A/N: So, this is kind of long. Please forgive me (or love me, if you like longer stories).

OllieLovesDinah: I will definitely be around for Season 4. I want to see how they redeem themselves after the manure they gave us this season. The good writers did leave… unfortunately, but the two minutes Laurel was given on that show gave me enough hope to see what comes next. After all, it'd be very interesting to see her and Iris interact. I'll keep writing over the summer for different possibilities I'd love to see on the show (did you see the trailer for Legends of Tomorrow yet? It looks sweet!)

Usual Disclaimers Apply. Enjoy!

Four hundred hours later, Oliver Queen was looking up at a full night sky. He was standing on the beach, where his feet were in the wet sand. The breeze caressed his face. He smiled at the full moon hovering over the ocean.

Unsettlement creeped into his stomach. His body shook from it. It's hard to remember a time when I was actually in love with you.

Fourteen days into retirement, those words sank into his subconscious and now he can't shake them. He wondered if she even knew.

His heart told him that she knew, like she always does, about the different forms of chaos crawling under his skin. About the way that he wants to jump up and run every time he sees an image of her… which has been everywhere… and about how he wants to jump at the chance to return to the city less than a month after he proclaimed retirement.

Twelve hours in, he noticed the first hand shaking. It wasn't really perplexing why his hand shook. He knew all the adrenaline he'd been subjected to over the years finally wore him down. What wasn't explainable… was him seeing Laurel when he and Felicity were between the sheets.

He was imagining another woman when the one who made him happy was beneath him… It didn't make much sense.

Silence was never his ally, and it hit him the most when he was awake and Felicity was asleep.

He used to talk hours with Laurel, about everything and anything. He exhausted Felicity out to the point where she needed sleep. It was a compliment, to be sure, but he wanted to talk. Silence was not the best thing for him to have.

Because his mind would wander. And when it wandered, it strayed. It centered on the one person, besides Thea, that mattered most to him. And he wasn't ready for those thoughts. He wanted to be content with Felicity. He didn't need a reminder of something, of everything that he wanted.

She wasn't ready. And he couldn't support her right now… Not as broken as he was.

Twenty hours in, he came to the realization. He was going to cherish every moment with Felicity, even if his mind was plaguing him with thoughts of another woman. He didn't want to let his affection for Felicity to die. So, he made sure he reminded himself why he fell in love with her in the first place.

He didn't like his findings. He knew Laurel would laugh at him for the insights, but he examined them anyways.

I fell in love… Just like Laurel said. Head in… Without any remorse. He sat on the beach house back porch a lot, gazing at the water, and thinking about the conversations he and Laurel had in the last year. He figured he owed something to Felicity, and to this new person he was trying to be, but he felt the gnawing sensation that his past self didn't want to give up.

The Arrow is dead, he told himself over and over. While he ran up and down the beach for hours on end, he would tell himself that one part of his life had closed and another, better one, had opened.

But he felt like he abandoned her. And it didn't sit well with him.

It never did.

Forty-seven hours in, he decided he needed a break from thinking. He becomes exhausted by hour fifty-nine, but his eyes won't close. He didn't want to see her face.

Or have the dream of her lying on the bed beside him, grinning at him contentedly. With him returning her grin with a smirk of his own, and a feeling twenty thousand times more intense than what he felt driving away from Starling City with Felicity.

He was content.

Sixty hours in, he finally broke down. He called her number and waited. He heard her sleepy voice on the other end of the line. "Lance."

"It's me," he whispered as he walked to the back deck. He sat down on a chair overlooking the ocean. He heard the rustling of her bed sheets.

"Ollie?" she whispered. He nodded and he heard her sigh against the sheet. "It's two in the morning. What's wrong?"

"I needed to hear your voice," he whispered. He heard her scoff and then a small chuckle. "I'm serious."

"Go back to your lover," Laurel stated. He heard a click. Oliver gazed down at the phone and grinned.

