When I got back to my place that night I found Michonne sleeping on the couch with her sword tightly clutched in her hands. I headed upstairs quickly and found Carl and Rick passed out in the spare bed. I guess someone had gotten them another bed because there were two instead of one. I sighed as I closed their door. I headed to my room to find Hannah just sitting in the middle staring at the door. I opened it and she jumped.

"Hannah?" I asked turning the light on and she blinked and rubbed her face.

"Bright." She laughed.

"What are you doing up?" I asked as I walked over.

"I wanted to wait for you." She smiled as I sat next to her.

"It's late, you should be sleeping." I shook my head with a smile.

"I know." She sighed.

"Something the matter?" I asked and she looked down. "Hannah?" I asked.

"Michonne said we would find you and daddy." She sighed looking up with big sad eyes. "Where is daddy?" She asked reaching over and hugged me as she cried quietly.

I felt horrible that I hadn't found Daryl yet. I sighed as I held Hannah tightly and let her cry for a bit. I was trying so hard not to cry myself. "I'll find him." I smiled down at her.

The next morning I woke to find Hannah still in my bed. I smiled when she moved quickly under the blankets. She looked so tired so I decided to leave her sleeping. I walked out and headed for the shower. I was up first so I showered quickly and got dressed. Once my hair was dry I threw it up in a ponytail and walked back to my room.

"Where are you going?" Hannah poked her little head from the blankets.

"Scott and I are going to look for Daddy and others." I smiled. "You stay with Rick and Carl I'll be back for dinner okay?" I asked and pressed a kiss on her forehead. "You can go back to sleep if you want." I said walking over to my dresser and grabbed my gun and knife.

"Okay!" Hannah smiled as she pulled the blankets back over herself. I smiled as I closed the door and headed downstairs quickly to get something to eat and meet Scott by the gate. I sighed as I quickly ate some dry cereal and jumped when I heard someone coming down the stairs. It was to early for anyone else to be awake. I placed my bowl in the sink and walked over to the end of the staircase.

I looked up and coming down the stairs one step at a time was Rick. It was clear by the expression on his face that he was in pain and as he slowly made his way down I shook my head. "Go back up there and sleep." I ordered and he looked down. Rick said nothing as He clutched the rail and continued step by step. "Did you go deaf while out on the road?" I huffed with a laughed as I walked up and stopped in front of him. He tried to push by me. "Rick stop." I said softly and he sighed looking up.

"I can't just keep laying around. I need to do something." He said.

"Do something? Like what?" I asked crossing my arms, still not letting him by.

"You're going out and looking for the other right?" He asked and I nodded. "Well I'm coming." He tried his best to stand straight.

I laughed. "Yeah that is never going to happen." I said. "Rick your leg is fractured, and are exhausted." I said placing a hand in his shoulder. "I need you to rest. We all need you back to normal... you know healthy and not about to collapse." I said.

"I'm not going to collapse." He said again trying to stand straight but he lost is balance and nearly falling over me. I held Rick up with my hands placed firmly on his chest. I pushed him back up and forced him to turn around.

"Yeah alright... You are going back to that bed and you better stay there." I said practically dragging him back. "I'm serious. If I come back and find you wanting around again... there will be hell to pay." I smiled as I pushed open the door.

"Is that so?" Rick rolled his eyes. "Well I am absolutely terrified." He said as I sat him down.

I stood back and placed my hands on my hips. "You better be." I smiled and Rick finally smiled back at me.

"What's going on!" Carl sat up quickly from his bed and was just about to jump to his feet.

"Nothing. Calm down." I stopped him as he opened his eyes. "I'm just making sure your father stays in bed." I nodded.

"Great maybe he will listen to you." Carl smiled.

"Really? He told you to stay here and you got up anyway?" I asked looking back at Rick. He said nothing but look at Carl with a smirk and a shake of his head. "God you are stubborn." I said.

"Oh you should talk." Rick said as he finally sat back in his bed and Carl laid back down.

