Hello, everyone, and welcome back to the Longest Road! Last time, Jessie and James decided to quit Team Rocket and broke the news to their Pokemon as well as the twerps (besides Ash and Misty, of course). Elsewhere, Pikachu, Vaporeon, and Togepi met Richie's Pikachu, Sparky, and the four began to try and escape their cell. But it is not going well so far, as hundreds of Rockets with Bellsprouts surrounded them. Luckily for our heroes, they received some help at the end of the chapter. But who is helping our heroes? Well, there is only one way to find out. It is time for episode fifty plus one of the Longest Road!

After throwing Pokeballs against the wall of the door for what seemed to be the millionth time, the door finally opened.

"Are you two ready to fight them?" Pikachu asked Vaporeon, Sparky, and Togepi, despite the little egg Pokemon being unable to fend for herself yet. The Bubble Jet and Mouse Pokemon nodded as a lot of Rockets came running into the storage cell. Togepi nodded as well before jumping on Pikachu's head to get a good view of the action.

"Prepare to lose, you little rats!" one of the Rocket grunts sent out his Pokemon, with the others following. And the Pokemon they sent out just had to be the worst one possible for Vaporeon, Togepi, and the two Pikachus.

"Uh oh," Togepi said, grabbing Ash's Pikachu tight.

"BELLSPROUT!" Vaporeon, Sparky, and Pikachu screamed as the Pokemon started to circle the four.

"Out of all 800 plus Pokemon in the world, why did it have to be one of them that we are all terrible against?"

"What are we going to do?" Togepi asked her "big brother."

"I am not sure what we are going to do, Togepi," Pikachu said to the little egg Pokemon, "None of us can do any damage to this many Bellsprout; we have only one of our attacks can deal with them quickly."

"So it looks like I am going to have to use Aurora Beam to try and fend them off," Vaporeon said as she fired a rainbow-colored beam at some of the Bellsprouts, only for them to be blocked by Vine Whips.

Sparky gulped as the Bellsprouts came closer and closer to our heroes. "What are we going to do now?" he asked Ash's Pikachu.

"I have a good idea that would work right now." the yellow mouse said to the one with spiky hair.

"What might that be?" Togepi asked Ash's Pikachu

"Panic!" Pikachu shouted before they all started to scream, hoping that someone would hear them and get them out of this situation.

The Rocket grunt who sent out the first Bellsprout said, "Well, that was easy. Now we just have to wait for them to succumb to the power of Team Rocket!" He then started to howl with laughter, with the rest of the grunts following.

"It has been a wonder to be on an adventure with you, Vaporeon," Pikachu said to the Bubble Jet Pokemon.

"Yeah," she said, "It was a wonder to be on this amazing journey with you as well, Pikachu," They then went into hug each other, with Sparky and Togepi coming in to hug the two as well. If they were going to fail their mission to escape, they might as well do it together. They continued to embrace each other and wait for the worst to come, when all of a sudden, they heard a familiar voice.

"Alakazam, I want you to use your Psychic attack to dispose of these baddies!" Pikachu looked up to see Sabina, Brock, Jessie, James, and all of their Pokemon standing in the doorway facing the Team Rocket grunts.

The Psi Pokemon nodded before putting his spoon bearing hands and unleashing his Psychic powers to knock out all of the Bellsprouts. That was when the Team Rocket grunts noticed that unwanted help has arrived for the Pokemon they were trying to keep contained. They all pulled out guns, but they never got the chance to fire at them before Brock ordered his Onix to use Rock Slide on all of the Grunts. The rocks made the grunts part like the Red Sea so that Pikachu, Vaporeon, Togepi, and Sparky could get out. They ran towards Brock's group, carrying all of the Pokeballs that they could, mainly the ones that belonged to their trainers.

"Do you have every one of Ash and Misty's Pokemon?" Brock asked Pikachu, who nodded.

Jessie began to close the door but stopped so a little bit before it closed all the way. James then ordered his Weezing to use a poisonous Smokescreen. The purple Poison-type unleashed carbon monoxide into the cell before Jessie closed the door on all of the grunts so that they would all die a slow and painful death.

"Thanks for getting us out of their, Brock," Pikachu said the squinty-eyed trainer.

Brock nodded before telling him that Jessie and James helped them out as well.

"Wait," Vaporeon asked, "Why would those two do something GOOD for us when they have done nothing but BAD stuff to us for the past four dozen chapters."

"Well, the truth is," Sabrina said before looking up to the two grunts.

"Jessie and I have decided to quit Team Rocket for good," James said.

Pikachu and Vaporeon had surprised looks on their faces.

"Is it true?" the Mouse Pokemon asked the Rockets, "Because if it is not, I am planning on shocking you both into next week."

"Don't worry, Pikachu," Sabrina said, she is not lying to you.

"Well, you need to show us if it is the case instead of just telling," Vaporeon said to the Psychic. Seeing this, Sabrina showed Pikachu, Vaporeon, Togepi, and Sparky what went down in the Pewter Gym.

"Alright," Pikachu said, "I believe you two now. Now can we go see our trainers?"