She was pissed. Laurel Lance did not like people interrupting the precious hours of sleep she could manage to get. Longtime friendship aside, Laurel wasn't in an appreciating mood. She turned on the light and rubbed her eyes.

He was a pain in the ass.

But one she missed so much she ached. Not that he'd ever know that. Nor would he realize that Thea moved in with Laurel, leaving the loft for Oliver.

Thea's door creaked open and she made her way to Laurel's room. Thea climbed into bed next to Laurel. Laurel gazed at her. "Nightmares again?"

Thea nodded. Laurel swung herself back up into bed and smiled at Thea. Thea looked at her. "Why're you up?"

"Your brother decided to call me," Laurel mumbled. She shrugged. "He's not adjusting well to the adrenaline withdrawal, I guess. He'll get over it."

"What are we going to do about our hideout? Ray's…" Thea started. Laurel nodded.

"He's recovering," she finished. Thea gazed at Laurel. "We'll figure something out. John and I'll figure it out."

It was the first Saturday. Oliver sat on the back deck watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee in his hand. He watched the waves come in and out of the sand, and felt that familiar twitch. He heard the door open and felt lips against his cheek and neck. He smiled up at the face those lips belonged to. He kissed her slowly, waiting for the moment to build, but was disappointed again.

He gently ended the kiss. She sat on his lap and drank out of his cup. Anger started to bubble up in his gut. He shut it down.

She didn't know. He wondered if she would ever know.

"There's a fresh pot in the kitchen," he mused. She turned her face to him and smiled at him beautifully.

"Why would I want that when I can just drink some of yours?" she whispered and nipped at his lips. Oliver nipped back, wanting another moment, but found it stale.

He gazed at the sun coming into its place, ever rotating around the earth, and felt the restlessness intensify.

"What do you want to do today?" Felicity asked him. He stared at her for a long moment. Oliver brought his arms around her back and under her knees. He lifted her and carried her back into the house.

Laurel stood in STAR Labs with Thea. She gazed at Cisco. "We need help to get an independent.. communication device… for our team. Oliver and Felicity are on a longterm vacation."

"Sucks," Cisco shook his head. He looked at Thea. "I mean, for the team, of course. Oliver deserves a vacation… and he needs a break. Everyone does once in a while, right?"

"It's fine," Thea shrugged. "We're continuing the work without him. He doesn't really matter right now."

Laurel gazed at Cisco. "Do you have anything that can help us?"

Cisco fiddled with the idea. "There is something… But Barry…"

"If she likes them, she can go with them," Barry stated as he walked through the door. He motioned for them to follow. Laurel and Thea walked as he showed them a wall. Laurel crossed her arms. He held up a hand to the wall. A section disappeared, making room for a door. He walked through. Laurel and Thea followed. "Hello, Gideon."

A digital blue woman's form appeared. She smiled at Barry. "Hello, Barry."

Laurel and Thea paused. Thea pointed and Laurel held a hand over her mouth. Gideon took both their presences in and smiled.

"It is a pleasure to see you again, Mrs. Queen," Gideon greeted. Thea touched Laurel's shoulder. "And Ms. Queen… Or should I call you Black Canary and Speedy?"

"Mrs. Queen?" Thea looked at Gideon. Gideon nodded. Thea looked at Laurel's stunned face. Gideon took it in as well.

"I did not mean to distress you, Mrs. Queen," she apologized. "It has been many years since we have conversed. I have missed our debates."

"Debates?" Laurel finally asked. It was in a quiet tone, but everyone noted Gideon's enthusiastic nod.

"Yes," Gideon said giddily. "You taught me legal logistics… and constantly asked questions to challenge my views of the world. I hope we learn more together… whatever I may help with, my services are yours as well as Barry's."

"Why did you call her Mrs. Queen?" Thea asked. Gideon turned to Thea. "Oliver's seeing Felicity."

Gideon blinked. "Mrs. Queen… why is Felicity Smoak with Mr. Queen? Is there trouble or feelings we need to discuss?"

