SUDDEN.
It was the scariest thing she had ever seen. She backed away from it, cringing in disgust. Her stomach jolted when she sensed Danny's presence come up next to her. She had spent enough time with his ghost-half to recognize its unique aura. "It's ugly," she rasped.
"Yep," he agreed tonelessly. He was more used to this than she was.
Simply put, it was a zombie. A ghost, one that for some reason just couldn't disconnect completely from its original body and separate, fading into the Ghost Zone. It was rotting and it stunk. Danny had opted to keep Sam and Tucker away from things like it for as long as possible, if one was bit by a zombie, they'd be contaminated.
But, they were his friends, and could tell when something was being hidden.
So, showing his friends a zombie...well, she'd seen it, that was enough, wasn't it? She knew him and he wanted her gone now it was over with. She saw his mouth open, preparing to herd her somewhere else. Away from it. They could discuss ways to fight it.
She wanted to grumble at his overprotectiveness, but for once, he actually had a point. That thing was not what either he or she wanted to be around for much longer. Danny charged his hands with offensive plasma and shot. The zombie went down. A gun sounded some distance off...Sam went down.
