Count Draco: Part 2
Hermione stared at her phone as it vibrated once again for the seventh time that night. 30 voicemails waited for her and she stared until the call went to voicemail. She sighed as she put the phone down and looked through her fridge, taking out a blood bag. Recently she has been raiding the nearby hospitals to take blood bags. Draco said they would help. They did. But she craved more. She always did. Her friends have been calling her nonstop the past few months. At first she tried to be their friend but the urge to drink their blood was too great and she did not want any harm to come to them. Draco and she were great as always though even being with him seemed constricted and too safe.
She wanted to have fun.
She was a vampire now.
She deserved that much after fighting against Voldemort.
Throwing the blood bag to the floor, she grinned. She was about to go out and have some fun. Noticing the time and seeing that daylight was yet to come she hurried got dressed. Hermione wanted to go hunt tonight… Draco would teach her here and there on how too but he seemed hesitant. So here she was, about to do it herself. She wanted to be careful and first ventured out to the muggle part of London. She saw a lone man walking down the sidewalk and casually pulled him aside. Pulling him aside she looked him in the eyes.
"Stay still." And he did. "Tilt your head. I'm going to feed from you and you're not going to yell or say anything. Nod your head if you understand." He nodded. "Good." Baring her fangs, she sucked on his neck, hungry. Vampire's had the power to control humans and even make them forget. After she was done, she wiped his neck and her mouth. "Forget about this. Go straight home now." The man began to walk off. Sighing with satisfaction, she fed from two more people yet wasn't fully satisfied. Muggles weren't the same as wizards and witches. Heading to Diagon Alley, she thought she could quickly get someone's blood before the sun rose. She had to hurry though. The dark was escaping her. She grabbed the nearest person and quickly took them to the alley.
"A vampire! A vampire!" The person shouted.
"Quiet!" She loudly whispered in their face. But they wouldn't be quiet.
"Help me!"
"Hey! What's going on there?" Someone else said, heading towards them. Hermione looked up bewildered. She didn't want more witnesses. Her powers weren't that well for her to erase memories from people who came from magic.
"Nothing, nothing. Keep it moving." She replied.
"Doesn't look like nothing." Immediately she had them both in a chokehold but suddenly a set of arms had her locked and unable to move.
"Let me go!"
"A vampire…! Merlin and she's feeding, I thought they stopped?"
"Apparently not. Let's take her to the main town area." Dragging her along, the men held her down with bind ropes, the more she tried to get herself out the more they tightened by themselves. These were the moments she hated magic. Within seconds she was knocked out…
OoO
"Behold Diagon Alley! A rare treat for all of us I'm sure! And beautiful might I add." Draco Malfoy and some of his coven were at Diagon Alley for a night of feeding. He distinctly changed his appearance so others wouldn't be able to point out his trademark platinum blonde hair.
"What's going on?" He muttered to his group. Diagon Alley was never so rowdy and loud in the middle of the night. The sun was to rise soon and they needed to leave but his curiosity led him there. What he saw made him almost throw up.
"If she wasn't baring fangs, I would actually take her home." The men laughed heartily as he watched on. Hermione. His dear Hermione. She was tied to the stake like some damn animal about to die. Her eyes looked like defeat, a lamb who was about to be slaughtered. "The sun's approaching; let's wait until it crisps her."
"No! I want to stake her in the heart." Draco could feel his fists clenched and shaking.
"I need to help her."
"We cannot help her Draco. It will risk expose to us."
"So we let her die?" The men looked helpless. They come to adore Hermione as well. "I can't see her die." The first rays of sunlight appeared and Hermione screamed.
"We must go! Now!" The men became to pull Draco away as he watched Hermione scream more and more. "We can't help her! Let's go!" With one look back, Draco and them disapparated.