"We're not married," Laurel stated. Gideon blinked at her surprised. Laurel looked at Barry. "How did you acquire Gideon?"

"Eobard brought me back with him during his travels… to eliminate Barry's mother," Gideon explained. "He and the others on his team discovered me a few weeks ago."

"And I apparently invented her," Barry supplied. Thea and Laurel gazed at him astounded. "In the future. She's been a big help… but she hasn't been as animated with me as I've seen her."

"Mrs. Queen holds my respect, Barry," Gideon informed him. "She is one of the greatest legal minds of your generation, as you have probably seen. She entrusted me with her legacy - keeping the world as moral as possible. Without Mrs. Queen, I wouldn't have… turned out as I have. You are my creator, but she is my teacher."

Laurel blinked. "Why are you… why do you think Oliver and I are married?"

Gideon turned to her. She smiled. "Shall I draw up a wedding photograph?"

Before Laurel could say yes or no, a wedding photograph appeared in front of them. Thea gasped. Laurel brought a hand to her mouth and tears came to her eyes.

Oliver was standing by Laurel, with his hand on her back, and another hand grabbing her hand closest to his body. The wedding party photo showed Barry, John, and a figure that brought tears to Laurel's eyes.

"How is Tommy alive?" Laurel asked. She gazed at the figures in her party. Thea, Iris, and… Sara stood by her side. "Sara? Is this some kind of joke?"

"No, Mrs. Queen," Gideon quickly stated. "Thomas Merlyn and Sara Lance are brought back from the dead by the Lazarus Pit. Nyssa Lance made sure of it."

"Nyssa… Lance?" Laurel questioned. Gideon nodded quickly. "She and Sara get married?"

"Two weeks after Sara is resurrected… which should be soon, if the timetables are on the right track." Gideon smiled at Laurel. "This year's Thanksgiving will be interesting."

"Yeah," Barry laughed. Laurel turned to him. He shrugged. "You guys are welcome to our house. Joe and I are always bored."

"Mrs. Queen, what services do you require of me?" Gideon asked suddenly. Laurel sighed and told her. Gideon kept quiet until Laurel was finished. Gideon looked at Laurel's purse. "Do you, perchance, carry a cell phone?"

"Yes," Laurel answered. Gideon smiled again. "Why?"

"The simplest way for me to come with you… is for you to have a phone downloaded with my program in it. That way, I can communicate with you and Barry."

"Barry'll have to set you up in the main room," Thea commented. Gideon nodded. Barry shrugged. "Will Cisco like the renovations?"

"Whatever helps you guys out the most… And I can start recreating a version of her to fit over at your base, if you want." Gideon looked at him astonished. "Or do we not want to?"

"You will invent me in twenty years, Barry, not now. I am simply giving my aid to Mrs. Queen. I do not want her offended." Gideon shook her head. "And…"

"Everything is distorted now, though, isn't it?" Laurel questioned her. "If Dr. Wells brought you from the future, then Barry seeing you creates a ripple effect anyways. We've inadvertently been exposed to events that have happened earlier on our timeline.. than the one that you came from."

"It all exists within the same timeline," Gideon explained. "It is hard to explain the existence of the Speed Force… but Barry's time war with Eobard will begin soon."

Laurel nodded. "But doesn't that mean events that happened in your line may not happen in ours?"

"If you are worried about your sister, then it will happen. The time stream settles itself out, Mrs. Queen. Certain events are destined to happen. They are fixed points in time… and cannot be unchanged."

"What would happen if Barry goes back in time and kills Hitler?" Laurel asked. Gideon considered the question for a moment.

"Then someone else would rise to power and commit a similar situation to his," Gideon answered. "It is an absolute certainty."

Laurel paused for a moment. "I will give you my response soon."

"I look forward to your rebuttal," Gideon returned. Laurel smiled and handed Barry a cell phone. "Is that yours?"

"Yes," Laurel answered. Gideon began to look apprehensive. "What's wrong?"

