I don't own Divergent.

Hey, everyone! The famed Jayah Update is finally here! She really only says "hi" to our favorite characters, but at least she's here. I will add more with her later.

I'm still kinda busy, but I thought you guys would appreciate this nice, long update.

Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

The man sighs and sets Tobias down. Toby walks over to the bed unsteadily and lays next to me, again wrapping his arms around me. I press my face into his neck and exhale happily. I think I hear the man sigh, but then the door closes. I go back to sleep, shielded from the world by Tobias' strong arms.

"- always together," someone says.

I open my eyes suspiciously. Tobias is sound asleep next to me. I see my dad and mom, and I grin, waving them over. I make a shushing sound, pointing to Tobias. My dad raises an eyebrow, but he doesn't look angry at Tobias.

Tobias shifts ever so slightly in his sleep. I nestle my head back into his neck, and he sighs. A few minutes later, he shifts again and his lips find mine. "Sneaky," I whisper. "Nearly had me fooled."

He grins. "Me? I was asleep."

I raise my eyebrows. "Mmhm."

Tobias smirks. "We had better talk to your family."

I take his head in my hands. "In a minute. Tobias, how are you feeling?"

His eyes flicker away. "I don't want to talk about it right now."

"Tobias."

He bites his lip. "Please, Tris?"

"At least tell my how you're feeling physically," I beg.

"Well," he says, dragging the word out, "my back hurts, my face hurts, my arms hurt, my legs hurt - oh, hell, everything hurts."

I kiss him. He kisses me back for a second, and then pulls away. "Tobias," I whine.

"Your parents are in here," he reminds me, his whispered breath tickling my neck.

I moan into his ear. "You, Tobias Eaton, are annoying me immensely."

"Beatrice," my mother says gently.

I groan and sit up. Tobias rubs his eyes and does the same. I notice for the first time that all he's wearing is a pair of boxer shorts and some bandages. And his cast. Toby seems to notice this as well, because he reddens and pulls the blankets over his legs. I redden as well when I realize I'm in only my underwear and a tee shirt.

"Yeah?" My response is a few seconds late. Tobias' hand finds my legs and he gently squeezes.

Mom fights to contain a smile as she walks over and kisses my forehead, and then Tobias'. "I'm glad you two are okay."

Tobias is smiling faintly, but smiles a little wider when my father comes over, kisses my forehead, and claps Tobias on the shoulder. "Me, too. Tobias, thank you for keeping Natalie and Beatrice safe."

Tobias glows, and I smile at my father. Tobias opens his mouth to say something, but is cut off by someone opening the door.

"Jayah!" Chris protests. "Let them rest."

"No," a stubborn voice insists. "I want to meet them."

"Jayah," Christina warns.

A girl walks in. She looks to be about twelve - and she looks just like Christina. "I want to meet them," she repeats, crossing her arms.

Christina walks in after her. "Tris, Four, I'm sorry."

I yawn, and Tobias answers, "Who's this?"

"My little sister, Jayah."

"Why's she in Dauntless?" I ask. "It's not Visiting Day, is it?"

"Damn," Chris says, shaking her head, "they really have you hyped on pain meds, don't they?"

I look at Tobias. "Do they?"

He chuckles. "Probably."

Christina turns to her younger sister. "Okay, Jayah. Now that you've seen them, will you please let them rest?"

Jayah looks at us, eyes shining brightly. "Chrissy says you two are famous here."

Tobias and I look at each other and laugh. "Well, he did set a Dauntless record for lowest number of fears," I say at the same time as Four says, " Well, she did set a Dauntless record for quickest time out of a simulation."

Jayah giggles. "Chris was right. You two are crazy in love."

Tobias and I blush. Christina grabs her sister's arm. "Jayah! Leave them be!"

My mom kisses me on the forehead, and her and Dad walk out. Jayah tugs herself away from Chris and walks further in, and Chris follows her. "I don't want to, Chris!"

"Jayah!" Chris' voice is stern. "Get out of here now."

"You're not my mom!"

"At this point, I might as well be," Christina retorts, voice ice-cold.

Jayah takes one look at her and bursts into tears. "I hate you!" She runs out of the room.

"I'm sorry," Chris repeats.

"What's up with that?" Tobias asks. "And that stuff about you being her mom?"

Christina covers her eyes, and her shoulders shake with silent sobs. "Our parents died in a car crash while you two were kidnapped. They gave me Jayah to raise, because I'm her only living relative. And - and they gave me my little brother. He's four, and sitting with Shauna."

I get out of the bed shakily and walk over to Chris. I wrap my arms around her, wincing only slightly. "I'm so sorry, Chris," I whisper. "I'm sorry."

She coughs and, after a second, pulls away, smiling sadly. "Here," she says, handing me a duffel bag. "These are for you and Four. It's why I came here to begin with. And...thank you, Tris. It means a lot. I heard you gave Will a second chance. That was really brave of you. And selfless."

I smile back. "You're welcome. It really sucks...with your parents and Will and everything. And thanks for the duffel. I assume there are clothes in here?"

She grimaces. "Yeah. I better go after Jayah. See you guys."

"Bye Chris," I reply softly. I sit back down on the bed as she leaves, and Tobias gently grips my hips comfortingly.

"I love you, Tris," he says quietly. I sigh and turn around, pressing my face into his neck.

"I think I love you, too." I get off and rifle around in the duffel bag, pulling out clothes for Tobias and I. "Christina," I growl.

"What'd she do?" he asks, yawning.

"Only packed me lingerie for underwear," I answer, sighing.

He stops mid-yawn. "Really?"

I punch him lightly in the arm. "Don't be gross, Toby."

Tobias grins. "You know, this could be a very good oppurtunity to do your end of the deal."

"Fine." Then I groan. "What did I just agree to?"

He grins. "Go on. Go change."

I gently smack him on the head. "You're such a perv, Tobias."

He grabs my head gently. "But I'm a perv you like."

I kiss his cheek. "I like you too, Tobias." Then I get up, lock the door, walk into the the bathroom, and change. I wince only slightly.

When I walk out, Tobias is drinking water, and, when he sees me, he chokes. "Wow," he breathes once he gets the water out of his lungs. "Wow. Tris, you look fucking amazing."

I kiss his forehead and pull a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of sweatpants on. "Thank you, Tobias. It means a lot." Then I hand him a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie. "Go change, babe."

Tobias gets up and kisses me on the cheek. "You're beautiful, my love." Then he reddens. "Do you mind helping me?"

I shake my head and help him get the sweatshirt on. Then he pulls the sweatpants on, and we situate ourselves back on the bed. I snuggle into him and begin to doze off. "Tobias," I murmur, "we should go see Westin while we're in the hospital. We promised..."
