Inuyasha and Kikyo had made good time on their trip it was just a little before noon they stopped to have a small bite to eat and rest than they were off once more. It was a few hours later that they made it to the villa. His father hadn't been lying he could feel the barrier miles away before he saw it he couldn't see the villa but he could see the gardens of what he assumed was the back of it. Putting Kikyo down gently on her feet he approached the barrier lifting his hand to touch it he was stopped. Kikyo had grabbed his elbow with a worried look she could feel the power coming off the barrier and she wasn't sure if Toga would hurt Inu after what happened the morning before but she wanted to make sure.

"Are you sure it's safe? I mean your dad was pretty mad at you yesterday," she said eyeing the barrier again.

Inuyasha put his free hand on hers that was still holding his elbow. "I'm sure it's fine. Yeah, the old man was mad, but I don't think he would purposely hurt me," he said back pushing his arm again at the barrier.

Inuyasha felt a tingle as his arm brushed through the barrier but it didn't hurt quite the contrary it felt welcoming, like home. A feeling that Inuyasha was not all that knowledgeable about at all. Kikyo, too, felt the tingle and let go of Inuyasha's arm and took a step back. Inuyasha took a step forward and was through the barrier and turned to look at Kikyo's face. She had the funniest look on her face like she was staring at something that she just didn't get.

Inuyasha laughed at her. "It's ok babe, look I'm all fine and dandy," he said spinning around in place to show her.

Kikyo, still on the other side, nodded and stepped forward. When she went to place her hand through the barrier it was solid. Her hand couldn't pass at all. "Inu it won't let me through," she said in a slight panic. Yasha stuck his hand back out and gripped her wrist than jerked her through the barrier.

She landed against his chest with an "Oomph" then glared up at him. He just smirked and laced his hand with hers and walked towards the villa they were supposed to be checking on.

On the other side of the villa Aoihi landed with the pups and Sesshomaru. As he went to step through the barrier it wouldn't let him pass. Aoihi stood looking where Rin seemed to have walked through just fine, yet he, with Sesshomaru on his back, could not walk through. The only thing he could think caused it was that Sesshomaru's youki was not active at the moment and thus the barrier would not react to him.

"Rin, pup, how did you get through?" he asked to his female pup standing a few feet away.

Rin turned to look at him. She didn't have an answer to the question but maybe it was because she was pack bonded with Toga and Sesshomaru. She shrugged her delicate shoulders. "I don't know Aoihi-sama. Maybe because of the pack bond?" she half stated, half asked.

Aoihi thought about it for a moment. "Shippo, Kohaku, grab on to my arms and let's see if it will let us through as well." The pups quickly did as told and grab their alpha and began to head to the villa like Rin was. Luckily no issues happened and they made it to the villa in a few minutes.

Aoihi, upon entering, went to find a room to put Sesshomaru in. Walking down the hall he felt the aura of both Inuyasha and Kikyo approaching the house. He thought for his own sanity he would put Sesshomaru down first, then find them and inform them of the pack being here sooner than they thought they would be. Finding an empty room with a single futon a chest for clothes and a simple desk, Aoihi deemed it fitting for the now human Dai and his position in the pack. Laying Sesshomaru down he turned to leave the room seeing Rin standing in the door sniffling slightly.

"Rin, pup, do not blame yourself for this," he said in a soft caring tone as he knelt down in front of her.

"But if Rin had not told Sesshomaru-sama she wanted to leave he wouldn't have wondered off," she stated in a sob, throwing herself in Aoihi's open arms.

Aoihi growled softly to his pup in comfort and rubbed soothing circles on her back. "There, there, little one. What happened was Sesshomaru's beast's doing, not yours," he said pulling back from her.

Rin wiped her nose on her kimono sleeve and looked back at the bed Sesshomaru was laying in. "May I stay with him?" she asked, setting her pleading eyes on Aoihi.

Aoihi let as soft smile to his lips. "You may, my little one, but do not neglect your health to do so," he said brushing his thumbs under her eyes wiping away her remaining tears.

Rin nodded to him, and brushed her cheek to his. "I won't," she promised and slipped past her second alpha.

Aoihi watched as she curled up on the bed next to Sesshomaru. It was his hope that when Toga got here she would attach herself to him for the time, 'til Sesshomaru woke up. The stress was no better for his little pup than it was for her mother.

Slipping out of the room he slid the door shut just as he felt Inuyasha and his intended enter the villa. Making his way to the large greeting room he left Shippo and Kohaku in, he heard when the half breed discover them there. The loud voice of the boy wasn't hard to miss. Aoihi reached up and messaged the bridge of his nose, once more hoping Toga would make a speedy arrival. As much as he liked the other Dai, the male's blood pups were more than a hand full, and he didn't have the energy to deal with either of them right now after the morning events.

Kikyo and Yasha had found their way to the front of the villa and went in. They decided that they would check the inside first for damages, then the outside, if there was no water damage or anything on the inside. On their trek to the front of the villa they had noticed that the garden, while slightly over grown, was still in very good shape as well as the stables, and what Inuyasha thought to be servant quarters. He would check the stables and servant quarters after he had a chance to check the main house and get Kikyo slightly settled in.