Jessie nodded she, James, Brock, Sabrina, and the Pokemon headed to where the trainers were.

Giovanni was watching what was going around Team Rocket HQ when he stopped at the cell where the Pokemon were. He gasped at the sight. Dead grunts were everywhere, and there was not a Pokemon or Pokeball anywhere in the cell! He decided to contact Jessie and James to see if they knew anything about what happened. He announced over the loudspeakers to make sure that they were listening.

"Jessie! James!" he said. The two grunts found the nearest speaker and said, "Yes, boss?"

"Do you have any idea what happened in the Pokemon storage cell?"

"No," James said, "We were just, uh, capturing Brock and Sabrina in the forest!"

Giovanni bought it and asked, "Well, the Pokemon escaped with all of the Pokeballs, and sent out a Pokemon that knows a poison type attack to execute all of the grunts."

"Wow, that is bad," Jessie said, like James, lying, "How about if we try and recover them once we are done dealing with the two gym leaders?"

Giovanni nodded and said, "Alright. Just be sure that you don't fuck this mission up like the last one hundred times!"

"We won't!" James said as he leads Brock, Sabrina, and all of the Pokemon walked to the cell to see Ash, Misty, and Richie waiting. When their eyes landed on Pikachu, Vaporeon, Togepi, and Sparky, the trainers ran towards their Pokemon.

"Finally!" Ash said as he picked up his Pikachu, "I thought that I would never see you, or any of my other Pokemon again!"

"I thought I would never see you too, Ash," Pikachu said as he licked his trainer's cheek.

"Calm down, you two." Vaporeon said, "It has only been six chapters since Cassidy and Bob stole Pikachu and me during that show."

"Well, it is common knowledge that Ash is close to his Pokemon," Richie said.

"Hey," Brock said, "Who exactly are you."

Richie took the time to introduce himself to Brock and Sabrina before shaking their hands.

"It is good to meet you, Richie," Brock said before he, Sabrina, Jessie, James, and the rest of the Pokemon entered the cell.

"Hey, Brock?" Misty asked.

"Yeah?" the squinty-eyed man asked.

"Why are Jessie and James here?"

"Oh," the blue-haired Rocket said to the girl, "We have decided to quit Team Rocket."

Ash and Misty just stared at the two for a moment.

"Are you kidding us right now?" Ash asked, "Because if you are not, we are going to attack you."

"Don't worry, Ash," Sabrina said to the ebony haired trainer from Pallet Town, "They are on our side now. We do not have to worry about them anymore."

"Plus," Jessie said, "We have you to thank for helping us make that decision a couple of chapters ago."

Ash nodded before saying, "Alright," and invited the two Rockets into the cell. Once everyone was in the cell, Richie spoke up.

"Alright everyone, over the past couple of days, or hours, I forgot which one it was, me, Ash, and Misty made a plan to get out of this place and stop the Rockets!"

"What exactly is the plan?" Brock asked the brown-haired boy.

"Well, Jessie, James, and Sabrina are going to go call the police to inform what the hell is happening in this building. And the main reason Sabrina is going with Jessie and James is that if the police decide to arrest them, Sabrina is the only one to show what went on in Pewter Gym."

"Alright then," Sabina said as she, Jessie, and James returned their Pokemon to their Pokeballs (bar Meowth), and rushed out of the building.

"Brock, Misty," Richie said to Ash's first two (human) friends, "You two are going to round up all of the other Rocket Grunts that are in the building and bring them out to the front so that Officer Jenny can pick them up."

Brock nodded before returning his Pokemon and rushing to get some Rockets. Misty picked up Togepi and ran after him, with Vaporeon right behind her.

"And Ash, you and I are going to try and find the boss of Team Rocket, beat him in a two on two Pokemon battle, and bring him to justice once and for all!"

"Alright, Richie," Ash said before looking down at his little partner. "Are you ready to take out Team Rocket, Pikachu?"

"I am ready when you are," Pikachu said as he hopped onto his trainer's shoulder before looking at Sparky, who winked at him atop Richie's shoulder.

"Let's get going!" Ash said as he rushed out of the cell with Richie right behind him.

Giovanni was continuing to watch what was going on around his building when he saw a pair of boys with Pikachu on their shoulders running through the halls. They stopped in front of one of the cameras to taunt Giovanni.

"You suck!" the black-haired boy said, sticking his tongue out.

"Yeah!" the brown-haired boy said, him and the spiky-haired Pikachu both showing the camera their privates, "Go to hell, Giovanni!"

Giovanni got pretty pissed and called upon his Rockets to try and stop them. However, none ever came, as when one went down the hall, they got pelted with either a Rock Throw or a Water Gun.

Giovanni was as shocked as he was annoyed at what was happening to his grunts.

"Oh," Ash said to the camera, "I forgot to tell you. My friends are taking out all of your grunts, and pretty soon you are going to be next. So how about you make it easy for us, please meet us at the front of the building. If you don't come out in one minute, we are going to find you."

"And if you try to fight us," Richie said, "The two of us are going to fight back. Hard." With that, the two rushed to find Giovanni's office to try and take the boss of Team Rocket on in a Pokemon battle.

