I feel the sunshine, lighting up the sky
The sea, the horizon, feeling so alive
Yes, I have never felt this way before
The stars in the sky are glowing just for me
The wind, that I've been waiting, is here and I believe
Now is the time and I will fly, I see the "Go" sign
Take a chance, Yes? No?
I can see my hopes and dreams
I'll fight until the end
Just believe, you will see
It's time to show the fire burning in me
Fly away, fly far away
Blasting rockets to the sky
We will soar our way up high
(Let's go together!)
Catch my star yes I can
It's the moment of our lives
Our pasion burning blazing right
Never giving up , I trust my heart, now I believe
(Yes we can reach our dreams)
Together we'll create new miracles
A beautiful world, now is the time , we are ready to fight
What are you waiting for?
WE ARE DREAM SHOOTER's
In a city, in a building, Mrs. Zanders was standing across from a long table of 5 people, three women and two men. One of the two men was the black-clothed man, except for this occasion, he only had his black hat and a grey suit.
"Mrs. Zanders, what is your business?" One of the women asked.
"I am here to ask if I can still host the tournament at Heartland High School."
"Yes. It will be in two weeks, correct?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Actually, I was pondering on that," The black-clothed, now suited, man said. "It will have to be postponed, but why don't we make it…bigger…"
"Bigger?" One of the men, one of the bosses, asked.
"Yes."
"In what form?" One of the three women, the other boss, asked.
"It might sound crazy, but…let's make it a worldwide tournament."
"Worldwide?!" The two bosses and Mrs. Zanders cried out.
"Yes."
"Explain yourself." The male boss ordered.
"Well sir. A school tournament isn't interesting. I just think we should allow all duelists to show their skills."
"Do you know how much work that will take? The preparation it will take? "
"Yes. But am I not wrong? Mrs. Zanders, tell your students about it. We will start broadcasting it across the world. I will go across the world and find any and all who are willing."
"Why make it worldwide?" The female boss asked.
"Like I said, I believe it would be interesting. To see duelist we have never seen before."
"How will this tournament go?
"Well, I was thinking of making it a team tournament."
"Team tournament?" The male boss asked.
"Yes. Duelists will enter as a team of 4, 3 duelists and a manager. It should shake things up." The male boss motioned Mrs. Zanders to wait as they talked. Seconds later, the male boss said, "Okay. We will talk to the mayor-"
"Actually, if it is alright, I have to talk to the mayor anyways. I can talk to him about the tournament." The suited man said.
"Very well. When do you suppose we have this tournament?"
"I'll get everything set. Just give me a 3-5 months."
"Fine."
"A world tournament…" Mrs. Zanders said. She bowed, said 'thank you' and walked out. The suited man then said his goodbyes and left.
Days later, Mrs. Zanders had the school head to the gym. "I wonder what this is about." Keenan said as he and his friends were finding their seats.
"Not sure. But it always seems to be good." Harper said. They all found some seats and waited until everyone arrived. Mrs. Zanders then walked up to the mic. "Attention everyone! I have…some very exciting news. You all remember the tournament that was to take place here?"
"Oh no, are we not having it anymore?" A female student asked.
"Aw man! I wanted to be in it!" Another one said.
"This sucks!" A male student said.
"Relax. Don't worry, the tournament will still take place. But now…I talked to the board of education and they will talk to the mayor. It seems like our little school tournament will become a worldwide tournament!"
The word worldwide caught everyone off-guard. "Wo-worldwide?" A student asked.
"You mean…people from all over will participate?" Another one asked.
"Yes. One of the board members suggested that it be worldwide. Now, all the details have not been worked out and the tournament won't be for a few months."
Some of the students started snickering, before one of them asked, "Mrs. Zanders, will…we we…haha…will we have school during the tournament?" They all tried to not laugh as if they knew they would have school off. But what Mrs. Zanders said next shut them right up.
"Whoever does not participate in the tournament will have to attend school."
"Aw crap…I better learn to duel…"
"Anyways, once I know all the details, as where it will be held and how teams will be set, I will let you all know."
"So, this is a team tournament?"
"Yes. Basically, there will be 3 duelists and a manager."
"So a team of four," Harper said to herself.
"Return to class and I'll update you all when I get updated." The students returned to their classes and while the lessons were going on, Keenan, Harper and Yamato, all having Mrs. Birch, started talking. "Can you believe it? A worldwide tournament!" Yamato said, but not too loud to be heard.
"I know…I'm so excited," Harper said. "What about you Keenan?"
"Yeah. I lost against Jin, Gus and Dextra and Nistro. I don't want to lose anymore. I want to grow stronger."
"So, do you two want to pick teams?" Yamato asked.
"I think we should wait until we know more about it." Harper said.
"Yeah, I guess." The three friends then listened to the lesson.
The next day, the black-clothed man, back in his black clothes, was standing on a rooftop looking out at the city. Seconds later, Jin and David appeared. "Why did you call us here? And who is this guy anyways?" David asked.
"I called you two here to tell you something. There will be a worldwide tournament taking place in a few months. There will be teams and I want you two to be on mine."
"Yeah right. I don't do teams."
"But here's the thing; you do. Because I have a feeling who you want to go after will also be entering the tournament."
"…Keenan…Trixie…Harper…"
"Exactly. And you…if you are not up for it, then I suggest saying goodbye to your mother."