"Just go back to sleep." I laughed. "Carl you watch over your father here... make sure he doesn't get up."

"Sure." Carl said laying on his back and nodding. "And Judith is still asleep and so is Hannah. When they finally get up either you or Michonne get them something to eat?" I asked and Carl nodded.

"Wait a second." He sat up again. "I spent a month on the road protecting them, getting food, fighting off walkers and now I'm pushed to baby sitting?" Carl whined.

"Well of course you don't have to. I was just asking. But if it is to much to ask then I'm sure Maggie will have no problem watching over the girls." I smiled walking over and kneeling beside Carl's bed. "I bet Douglas would love to put a strong boy like you on construction... you know real manual labour." I heard Rick laugh to himself at my offer. Carl's eyes got bit as I gave him the other option.

"Alright, alright I'll watch over Hannah and Judy."

"Thank you." I smiled and stood. "Don't cause to much trouble while I'm gone." I smiled at them as I left the room.

"Crash!" Scott's voice came from the front door after a loud knock.

"Comin'!" I called out as I ran down the stairs and walked out closing the door quietly. Scott smiled a me. "Good morning." I said as he laughed at my smile.

"Apparently." He chuckled as we started to walk toward the gates. "I see everything is working out." He said.

"I guess. I mean Judith has her father and brother, I have Hannah, and Michonne is going to be a great asset to Douglas and his defensive force... or what ever he calls it."

"Well I'm happy to see that smile." Scott said. "haven't seen it since you first got here."

"Oh come I've smiled before." I nudged him.

"Yes but never like that." He pointed to me. "It's not forced or sad." He said.

"Wait my smiles are sad?" I asked and he stopped.

"No.. that's not what I meant... I just meant..." He stuttered and I just smiled at him. He sighed and shook his head. "I'm just happy you're happy." He smiled nervously.

I just laughed at him. "Come on let's go." I shook my head at him and climbed in the passenger seat of his truck.

"Wait!" A familiar voice came before we took off. I looked over one Scott's side to see Arron running our wait. "Scott! Juliet!" He called and stopped out of breath.

"What's up man?" Scott asked after he rolled his window down.

Arron took a second to catch his breath and I laughed at him. "Can I come. I can't stay here and do nothing anymore." He huffed. "Douglas put me on gardening." He sighed throwing his arms up.

Scott looked over at me and I smiled. He waited for me to answer and I nodded. "Come on." I waved Arron over and he jumped with a smile. Arron jumped in next to me and I sat in the middle and Scott started to drive. "So gardening? Sounds... well awful." I laughed looking over to Arron.

"Oh you have no idea! I seem to kill everything I touch... I mean I defiantly don't have a green thumb." He sighed. "Plus less chance of seeing Melissa out here." Arron chuckled as he pointed out the window.

"Melissa?" Scott laughed. " I thought you were seeing Jane."

"I thought you were with Danielle?" I asked and Arron looked over with a shrug.

"Well see it's like this..." Arron said as he turned toward me. "See me and Danielle were good for a while but she got... well boring." Arron exhaled. "Then along came Jane right?" He winked. "Sexy, thin, and quit Jane." he sighed looking up and I rolled my eyes as Scott laughed.

"Nice." Scott added.

"Oh it was." Arron winked and I shook my head. "but then I met Melissa... I mean this women literally came up to me and basically started tearing her clothes off." Arron said.

"Somehow I don't see that happening." I added and Arron looked at me with shock.

"It did! I tried to tell her around Danielle but she just wouldn't take no for an answer... and who am I to deny Melissa what she wants." Arron nudged me. "If you know what I mean." He winked and I pushed away from him.

"No I really don't." I laughed as Scott just smiled admiring Arron.

"Oh come on!" Arron said. "You can't tell me a women like you hasn't her share of men falling at her feet." He winked.

I narrowed my eyes at Arron as Scott kept driving. "A women like me?" I asked crossing my arms.