Giovanni growled at what the two trainers said to him. His Persian wanted to help and rubbed his head against his master's body.

Giovanni looked down at his cat before saying, "Hey! If I want my feet licked, I will ask for it!"

The classy cat Pokemon flinched before Giovanni took off his shoes and socks. He spun his chair towards the Pokemon and asked him, "So what are you waiting for, I want my feet licked!"

Persian looked at his feet before heading up to them and beginning to lick them. The cat liked the taste of his trainer's feet, and he had the feeling that Giovanni loved the feel.

"Persian," Giovanni said to the cat Pokemon with a confident look on his face, "Once those two come in here, we are going to crush them."

Meanwhile, Jessie, James, Meowth, and Sabrina were at the Pokemon Center, waiting for the police to show up so they could explain.

"Sabrina?" Meowth asked the girl from Saffron City, "What if da officers get da wrong idea from looking at my friends and me?"

"Don't worry," Sabrina said to the talking cat, "I have Alakazam out of his ball for a reason, and he can set it all straight for the cops."

Just then, the doors busted open, and an Officer Jenny came running towards Jessie, James, Meowth, and Sabrina. One of them tried to handcuff the TRio, but Sabrina stopped them.

"They mean no harm to us," she said to the lead officer, "Here, I can prove it." She sent out her Alakazam, who showed her everything that went down in the Pewter Gym.

"James and I decided to quit because of how Giovanni treated them, and my friends are gathering the rest of the of the grunts and the big bad himself. We want you to pick up the Rockets they bring out and send them to jail." Jessie said.

Officer Jenny nodded and told the other officers to go to the Team Rocket HQ to arrest the remaining Rockets.

"Your idea… Worked!" James said to Sabrina, "Thank you,"

"You are welcome, James," Sabrina said, "Now let's go help the others get the other Rockets."

Giovanni watched in horror as more and more grunts fell to the hands of Brock, Misty, and their Pokemon.

"Come on!" he shouted after pressing a button so everyone could hear him, "Take out the losers who dare mess with Team Rocket!

"However, he never got a response, and when he checked what was going around the building, he was surprised to see several police officers outside of the building. The lead one pulled out a megaphone and told the boss of Team Rocket that if he does not come out willingly, she is going to have the people inside bring him out by force.

"Screw you!" Giovanni shouted, "I am not going to come out of here even if there is a volcano under my office that is going to erupt in five seconds!"

Just then, he heard someone knocking on the door. Giovanni knew that Ash and one of his friends were at the door, but he did not want to open it. So he ordered his Persian to keep it shut for him as he watched as the police outside pressured him into coming out. He looked at the police for five minutes when he saw a pair of familiar faces within the group of police officers and Viridian City residents who crowded around to see what was going on. There were two of his grunts! Jessie and James!

"Alright, Richie," Ash said to the brown-haired boy, "Are you ready to take out Giovanni once and for all?"

"Pika!" Sparky said.

"I think Sparky is ready to take out the boss of Team Rocket," Richie said to Ash, "So I am ready to take him out in a Pokemon battle as well."

"Alright," Pikachu said, "On three, we bust the door open." He waited for a second before shouting, "THREE!"

With that, Ash, Pikachu, Richie, and Sparky pushed against the door with all of their might and ended up in the office of Giovanni. Persian, who was guarding the entrance, was forced back, but he landed on his four feet. Giovanni noticed the four unwanted visitors and got out of his chair to greet them.

"So," he said as Ash, Pikachu, Sparky, and Richie got up, "I see that I have visitors. But I am going to have to ask you to leave now, as I am not going to leave this place. At all."

Ash growled at the boss of Team Rocket before shouting at him, "I am not leaving this building until you come out with me, willingly so I can hand you over to the police!"

Giovanni just turned his head, as if he was not paying attention to the boy.

"OK, how about this." Richie said, "We will settle this in a fair Pokemon battle."

"If Richie and I win, you are to come out with us willingly and turn yourself into the police," Ash said to Giovanni.

Giovanni nodded before saying, "And if I win, you two, as well as all of your friends, are going to become grunts for Team Rocket. You will all be stripped your memories of your journeys, your families, and your dreams so that you only care for one thing: serving me and spreading horror around the Kanto region in the name of Team Rocket. And you will all forever be below me regarding both power and Pokemon, as all of your Pokemon will be sold to other trainers on the black market or given to more powerful Rockets. Not like you will remember what Pokemon you had in your former life, anyways."

"Alright, Giovanni," Ash said to the boss of Team Rocket, "You have yourself a battle. It. Is. On." And with that, Ash and Richie each sent out one of their Pokemon, while Giovanni sent out two of his as the battle that would determine what the fate of Team Rocket, and Ash Ketchum's journey to become a Pokemon Master, would become began.

Oh my. How is this battle going to go for Ash and Richie? Will they (along with Misty, Brock, and Sabrina) be forced to be a part of the lowest ranks of Team Rocket? Or will Giovanni finally be brought to justice after his grunts brought terror to the Kanto region for years!