"Have you no honor! Do not speak ill of my mother!"
"Then you two will join my team?" Neither Jin nor David confirmed, but the man still took that as a yes. He told them to use this time to train, since the tournament will not be a breeze. They walked off and the man smiled. Just then, something rang. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a cellphone. "Hello?"
"Is everything ready?"
"Yes. I have convinced them about the tournament. I just need to talk to the mayor. But it will not be hard to convince him."
"Good. Get on it."
"When will you arriving?"
"When the tournament starts. Send the details about the tournament when you get them."
"Right." The two hung up and the man walked away.
Later that day, the black-clothed man made a visit to the mayor. "Hello, what can I do for you young man?"
"I am with the Board of Education. You see, at first, a teacher at Heartland High School wanted to have a small tournament at the school. But I thought it would be better….to make it bigger. Worldwide."
"Worldwide?"
"Yes. And as you are the mayor, I want to get your consent. Then we can work on telling the world."
"Hmmm…interesting…it will take months to get things set up."
"I understand."
"Very well. I approve. I think it will be fun. Let's start shall we?"
Much to Keenan and Yamato's disgust, Harper dragged them shopping with Trixie. After getting food, they all went to the clothing store. Keenan and Yamato were uncomfortable but happy. Yamato said with a smile, "Hey, at least we get to see Harper in a bikini."
"Yeah…"
Unfortunately, Harper told the boys to go wait over there while she and Trixie went to try on bathing suits and clothes. "Aw man…" It ended up being literally 5 hours that the girls took trying on clothes. The boys fell asleep and so the girls decided that it would be funny to throw water on them. How they got the water was unknown, but they threw it on the boys and they shot up like rockets, their face red and them screaming. "OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW! HOT HOT HOT HOT!" They cried out. Harper and Trixie couldn't help but laugh. Eventually, the boys settled down, but were upset. "Hey! Why hot water! That burned!" Keenan said.
"Sorry…we…we thought it was funny." Harper said.
"Which it was." Trixie said, still giggling.
"Come on, we'll buy you some ice cream." The four friends headed over to the ice cream stand and the boys were allowed to buy whatever they wanted, to an extent. As they were eating, Keenan asked, "So how was the shopping?" He sounded uninterested though.
"Awesome! Harper looked so good in a bathing suit!" Trixie complimented. The boys looked at each other and started thinking what Harper looked like in a bathing suit. They blushed but Harper yelled, "Hey! Hey!
"S-sorry."
"Anyways, I didn't look that good in one."
"Uh, yeah you did!" Trixie said.
"Aw, thanks sis." Harper looked over and noticed Keenan looking at a card. "You okay Keenan?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I was just looking at Shining Werewolf. I haven't played him since I dueled Vince. Maybe that was why I was losing. Or maybe it was my skills."
"Shut-up."
"What?"
"Keenan, I'm so sick of your whining."
"I…"
"No. You lose one duel and you start crying like a baby. Just stop."
"Harper!" Yamato said.
"Yamato, he…never mind. Keenan, let's duel."
"What?"
"You heard me. You don't deserve to be the one to protect me if you act like a child. Let's duel."
"I…" Just then, surprisingly, Mr. Thompson walked up to the gang. "Oh, it's you all. Surprising to see you here. What's going on?" The four stayed silent. "Uh…did I miss something?"
"Oh no, we were just talking about the tournament. Did you hear Mr. Thompson?"
"I did. A worldwide tournament."
"So will you be entering?"
"Oh no…"
"Why? You are a Duel teacher."
"Yes. But I don't duel anymore. I teach it. Now I know it's a long ways away, but have you all decided on the teams? I heard they will be 3 duelists and a manager to a team."
"No, not yet sir."
"Well, can't wait to see the teams. I'll see you all later. And remember to do tonight's homework…you never know if I'll spring a pop quiz on you. Later." Mr. Thompson walked off. Yamato slumped back in his chair. "Oh great, a pop quiz tomorrow."
"He never said that." Trixie said.
"He didn't have to. You can just tell there's one."
"Good thing I'm not in that class."
"Hey Trixie. I've always wondered this about you but never asked. You're younger than us right?"
"Yeah. So?"
"How are you in the same grade? It just donned on me to ask."
"I skipped a grade. I may not look like it but I'm very smart."
"Of course you are."
"Hehe, thanks Yamato." Trixie said with a blush.
"Sorry about earlier," Harper said to Keenan.
"It's okay."
"Anyways, you guys want to head over to my house and watch a movie?" Trixie asked.
"Sure. What movie?" Harper asked.
"Not sure. My dad got one yesterday." The gang finished their ice cream and headed over to Trixie's house.
The mayor said goodbye to the black-clothed man and made a phone call. "Hello?" The voice on the other side asked.
"Hello. I think you should come back to Heartland City."
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Nothing. But there's a tournament approaching and you would be a great challenge to everyone."
"Maybe. I'll have to see."
"Wonderful."
"Will…he be in it?"
"I don't know. Everyone is invited, so most likely."
"Good. Goodbye." The two hung up.
Keenan was in his room, with his cards scattered. "The tournament's not for months, but I still need to be ready. It will prove how strong I can be." Keenan started rearranging cards and taking in and putting in cards.