"Oh boy." Scott laughed.

"Oh! No I didn't mean you are easy or anything..." Arron jumped defending himself quickly.

"Huh sure." I rolled my eyes as I sat forward and just looked out the windshield at the passing sings. We still had a ways to go.

"No really! All I meant was a women like you; strong, has no problem putting people in their place, can kick anyone's ass..." Arron started to compliment me and suddenly he stopped. "Plus you know... the obvious beauty that is you." Arron said and nudged me again.

"Are... are you hitting on me Arron?" I asked with a small smirk as I looked over at him. I watched as he panicked. He looked to Scott then back at me.

"No! I mean I would be lucky to have someone like you but I wasn't..." He sighed. "Are we almost there?" he asked.

"Nope." Scott laughed.

"Still got a few streets to go... and if you haven't noticed I happen to be taken Arron." I said waving my left hand in his face.

"Oh right... okay then new question." Arron smiled. "How do you stay so loyal... I mean it's been like what a month since you last saw this guy? I mean a woman has certain needs right?"

"Dude." Scott chimed in sounding insulted for me. I shook my head and Arron was quiet.

"I'm not going to justify that question." I smiled at him. "You'll get it when you find the right person." I added as Scott slowly stopped the truck.

"Alright so your prison is not to far from here so we should find tracks or at least a sign of anyone else still out here." Scott said as we all jumped from the truck.

"Keep quiet... that placed was majorly over run. Who knows how many walkers have started to travel." I lowered my voice as we walked down an empty highway.

We walked for about an hour before Scott found some tracks leading into the woods. We followed them. All we found were more Woodbury people. They didn't make it long before they were bit. I sighed as I looked at all of them. That had to be the last of them. Although there were two Woodbury people I had not seen dead or alive; Ruby or Charles.

"Alright I know we are looking for your man and some others... but how do we know who is friendly and not." Arron asked as we continued to follow a set of stumbling tracks.

"Well if you come across a young blond who kind of has that farmer's daughter look going for her... that's Beth, sweet girl but tough." I said as Arron walked next to me and listened.

"Alright farmer's daughter." Arron laughed and Scott shook his had.

"Arron... she's 19." I added. "Don't even think about it." I warned. "Maggie and Glenn would have your ass." I laughed.

"Beth is Maggie's sister right?" Scott asked.

"Yes, and don't underestimate her. She may look innocent but she is quick and smart." I smiled

"Alright who else?" Arron sighed.

"Um well there is Carol..." I smiled. "Sweet women, short grey brown hair. She is a mother right down to her toes and she looks like one. Again don't underestimate her either she is protective and could kill you within seconds." I smiled.

"Not sure I like how many killer we are bringing back to Alexandria..." Scott sounded worried.

"They would only kill if they were threatened. Trust me these are good people." I sighed slowly realizing it had been a while since I saw any of them. "And I guess that just leaves Daryl." I shrugged.

"Wait let me guess..." Arron stopped me. "Classic pretty boy, big arms, protective, and has got kind of a Harvard look to him?"

I laughed. "Harvard look?" I asked.

"You know smart, preppy and what not." Arron rolled his eyes. "Male model type."

I couldn't help but laugh. "Well Daryl is protective and has big enough arms I guess." I shrugged. "But he's more... rugged, hunter type." I nodded. They just looked at me confused. "The man's got a crossbow and angel wings on his back, trust me when you meet him you'll know it's Daryl." I smiled.

"A crossbow?" Arron asked. "That is intense." I smiled.

"SH!" Scott ordered quickly as we reached the edge of the trees. It was quiet and we could hear the few growls. We all grabbed our knives and headed toward the road just beyond the trees. Scott took the lead and I followed.

"Jesus." I swore once I saw the bus. It didn't make it far at all.

"What?" Arron and Scott asked.

"That's the bus... Maggie said she and Daryl got everyone they could on before things got to bad." I took a deep breath. "They put all the kids and elderly on there." I sighed as I headed for the door of the bus.

