Theme - X me "Ace and his brother get in a fight mainly over Zoro who is stuck between them and he has to help"
Requested By: Henka-Chan
Characters: SaboxZoroxAce.
Zoro's first year as a freshman at Ohara High School was strange. He met really nice people on his first day. He was lucky that he had sophomores who knew the ways around the school because Zoro tend to enter class late for getting lost. When Zoro headed out of the room, one was always nearby helping him navigate through confusing hallways. As the days went by, however, his sophomore roommates were growing a bit too...friendly. Sabo and Ace, he had two sophomores as his roommates since he got a special room with a triple, were starting to like him. The like like.
Sabo was friendlier than Ace and more subtle with it. He helped Zoro whenever he could, so Zoro's first year at school wouldn't be stressful. When Zoro needed time to study, Sabo quietly lowered his music or asked him if he could assist him. Sabo was smarter also, so he pulled his chair into Zoro's study space to make flashcards or show him notes that he had taken last year. When Zoro managed to memorize all of the cards and returned to the room with a 'close to hundred percent' score scribbled on his test grade, Sabo ran up to Zoro and gave him a huge hug. Sabo sat with him during lunch and shared food (Sabo had premium lunch since his family was rich) when Zoro flicked his attention to the food one too many times. And then one day, when they were studying for the next test, Sabo whispered in his ear that he liked him.
Ace was aggressive and was very obvious with his actions. When Zoro was picked on by Ace's snobbish classmates, he defended Zoro and beat them up. When Zoro was harassed by Ace's perverted classmates-and other upperclassmen-Ace beat them up harder. He got in trouble constantly but when Zoro appeared from the detention room and asking if Ace was okay, the older man grinned and toughened up, despite how much he was in pain from the fights. Ace was more physical, so he liked to touch Zoro. An arm around his shoulder, hands running through his green hair, and lips- Lips touched his cheek, neck, and occasionally somewhere lower. When Ace crawled into Zoro's bunk one afternoon and hugged him from behind, touching him in places Zoro didn't know he would react so sensually, Ace growled under his breath that he wanted him.
Zoro grew a liking to his two upperclassmen as well, which was the problem. He couldn't choose which one he liked more because he liked them equally. Sabo and Ace were good friends, but their friendship was slowly tearing apart because of him. Sabo complained one night to Ace that he didn't like how clingy Ace was handling Zoro and had even threatened that he would alert the dorm leader. Soon, the two got into a huge argument, and it would've gotten worse if not for Zoro squeezing in between and telling them to stop.
When their room was filled with tension-love triangle and sexual tension-Zoro had to take refuge. He headed to a private room located in the top floor of the dorm. Thankfully, it was empty, so he sat in a fluffy couch by the window and pulled out his cell phone.
He dialed a familiar phone number. It belonged to his cousin, Smoker. He and Smoker were close like peas in a pod. They played together since they were little and were like best friends. So whenever Zoro was stressing out or wanting to vent, he went to Smoker. His cousin always knew a solution to every problem.
Smoker picked up and asked in a gruff voice, "Zoro? What's up?"
Zoro sighed of relief the moment he heard his cousin's voice. It felt nice to hear someone from home, "Smoker, I have a problem..."
There, Zoro spilled out his recent events at school. He started with the good things, so he wouldn't worry his cousin. He was getting good grades in his worst subjects, he made friends, his roommates were treating him nicely, and he liked being here.
Then, he began the bad side of the life at school. The sophomore bullies, the harassment, and the romance. The romance was the big part. He explained in detail how his roommates started to fall in love with him and things were going out of hand. His heart, laden with stress, had lightened a little. He was so glad that Smoker was here to listen to his story.
Once he was finished, he took a deep breath, "-and that's it. So, what should I do?"
"Zoro," Smoker's voice was stern.
"Yeah?"
"There is one thing I have to say."
Zoro tightened the grip on his phone, "What is it?"
"I love you."
Every part of his green hair stood at its end. Blood bubbled as it made its way up to his face and turned his cheeks bright pink. Zoro stuttered out incoherent sentences as he tried to reassemble his exploded brain. Finally, Zoro found the words he was looking for and shouted in the receiver.
"You're not helping!"