"If Mr. Queen does not have a way to contact you, he will be upset," Gideon answered. Laurel shrugged. "This is a very important matter, Mrs. Queen."

"It's one cell phone and one number. I'll change the number and give it to him when he gets back," Laurel reasoned. "He's got Thea's number. She's more important."

Gideon seemed reluctant and Barry spoke up. "I'll tell him, Gideon. That way everything will be okay."

Gideon smiled in relief. "Then I will download myself into your phone… And we will establish a plan of action when we return to the new Arrow headquarters."

Laurel put her phone on the stand. "Thank you… Gideon."

"As always, Mrs. Lance," Gideon concluded. She disappeared and a blue light came from the cell phone. "Transfer complete. When you are ready, we can depart."

When Barry brought them back to Starling, Thea collapsed to the ground. She was laughing. Laurel frowned at her.

Oliver kept busy for ten days. He did hours of running, hours of preoccupying Felicity, and even more sleeping. He slept so much he thought he would turn into Sleeping Beauty.

But the twitch wouldn't go away. He needed to call her. He didn't care about the repercussions. He needed to hear her voice. He dialed the number. He heard the initial dialtone, and then a beep. "This number is no longer in service."

Oliver hung up and tried again. He tried three times. By the fourth call, his twitch turned into a tremor.

One he didn't want to think about.

Laurel was quickly setting up the base as Thea came running in. "He's here."

"What?" Laurel asked as she set up a monitor. She put her phone next to it and Gideon appeared on the screen. Laurel started setting up the remote operating system that Cisco had designed for Gideon. Gideon watched Cisco walk into the room, gently take the different parts from Laurel's hands, and Laurel turned to Gideon. "I can't do anything."

"It is for your safety, Mrs. Queen," Gideon responded. Laurel rolled her eyes at Thea's chuckle and Cisco's snort.

"Gideon, if Oliver comes back, please do not call me 'Mrs. Queen'," Laurel asked.

"Yes, Mrs. Queen," Gideon answered. Laurel sighed and turned to Thea. She raised an eyebrow.

"Oliver's walking into the building right now," Thea told her. Laurel froze. They heard clicking sounds and a satisfied grunt from Cisco.

"Hardware's installed, Gideon," Cisco announced. He took the phone over to the device and Gideon breathed a virtual breath. She smiled her thanks to Cisco. Cisco nodded. "You're welcome."

He handed Laurel back her phone. The normal display appeared. Laurel gaped at the number of missing calls. She looked at Gideon. "Did you know about this?"

Gideon nodded and disappeared. Laurel looked at Cisco. Cisco shrugged. "So, I haven't heard from Ray for a few days…"

"He's still recovering," Thea supplied. Laurel and Cisco looked at her amazed. "What? I like to know what's going on with my family's company."

"Laurel!" Oliver's voice bellowed. Thea froze and Cisco gazed at Laurel apprehensively. Laurel rolled her eyes. Gideon appeared in full body form sitting on a virtual blue chair with a virtual bucket of popcorn. Laurel gazed at her in amazement.

"I'm preparing myself for the show," Gideon explained. "It's been ages since I've seen a fight between you two."

Before Laurel could respond, Oliver entered the room. Cisco stood in front of Gideon, but Oliver only had eyes for Laurel. "Your phone number changed."

"My phone had an accident," Laurel supplied. She narrowed her eyes. "Why are you so concerned? Weren't you on the beach somewhere with Felicity?"

"If I can't get in contact with you, how do I know you'll be okay?" Oliver returned. He crossed his arms and Laurel shrugged.

"I can take care of myself," Laurel responded. "Don't worry. That's my superpower."

Oliver glowered. "You and Thea running around in the city while others aren't here isn't safe."

"It's not just them," Diggle spoke up as he walked into the new base. He set his things down on a long table and looked at Cisco. The two shared a nod. Diggle looked at Laurel and coughed out his chuckle. "We've been working up to being a team for the last few weeks. We've been patrolling and Cisco's been helping us create an independent patrolling listener. Or whatever he calls it."