"Wait. We don't know if there is anything in there." Arron said.

I walked over and banged on a few of the windows. I waited and nothing happened. I smacked the door making noise again but nothing came out. I pulled the door opened quickly and had my knife ready.

"Crash you want me to check it out?" Scott stopped me.

"Naw... you two keep watch. I gotta see who is in here." I sighed as I took a step up into the bus and the dead smell hit me quickly. I held my hand to my face trying to block the stench but it wasn't helping. The front seemed to be empty except for a few faces I recognized. I sighed as I kept looking. I noticed they all had some sort of bullet wound in them. The metal around the bus didn't stop the Governor's bullets and I felt awful these people got killed.

"Crash? You alright up there?" Scott and Arron called out. A smile came to my lips when I remembered Arron was there when Scott started calling me Crash. My smile was quickly taken by something grabbing my ankle.

"Wooh." I jumped back and fell. I looked down to see a small hand around my ankle, the hand was attached to a small body. I grabbed my knife as I looked at the child walker trying to bite me. He barely moved, he was crushed under at least three other bodies and he looked so small compared to them. I pulled my leg away from him and Scott ran up the stairs of the bus and stood behind me.

"Jesus." he swore as he knelt behind me. I still sat back and just stared at the little boy walker with his face all pale and scratched up. "You knew him?" Scott asked quietly.

"Well not really. I knew his brother better. That's Jesse... his brother, Patrick died a few months ago." I shook my head as I pulled my leg completely out of the turned Jesse's reach. "Patrick was one of the first people to get sick..."I sighed.

"Like the sickness that went through the prison?" Scott asked as he stood and stepped over me and jammed his knife into Jesse's head. I jumped a bit when Scott turned and tried to wipe the blood off his arm.

"Yeah." I sighed as he helped me up.

I looked around the bus and sighed. All these people, they got away first. They should have lived. "You know... all these others, they all have head shot wounds... and bullet wounds."

"What?" I asked.

"I mean it's obvious the bullets killed them but someone put these people down... something small too." Scott said leaning over one of the older bodies. "Not a knife or a axe... something round." Scott looked confused.

"Like an arrow?" I jumped quickly.

"An arrow? Yea I guess that could do the trick." Scott nodded.

"Can you tell when?" I asked as Arron climbed onto the bus.

"When what?" Arron asked as he walked past me and joined Scott's sigh.

"When they were put down?" I rolled my eyes with a smile.

Scott and Arron looked at each other and looked back at the heads of the deceased. "Couple of days... a week?" They both seemed unsure but I didn't care. I smiled and jumped from the bus quickly. "Wait!" Arron called out. "Where you going?" They finally followed me.

"Daryl put them down." I nodded looked down the road.

"How do you know?" Arron scoffed.

"Because Jesse was the only one who wasn't put down." I said looking back and fourth down the road. "Daryl liked Patrick and Jesse... he had to put Patrick down."

"But why wouldn't he do the same with Jesse?" Arron asked.

"Because he is letting me know he is still alive... leaving a trail." I smiled looking back at them. "Now come on." I said as I started to walk down the road again.

"Juliet stop." I heard Scott call out and he sounded serious so I did what he asked. "Daryl isn't leaving you a trail." He sighed as I turned and Arron and Scott made their way to me.

"What?" I asked with a little laugh not understanding.

"Daryl thinks you're dead." Arron finally sighed after looking at Scott. I didn't know how to respond to that. I just looked at Arron with confusion and he sighed again. "While you and Scott were out yesterday, I spoke with Rick. He told me about Karen, and David. He also told me about Tyreese and what he did."

"That was a misunderstanding." I corrected Arron before he could say anything bad about Tyreese. "And Rick would never just tell you everything..."

"Douglas made it very clear that if he wanted to stay in Alexandria, he had to be very clear with what your group as been doing since the out break started." Scott added. "Rick started from when he woke up in the hospital, all the way to that Governor rolling his tank into the prison."

