The caramel horse softly nickered as Sora brushed him. "Like this?"

"Exactly," one of the horse hands instructed. "Nice and steady strokes."

"You're a sweetie aren't you?" Sora cooed.

"Ok, now you can give him the treat."

Sora lifted up a sugar cube, watching with fascination as the horse's lips inched for it. "Haha that tickles!"

"This one's got a sweet tooth, but he's superfast." The trainer patted the horse's neck. "We make sure he burns it off later so we're not too worried about him kicking in his stall from restlessness."

"That sounds a little scary."

"It can be," the woman acknowledged, "a horse kick can shatter bones."

"Oh my goodness…"

"You wanna ride him?"

"What?!"

PW

Leon and Layla were out in the pasture by the fencing, their prep teams doing quick make-up touch ups.

"Is Sora still worried about the contest?" Layla inquired as someone brushed her hair.

"Yes and no," Leon murmured, trying not to move too much as his studs were changed. "I'm trying to keep her too occupied to think about it."

A little shriek came from the barn and a whinny. Leon tensed upon recognizing it as Sora's, but then her laughter sounded out.

Immediately, he relaxed.

"You really care for her."

Leon quirked a brow. "Of course."

Layla gave a faint grin. "Straightforward as usual." The stylist moved away and Layla shook her hair a little. "One of the reasons I like working with you."

"Don't let Sora hear you say that," he joked. "She might get jealous."

"If there's anyone who should get jealous, it's you."

"What?"

Cathy called out for the horses. Layla looked as a pure white horse was led to her.

"The winners of the contest were announced this morning," she said without looking at him.

"Multiple winners?"

"A temporary draw," Layla murmured, "but they'll soon settle it. However, on the news, Sora's exs were interviewed." She turned to him as a black horse was brought over, "I recommend you see those interviews."

Leon frowned a little.

"Ok people! Let's get going!" Cathy called out.

PW

"Easy horsie," Sora nervously said.

The caramel horse nickered and then shook its head.

"You're comfortable on the saddle now?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Ok, let's go for a walk out on the small track," the trainer started to say, "but first let me grab the training rope. Wait here."

"Ok."

She tapped her heels along the horse's side. The horse started trodding out of the barn. Sora tightly gripped the reins in surprise.

"I didn't mean to do that!"

She pulled on the reins. The horse stopped.

She let out a relieved breath. Then, though, she tapped the horse's side again.

"So that's go and the reins…"

She pulled on it slightly. The horse stopped.

She grinned to herself. This is easy. What did she need training for? With that in mind, she tapped a little harder.

The horse went faster than before.

"Not that fast!"

PW

Cathy had called for a break when it happened.

Screaming could be heard as a caramel horse and a redheaded rider sprinted across the pasture, two trainers on horses coming behind her but not as fast. Leon dropped his water bottle and quickly mounted his black horse.

Cathy snagged her camera, quickly put on the distance lens scope and started snapping like crazy. Leon's horse was kicking up dirt as they rushed over to the caramel horse, his white and black cowboy hat in one hand as he held the reins. Sora's hair was whipping around everywhere as she clung on for dear life, having lost hold of the reins a while ago in favor of the horse's neck.

"This is amazing!" Cathy crowed.

Layla shook her head. A woman's life was in danger, but as long as it made great shots, Cathy was all for it.

PW

Sora didn't know how long she was screaming.

It was one part exhilaration, two parts terrified. She was on a superfast, sugar high horse that wasn't paying attention to her 'heel' command or 'slow' command, preferring to see how fast it could go.

She'd be excited too if she knew she wasn't going to die. "Too fast you hyped up horse!" She gave him one freaking sugar cube. One. How in the world can he still be running on one measly sugar cube?

"Sora!"

She shot a quick look back. "I want off this ride!"

"Did you pull on the reins?"

"Yes!" she shrieked. "Over and over again! I even promised him my future children if he stopped!"

"What?!"

"I was desperate and not thinking straight!"

"Alright, the horse is slowing down! I'm coming up alongside you!"

She heard Leon goad his horse on and she could hear the horse's hooves beating hard on the ground. She saw Leon come near her and she felt him grab the reins of her horse. Then, with his free hand, he quickly wrapped his arm around her waist.