"She shouldn't have a dead phone, John," Oliver told him. Laurel scoffed at him. "What? You're not as experienced as I am. You don't know…"

"You're not qualified to give me advice," Laurel retorted. She shot him a glare. "Go back to your beach house and leave me alone."

"No," he yelled. Laurel walked up to him and met his stare from a nose length apart. He glared at her and she glared at him. "I'm not leaving until you tell me everything is okay."

"Everything is fine. Now leave," Laurel ordered him. She pointed to the door. He shook his head. Laurel started to continue, but her phone rang. She answered it without looking at the number. "Hello?"

"Hey, beautiful," the voice on the other end said. Laurel took a step back from Oliver and brought a hand to her mouth. "I know you've got a lot of questions."

"Where are you?" she asked with a shaky voice.

"Nanda Parbat," he responded. Laurel lowered herself to a chair. "I'm not alone."

"Hey, sis!" she could hear in the background as well as Nyssa voicing her concerns over an issue. She heard his chuckle.

"Crazy, isn't it?" he asked her. Laurel nodded and before she could speak, Gideon told her.

"Barry was just informed. They should be here momentarily." Gideon stated to the room. Oliver blinked and then looked at Cisco a few times. Cisco moved and Gideon rose from the blue chair. "It has been a long time, Mr. Queen."

"How do you know me?" he asked suspiciously. Gideon gazed at Cisco. Cisco coughed and explained. Oliver nodded. "Why are you here?"

"Your team needed assistance," Gideon explained. She glanced at Laurel. "I did not want to disappoint… Laurel."

Oliver's eyes narrowed. "You don't normally call her 'Laurel', do you?"

Gideon sighed. "I was asked to not give spoilers, Mr. Queen."

Oliver turned to Laurel. "How much do you know about this?"

"Enough," she stated. Oliver crossed his arms at her. "She was Barry's solution. We're working with her until she's had enough of us."

"Mrs… Laurel, you don't mean that," Gideon admonished. Laurel raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh. That was humor. I see. Thank you."

"What was she just about to call you?" Oliver stated.

"Probably something you don't want to hear," a very familiar voice stated from the entrance. Laurel walked to the figure and hugged him tightly. Oliver stood frozen. Laurel leaned back and heard other footsteps come towards her. Laurel hugged the woman tightly and cried on her shoulder.

"Hi," Sara breathed in Laurel's presence and cried into Laurel's shoulder. Nyssa walked up behind them and hugged them both close.

Oliver stood frozen as Tommy walked toward him. Thea hugged him tightly before Oliver could reach him. She squeezed him. Tommy laughed. "Guess we're related, huh?"

Thea nodded. She burrowed into Tommy's chest and Tommy hugged her back. He whispered, "I'm proud of you."

She cried into his shoulder. Oliver walked over and hugged Tommy and Thea. Tommy hugged him as much as he was able. Oliver gazed at Tommy for a long moment. Before either man could say anything, Felicity's voice echoed from the hallway.

"Oliver," she called out. Oliver gazed at the doorway. Everyone moved back. Tommy pointed to Gideon and gazed silently at Laurel. She shook her head an mouthed, "later", to him. Sara kept her sister within arm's reach. Laurel held Thea on the other side.

Nyssa stood next to Sara, and Tommy leaned on Thea. Diggle stood with Cisco, both of them reviewing specific things about Gideon's hardware. Cisco explained to Diggle, "She's pretty much does it automatically, but I still like to see her hardware to make sure that everything is okay physically."

Gideon gazed at Diggle. "Don't worry, John, I'll help you with my check ups."

Cisco grinned. "See? She's awesome."

Diggle nodded. He looked around at the other people in the room. "Hey, Felicity."

Felicity waved at him. She stood transfixed by Gideon. "How's that possible?"

"By the very minds in this room," Gideon responded. Gideon gazed at Felicity. "Felicity Smoak. Head of Queen Industries' Technology and Peace department."

