldn't leave you out" I said taking Olaf into my arms.
I kiss him on the top of his head and I see a small smile on his face. Bubba may be very mature for his age but he's still a kid. I really like spending time with him and his sister. If I ever have a kid, I hope that they turn out as good as Olaf. The line was moving fairly quickly and it wasn't long before we got onto the ride. I got on with Olaf because he wasn't tall enough to get on by himself. We got the ride and the white haired boy was bouncing up and down in the seat. The ride went by quickly before we had to get off. Bubba wanted to see the pictures from the ride and we had goofy looks on our faces.
"Can I get a churro?" Olaf asked pointing the churro cart.
"I'm not sure about eating sugar so early" Elsa said unsure.
"It's not that early, Elsa. One churro isn't gonna kill him"
"I guess not. Come on Olaf, I'll buy a churro" Elsa said grabbing his hand.
Elsa brought the churro for white haired boy and he happily ate the sugary treat. We were standing next to the store where they sell the make-your-own light saber from the Star Wars movies. That would explain where they got the light sabers from when we played Pirates. Maybe I should get one. After Bubba finished his churros, we walked into the store and Bubba bolted to make his own light saber. He put the parts together so fast that it seem like it appeared out of nowhere.
The fighter put together her own light saber and helping me put together my own. I made my red light saber and I have to say that it's pretty cool have one. I swung the sword around with Bubba like in an actual swordfights.
"Okay you dorks, you better stop better you hurt someone" Elsa said jokingly.
"You worry too much" I said rolling my eyes.
"Only when you two are involved. We better paid for the light sabers"
We walked to the cash register when the blonde reached for her wallet, I stopped her. I didn't want her to pay for everything because I'm not dating her for the money. We are going half on everything here and I won't have it any other way.
"I got this, Elsa" I said pulling out on my wallet.
"You don't have to, you know" Elsa said. "I know that but I want too" I said nudging her with my shoulder.
I paid for the light sabers and Olaf pulls out his sword out. Elsa kissed me on the cheek and I feel the heat crept into my cheek.
"Thanks Anna" Olaf said hugging me.
"You're welcome" I said hugging him back.
We got on a couple more rides before grabbing something to eat. Olaf ate happily… more like stuff his burger and fries into his mouth to get on more rides. I told him to slow down before he chokes. The white haired boy slow down a little. I sound like my Mom when I eat too fast. After we ate lunch, we went some of the attractions and it was really fun. I didn't realize how quickly it got dark but we have an hour or two before the park closes.
We were gonna watch the World of Color before leaving. It was gonna start soon and we got a good view of the show. I looked to see that Elsa disappeared and I frowned. I turned to my right and looked down to see that the blonde on one knee with a open ring box in her hand. There was a diamond ring with the diamond being in the shape of a snowflake. I covered my mouth with my hand. Ohmygod! Ohmygod! Ohmygod! I can't believe. Is this really happening? Is this what she was hiding?
"Anna, I know that we haven't been dating very long but I love you very much. I can't see my life without you in it and my life is whole lot better because of you. I don't want anyone but you. We don't have to married right away but I do want us to be together. Will you marry me?" Elsa asked nervously.
We heard a small cough to see that it was Olaf and he was on one knee as well. I giggled as the blonde rolls her eyes a little bit.
"I think what my sister mean is will you marry us" Olaf said grinning.
"Yes, I'll marry you…. The both of you" I said smiling through the tears.
A grin broke out onto the fighter's face as she puts the ring on my ring finger. The Winter sibling got up from off of the ground. I wrap my arms around the blonde mechanic's neck and kiss her passionately. I can't believe that this is happening. I can't believe that I'm engaged now but I wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else. I kiss Olaf on the cheek and hug him tightly.
"Is this what you've been so secretive about?"
"Yes, I had to keep quiet on it for the week because I want to get the ring custom-made. I made Kristoff and Aladdin swear to keep it a secret and… oh nice try to get Punzie to get me to reveal my secret to her" Elsa said smirking.
"W-What? W-What do y-you mean?" I stammered.
"You have been trying to get me to tell you what I've been hiding and all of a sudden Punzie wants to know what I was 'hiding'. After that I put 1 and 1 together"
Well that was embarrassing. I thought that I was being sneaking but the blonde knew about everything. The fighter giggles a little as she wraps her arm around my shoulder and pulled me in close to her body. She kisses me on the top of the head. I picked up Olaf into my arm and he wraps his arms around my neck. The blonde grabs my hand and we picked the pictures that we took earlier before walking out of the theme park. We walked into the parking lot and into the car. The sleeping child snuggled into my chest and I smiled at him. My family has gotten a little bit bigger now.
Elsa's P.O.V.
I drove home with a sleeping red head fiancee and little brother in the passenger's seat. I managed to ask Anna to marry me and she actually agreed to marry me... some time down the road. I managed to get the ring made custom made without her finding out about it. I can't believe that the cheer captain try to get Punzie to get information out but I can see why she did it. I was acting a little suspicious for the week. I woke up the cheerleader and she wiped the sleep out of her eyes.
She followed me into the house with Olaf in her hands the whole way and up to his room. I was in the living room when I noticed a white letter on the flooring net to the mailbox opening. I took it upstairs to my room. Anna got the white haired boy changed into his pajamas and into boy without waking him up from his sleep. I gave the red head some clothes to sleep in and she walked into the bathroom. This day has been amazing and I can't see how it can get any better.
I opened the letter and it was from... all the way from Tokyo, Japan. Why do I have a letter from Tokyo? It must be from them. I opened the letter and read over it then read over it again and once more to make sure that I was reading it right.
Dear Ms. Elsa Winters,
I am the Director of Hiring at Studio Ghibli and I have seen the portfolio of your artwork that you sent a week ago. I have looked over your body of work and I have to say that I am very much impressed. I would like have you intern at the studio in Tokyo 2 months after you graduate from high school. I think you would very much be an asset to us and you like to get started as soon as possible.
We will help you find a suitable place to stay while you are here, pay the first month's rent, groceries for the first month and your plane tickets. I hope to hear from you soon as possible.
Sincerely, Akira Fujimoto of Studio Ghibli Tokyo, Japan
I was wrong. This day has gotten a whole lot better. I changed into a tank top and basketball shorts when Anna walked into the book with her clothes in hand. She sets her clothes on the computer desk before crawling into the bed. The red head snuggled up to me before falling asleep. I wrapped my arms around her waist and fall into a deep sleep.