"He told us about you losing your memory." Arron sighed.

"Yeah so? How do you get dead from that?" I could help but laugh at him.

"You may not remember but... um Rick said you went to sleep one night before the prison was attacked and you..." He paused. "You just didn't wake up." Arron shrugged.

"Well that doesn't mean he thinks I'm dead. Come on." I rolled my eyes.

"You heart stopped." Scott called out again as I went to turn. "Rick said he placed his finger on your neck and you didn't have a pulse." I stared at the ground as Scott spoke. I couldn't believe it. I had actually died, and they all knew it. "So I doubt this was Daryl... I'm sorry but-"

"No." I shook my head. "Whether I am dead or not he wouldn't stop fighting. He would keep going. He left this for someone to see... if not me, Rick or Michonne." I shook my head. "Now he, Carol, and Beth are out there. Hell they could be together. So let's go." I said clearly and turned my back on both men.

"Juliet..."

"No." I said as I walked away. "I'm going... come if you like or go back." I didn't bother looking back.

"Juliet look out!" I heard Scott call just before I heard the growling. It was to late to react. The walker had literally jumped from the bush. I turned and it came at me teeth first. I could hear Arron and Scott come running as I fell back to the ground and the walker came down with me. I let out a bit of a yelp and before it took a bite out of my arm Arron's gun went off. The blood splattered over my head and the body fell over to the side.

I looked up quickly at Arron who's gun was shaking in his hand. "What the hell!" I jumped to feet. "You can't just fire guns out here!" I yelled at Arron and he just shook his head at me.

"Well it was either shoot it or let it bite you." Arron came back quickly and shook his head. "You're welcome." He huffed.

I shook my head at Arron as I looked back down to the walker and I sighed once I saw his face. "Damn it Charles." I ran a hand through my hair.

"You knew him?" Scott asked.

"You could say that." I shook my head with a small laugh. "He was my father." I said looking over to Scott.

"What? Oh my god I'm so sorry.." Scott started.

"Jesus.." Arron sounded sad as he looked down. "Sorry."

"Oh no guys it's fine... he was an ass." I smiled. "He hated me and I wasn't to fond of him." I added.

"Still..." Scott sighed. "shit..." Scott said as he looked up. "Your shot attracted some commotion Arron." Scott said.

As we looked up I sighed. Just up the road was a huge heard coming out way, and quickly. "Sorry Crash gonna have to cut this outing short." Arron said as he started to back up. "I suggest we get back to the truck... and like now." Arron took off first.

"I agree." I said as Scott and I ran after him.

We had to run for at least an hour to get rid of our followers. It was another ten minutes before we got back to the truck. I looked around before I got in and just as I took a step up I noticed something that caught my eye. It was something wet shining just up the road. I walked quickly up to it.

"What is it?" Scott called out.

"Blood!" I called back as I put my hand down and dipped my finger in it. "Still kinda fresh..." I said as I looked up and noticed the blood trail. I stood and followed it quickly.

"Hey wait!" Scott said as I followed the trail as it started to get bigger. "Crash we have to get back." Scott huffed as him and Arron followed me.

"We will once I find out whose blood this is." I added.

"It could easily be just some stupid bitter's blood." Arron huffed.

"Too red to be walker blood..." I said as the trail led into the woods. I followed and I quickly came across a pair of tracks. One set were mens and other were almost like cowboy boot prints. We came across a small group of trees where a large pool of blood sat by a tree.

"Well who ever it is... they are bleedin' out fast." Scott said. "Hey! Anybody out here!" He called out. "Don't want any trouble! Just wanna help!" Scott called louder.

"Over here!" Arron called from behind us. " I found more... and this!" He called. I looked up to what he held and I felt my heart actually stop this time. I had to blink a few times as I walked over and took what Arron had in his hands. "You did say Daryl had a crossbow... well I'm no expert but that looks like a crossbow arrow."