"Queen Industries?" Thea questioned. Gideon nodded and almost spoke, before Laurel held up a hand. "Right. Spoilers. Sorry, Gideon."

Gideon nodded. "It is all right, Ms. Queen."

Diggle crossed his arms. "How much future information has she given out?"

"Enough," Laurel answered. She gazed at Gideon. "It's an ongoing debate."

"I firmly believe they have the right to know, Mrs… Laurel," Gideon informed them. "I will not change my position."

"Nor should you, if you think it's right," Laurel retorted. She gazed at the people around her. "But, you should know that people don't need to be dictated by future actions. They can change their path any time they want. Regardless of destiny's pull, we all have a choice."

Gideon considered her response for a moment. She looked at everyone in the room and then at Thea. "Ms. Queen, could I please talk to your brother and Laurel in private, please?"

Thea nodded. "We can go back to my place to celebrate…"

Thea grouped everyone together and walked them toward the door. Felicity gazed at Oliver, and he nodded at her. "Just a quick meeting and we'll be back on our way to the beach house."

Laurel crossed her arms and glared at him until the door was firmly closed behind Thea. Gideon looked at Laurel. "May I tell him?"

Laurel shrugged. "It's seems like that's your plan."

"Mr. Queen, I do apologize for my actions," Gideon commented. "But, Mrs. Queen was adamant that you would not be worried by her disappearance."

"Mrs. Queen?" Oliver asked. Laurel scoffed and Gideon looked at him amazed. "What?"

Gideon pulled up a virtual picture and showed it to him on one of the screens. "April 2016, Mr. Queen. You and Mrs. Queen get married."

Oliver gazed at the picture, stunned. He turned to Laurel. "You hid this from me?"

"You were preoccupied with Felicity," Laurel stated. "And Gideon and I have been having this conversation for a few days. She persistently believes you're still in love with me and I can't live without you."

"Can you?" he asked her bluntly. Laurel's eyes narrowed at him. "Because I've been going through some kind of withdrawal the last few days."

"A loss of constant adrenaline can do that to you," Laurel supplied. Oliver shook his head. "It is possible to live without you, you know."

"Not very well," he stated conceitedly. Laurel crossed her arms at him. He shrugged. "You didn't."

"And you didn't without me, so why are you starting this argument?" Laurel asked him. Oliver silently glared at her. "Go back to Felicity. Leave me alone."

"No," he said stubbornly. Laurel shook her head at him. "I couldn't get in touch with you."

"So? Felicity was with you," Laurel stated. Oliver shook his head. "Thea's safe. That's all that matters."

"No, it isn't," Oliver insisted. He looked at her. "Why did you offer your phone?"

"To get Gideon here," Laurel replied. She walked toward the door. "You don't get to question me, remember that."

"Why did you offer your phone?" he repeated with a louder voice. Laurel turned back to him and glared at him. He glared back. "Why?"

"Because i didn't need it," she answered. "And I'm done with answering to you or my father."

"No one's asking you to answer to them," Oliver argued. Laurel scoffed and sighed irritably.

"Yeah, they are," she pointed at him. "What do you think you're doing right now? Asking me all the obtuse questions. You don't have any right to ask them. The one you should concern yourself with is Felicity."

Oliver glared at Laurel. "Felicity is fine. I…"

"Leave me alone," Laurel stated in a brittle voice. Oliver took a step toward her. She held up her hand. She closed her eyes and her body shook. When she opened her eyes, she gazed at him determinedly. "Go back to your lover."

"No!" his voice boomed. She shook at him. He took two steps toward her and she took two steps toward the door. His tone lowered. "Why are you running?"

"Because… I can't handle it, Ollie," she looked up at him and tears welled in her eyes. Her voice quavered. "I can't… I'm not strong… not when it comes to us. Go. She… needs you. Go… back to Felicity."

Oliver marched toward her and hugged her for a long moment. His lips came to her ear. He gruffly said, "I… everything I've done… always centered on the decision to protect you and Thea. Nothing else matters. No one else matters, Laurel. You're my family."