Walking through the front door and into the greeting room they were greeted with the sight of Shippo and Kohaku looking around. "Hey just what the hell are you two squirts doing here?" Yasha asked in his normal gruff manner.

The two pups in question spun around to see the other two guests. Just as Shippo made to tell the half breed off his father returned from the hall. "There has been as slight change to plans Inuyasha. I am afraid you will have to bear with us till Toga arrives and tells you what is going on," he said in an exhausted tone.

"Keh! Pops told me to come and check the villa for damages. If you all are here may as well give me a hand," he huffed out.

Aoihi agreed and sent the pups out to check the stables and the servant quarters while Inuyasha took the outside of the main villa and Aoihi would take the inside with Kikyo. As the group split up and Aoihi made to go down a different hall he was stopped by Kikyo's voice "Will Kagome be here as well now?" she asked.

Aoihi looked at her, wondering what the woman was thinking. If the rest of the pack was going to be here why would the alpha female not be. "She will. She stayed back to wait for Toga and travel with him," he stated, turning back around.

Kikyo jogged to catch up to him and put a hand on his arm. "Wait, she can't be here with Inu! He's not ready to see her," she said in a pleading voice.

Aoihi shook the woman's hand off and turned to face her "Look, Kikyo, I understand your worry for your intended but this is Kagome's home. I do not think she will seek him out, so all he has to do is the same," he stated in a hard tone to her.

Kikyo took a step back slightly it was odd to see the gentle fox so upset. "No I didn't mean it like that….she really means a lot to him," she said in a soft voice.

Aoihi let out an annoyed sigh. "Things will work themselves out. At this point, the best you can do as Inuyasha's intended is just stay out of it," he said in his normal tone.

Kikyo let her head drop but nodded. Maybe he was right. The best thing she really could do was stay out of it. Maybe when Kagome did arrive she would start her training with her, and allow them to get to know each other better.

Back in the western palace Kagome paced the room the pack had stayed in. Sesshomaru's beast had not spoken to her again since he was taken to the villa by Aoihi. Perhaps she had to be near him for it to happen she wondered. She was trying to think of the best and fastest way to get the Lord of the West back to his full glory, because, human or not, she wasn't sure how any of them were going to put up with him.

Yes, the male seemed like he had a gentler side, but she had only caught glimpses of it, and she was sure when he did wake up and found his new form he was going to be more than just a little angry. Her thoughts as well as pacing were interrupted as Toga came through the door with an exhausted expression on his face.

"Aww, do you not miss being a lord, Toga?" she jested to him.

Toga looked to his little female and huffed. "No, my love, I do not miss it in the slightest bit. Even this short period of time substituting for Sesshomaru is sure to drive me mad," he said back.

Kagome smiled at him and walked up to him brushing the back of her knuckles to his cheek "You will not have to do it on your own, my lord," she smiled to him.

Toga couldn't stop the pleased growl the rumbled in his chest; he so did like her calling him 'my lord.' He scooped Kagome up in his arms and walked to Sesshomaru's balcony.

Kagome gave off a small squeak as she was lifted up and then smacked Toga playfully on the back. "A little warning would be nice you know," she said in an exasperated tone.

Toga only chuckled at her. "I will keep that in mind, love. Shall we be on our way to join the rest of the pack?" he questioned, nuzzling her neck gently.

Kagome giggled at his over affectionate ways but nodded "Oh, lets!" she said cheerfully.

Toga formed his cloud and raced off to his villa. "By the way, Kagome, with the change in plans I am afraid Inuyasha and Kikyo may be at my villa by now," he said looking down to catch her eyes.

Kagome drew in a deep breath. She was going to have to face them sooner or later, anyways, and she knew she needed to make things right with Inuyasha. He was her best friend after all. "It's ok Toga," she said, looking out in front of them.

"I will ask them to leave if it will make you uncomfortable, love," he said still looking at her.

Kagome let a small smile grace her face. Toga really was such a good male. She turned back to look at him, brushing his bangs from his eyes. "That won't be needed. I need to fix the problem, not run from it. I just hope Inuyasha will let me," she said putting her head down slightly.

Toga nuzzled her neck softly. The more he saw of this woman the more he was endeared to her. How could anyone that met her not love her to bits? "He will, love. Have no doubt about that," he said squeezing her to him.

The rest of the flight was spent in silence till they were at the villa. Toga flew them right to the front door and set Kagome back on her feet nudging her to the door. When she opened the door she was almost tackled to the ground by her two male pups. "About time, mama! We were starting to think something was wrong," Shippo stated looking up to her.

Kagome smiled at her pups and kissed them both on the foreheads. "As you can see, my sweethearts, everything is fine. It simply took longer to take care of everything than we thought it would."

When the pups seemed satisfied they stepped back, and Kagome soon found herself swept up in Aoihi's arms. She giggled at him. "Well, hello to you to Aoihi," she said placing a soft kiss to his cheek.

Aoihi released her after basking in her scent for a few moments and stepped back. "I'm glad you both had a safe journey," he said looking up to Toga.

"Hey! The outside looks fine. No damage I could see. How's everything in here?" they heard the gruff voice of Inuyasha shout.