She didn't need to be told to grab onto him. She practically launched herself onto him and clung on even though she was no longer on the caramel horse.

"The trainers will get the horse," she heard him say.

"He'll probably faint soon."

He shook his head. He highly doubted it.

Leon stopped his horse. "You can let go."

She shook her head against his neck.

"Hey, look at me." He cupped her face, making her look up, "you're fine now. I know how to ride."

She looked at him and then down at his open black cowboy outfit. "You look kind of good." Her eyes lidded a little, "your rescue was really hot."

He grinned and put his hat back on. "I'm that and more, my dear."

"Conceited," she laughed. "Continue like that and you're going home alone."

PW

On the bed Sora straddled Leon as she kissed him.

Her hands ran up and down his bare chest as her hips grinded against him. He groaned into her kiss, his own hands running up and down her bare sides.

He knew she'd come home with him, whether he continued boasting or not. He grinned as she nibbled on his neck. He reached around her, finding her bra clasp.

Oreo's clawing on the closed bedroom door was faint, but hardly noticeable to either one.

PW

Sora still lay on top of him as she caught her breath.

He didn't think he was ever going to get rid of the image of her wild hair as they made love. He hadn't thought he'd like reversing positions, quite frankly, but there were a lot of things he liked if it meant Sora was involved.

"You can ride me anytime," he lightly panted.

She smacked his chest in embarrassment. "No filter. Whatsoever."

He smirked as she curled herself on his chest. He liked this saving business. He liked it a lot.

"I'm napping now."

He grunted his consent. It sounded good to him.

Her phone rang out. She groaned.

"Seriously?" with a sigh, she rolled off of him and reached over to the bedside table. "Hello?..This is she speaking…"

She suddenly sat up, jaw unhinged.

"My cat's where?!"

PW

Sora sullenly carried the cat carrier as she climbed up the steps to her apartment.

"Un-freaking-believable…" Sora groused, looking down at Richie. "You're supposed to be a guy cat! Not getting pregnant with who knows whose babies…"

"Did you know Richie had gotten loose?" Leon asked.

"No!" Sora shot out, "because I told Auntie May to keep him indoors! Err, her." She paused on the steps. "I guess that explains why Richie kept trying to get out. Little kitty mating hormones or something."

"You should have gotten her fixed before she matured."

"Well I thought she was a he!" she shoved the key into the lock. "Really Richie. Getting pregnant in the middle of a funeral service? Mommy's ashamed."

Richie meowed and then licked her paw.

"Yeah, you have no shame." Sora covered her face. "You know how embarrassing it was picking you up from the dead guy's grave site?"

"It was a little humorous," Leon chuckled.

"Ah," Sora pointed to the barely opened window, "and that is where the convict escaped. How in the world did you cram yourself through?"

"Desperate times calls for desperate measures." Leon sat on the couch. "Besides, we don't know for sure if Richie's pregnant."

Sora gave Leon a deadpanned look. "Knowing Richie, she probably is."

He looked at her with an indescribable expression. "What would you do if I got you pregnant?"

She stared at him wide eyed. "What would I do? What would you do? You're the celeb."

"I'd support you, of course." He gave her a little grin, "Also put a ring on it," he wiggled his ring finger.

She froze. "A ring? You'd marry me only if you got me pregnant?"

"No, that – I was trying to be humorous –"

"That's not really funny, Leon."

"Yes, I can see that now. I apologize."

"Kind of can't get rid of the thought," she muttered.

"Well I can't get rid of the thought of you and the reporter," he replied back with a bit of ice, "but I don't complain about it. Nor of Yuri."

"They're in the past, Leon."

"Yuri, perhaps. But not Ken."

Sora sighed. "I think we're both overreacting right now. Please, go, but don't think you can't come back."

She leaned over and kissed his cheek. He turned her face and kissed her lips.

"I'd marry you, child or not," he murmured.

The front door closed as he left. She rubbed her arms subconsciously.

"That's what I'm afraid of," she whispered to herself.

AN: Ooo the tough questions are up in the air!

I don't know much about horses, so sorry if I got the horse stuff wrong. Though, I did dramatize stuff on purpose.