She cried into his shoulder. He felt tears well up in his eye sockets and drip down his cheeks. He held her tightly.

"I can't lose you," he whispered. He kissed her ear lightly. "You and Thea… that's it."

Laurel withdrew from his arms. She stood a foot away from him. "What about everything else?"

Oliver shrugged. "We'll figure it out."

"Felicity Smoak does turn out well… despite this bump in the road," Gideon offered. Oliver and Laurel looked at him. "And I believe Mr. Queen would really like to see another picture, Mrs. Queen."

Laurel sighed. "The dance one?"

Gideon nodded. "With your blessing?"

"Please," Laurel said and ran a hand across her forehead. Oliver watched Gideon bring up a large picture. It took his breath away.

He was in a tuxedo with the bow tie undone and a vest slightly unbuttoned. His coat was off, showing the white shirt underneath. Laurel was in an a-line, strapless wedding dress. The train was about three feet behind her and Oliver was smiling down at her. Laurel had her head tilted back and she was laughing at him.

He looked at her now and felt his heart thump. "You're beautiful."

Laurel smiled. "We were apparently the number one social event in Starling City that year."

Oliver nodded. He observed her for a long moment. "If I set everything right… would it be a possibility?"

"Anything is possible," Laurel answered as she gazed at that photo. Her eyes turned to Oliver. "But I'm not settling for half of you this time."

She walked out of the room and Oliver turned to Gideon. Gideon watched Laurel walk away with a sad expression on her face. "You need to fix this, Mr. Queen."

"She doesn't want anything to do with me," Oliver responded. Gideon looked at him angrily. "What?"

She sighed irritably. A black screen appeared. Hissing sounds were heard in the background. A light appeared and a slightly older Oliver appeared on the screen. He had his green hood thrown back and he was gazing at the screen intensely.

"Gideon, record this and save it… No matter what happens, if you find them, show them this," the voice stated determinedly. He looked at the screen. "So, I'm either your future self… or an alternate dimension future self. Whatever. You need to know one thing: don't let Laurel… she's everything, man. She got you off that fucking island and saved you from suicide many times. Don't let the light go out."

"What was that from?" Oliver asked. Gideon took a moment, carefully constructing her answer.

"Your potential future self… or maybe a self that knows you, but is in another dimension because of… Barry's time traveling adventures," Gideon supplied. She gazed at him seriously. "Please."

Oliver nodded and walked to the door. He paused for a moment. "I guess… thank you, Gideon."

Gideon nodded. Oliver walked out of the room. Gideon sighed. She looked around. "Mr. and Mrs. Queen… I can't wait for our next heated discussion. I am very glad you are back to being who you are… Mr. Queen. You had me worried there for a moment."

Oliver ran towards Laurel. He grabbed her arm and turned her to him. "I'll change. And make everything right."

Laurel nodded. "Well, have fun with that. I'm going to be busy the next few days getting this new base up and running."

Oliver looked at her for a moment. "Do you need a sidekick?"

"No, I'm borrowing Nyssa." Laurel walked out to the street. "And Diggle's got the training covered. Thea's coming in. Go back to your vacation."

"Let me be your sidekick," Oliver said bluntly. Laurel stopped and stared at him. He shrugged. "I guess it was a short retirement."

"What about discovering the man you are now with Felicity?" Laurel asked him. Oliver shrugged again. Laurel ran a hand through her hair.

"I'm not whole," he told her. He looked around on the dark street. "Can we be broken together?"

"Get your shit together first," Laurel muttered. She walked away. She didn't see his expression.

Oliver Queen was grinning like a fool. "Whatever you say… Mrs. Queen."

A/N: There it is! It's a long one (and Gideon is probably OOC… but, I don't really care).

Next chapter will deal with what happened on the Flash finale… Or what Laurel would do if she was in contact with Joe.

Because that'd be a cool relationship.

Anyways…

Until Next Time,
