(Hi, guys. I'm back with another update. Figured I get one in before Christmas. Hope you're ready for some surprises because I'm gonna bring them.)

One afternoon in Konoha, squad seven was by the training grounds getting some training done. Naruto was going at it with Kakashi, Sasuke practiced with his two swords, while Sakura was working on her strength and Earthbending. After a long practice, the four sat down to relax, "Another day another workout." Naruto told his squad.

"I know. These sessions continue to help improve our abilities." Sakura agreed.

"And they'll need improvement with what's out there." Sasuke added, with Itachi on his mind.

"Agreed. We all must be at the top of our game. Because you never know what could drop in." Kakashi began, until something was flying down right for them.

"Oh, no!" the thing cried. It flew past them before crashing into a tree. It peeled off the trunk before landing on the ground. The creature was a bird spirit that looked like a cross between a crow and a parrot. The spirit began crying, "I'm blind, no!" it stopped when it realized it was ok, "I can see! It's a miracle! Another perfect landing," he called to Squad Seven, "All good here, you guys!"

Squad seven ran over to the spirit, as Naruto spoke to it, "Lo Pei?"

"In the house! Not literally." he answered.

"Another spirit friend of yours?" Sasuke inquired.

"That's right," Naruto confirmed, "Lo Pei, what're you doing here?"

"I have good news for you your Avatarness."

"I'm listening." Naruto replied.

"You'll be happy to know I found your seven tails Jinchuriki." Lo Pei explained.

"You have?" Naruto gasped.

"You betcha. Found her in a forest close to the HotSprings village."

"So it's a she we're looking for?" Sakura asked, as the spirit nodded.

"Anything else you can tell us about this girl?" Sasuke inquired.

"Yeah. She has minty green hair, and from what I saw was wearing a headband with the symbol of the Waterfall village."

"A kunoichi from the Hidden Waterfall village." Kakashi said.

"Yeah, and her name's Fu."

"Thanks for the tip, Lo Pei." Naruto thanked him.

"No problem. But you better hurry and get over there before she decides to pick up and leave." Squad Seven nodded and hurried to the Hokage's office to inform Tsunade about this information.

Soon they were in the Hokage's office, informing Tsunade of the news. Tsunade herself was concerned about this, "So the seven tails Jinchuriki is close to the Hotsprings village?"

"That's what Lo Pei said." Naruto answered.

"If we can find her before the Akatsuki does we can help her." Sakura noted.

"What's your words, Tsunade-sama?" Kakashi inquired.

Tsunade briefly thought upon it and answered, "Get going. Find the Jinchuriki and see that no harm comes to her."

"Hai!" they agreed before taking off asap.

Soon Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura were riding Soreth, as Naruto was gliding at the dragon's side, "At the rate we're going we should be in the Hotsprings village in no time." Kakashi told his squad.

"So has anyone thought about how we're going to handle it once we find her?" Sasuke asked.

"Let me explain things to her. It's how I convinced Yagura, Roushi, Han, and Utakata to follow my lead." Naruto instructed.

"He seems to be the one best suited for negotiating." Kakashi noted.

"There it is." Sakura pointed down to the Hotsprings village.

"We're going in." Naruto said, as he and Soreth glided down.

As they landed outside the village, Sakura looked over at the village seeing it was loaded with hotsprings inns, "Oh, if only we can enjoy their hot baths."

"We'll consider it after we secured Fu," Naruto answered, before turning to Soreth, "Better make yourself scarce, Soreth. We don't know how well this one will take to seeing a dragon." Soreth nodded before going up into a tree to hide.

"Will you be able track her?" Kakashi asked.

"Yes, with Raava's power combined with Kurama's chakra I should be able to hone in on the seven tails chakra."

"Then lead the way." Kakashi ordered. Naruto nodded, as he led his squad off into the forest.

As they jumped from tree branch to tree branch, Naruto was keeping an eye out while honing in on any unusual chakra signatures. Finally he came to a halt forcing the rest of his team to do the same, "What's up?" Sasuke asked.

"Found her." he whispered, as he went to the ground followed by the others. They proceeded carefully, until Naruto stopped them once again. They peered over a bush and saw someone by a brook dipping their feet in the water.

It was a girl roughly Naruto and his friends age. She had tan skin, wore an orange clip in her short, spiky mint green hair that matched her eyes, which was also orange. Her outfit consisted of a short sleeveless white midriff shirt with fishnet armor underneath, long white armlets, and fishnet shorts with a short white apron skirt over it. She wore her forehead protector on her right arm. She laughed as she kicked her feet around in the water.

"Just as Lo Pei said." Naruto whispered.

"Will you be all right, Naruto?" Sakura asked.

"I'll be fine. You guys just don't come out until I say so." Naruto replied, as he proceeded carefully. He came out into the open and addressed the girl, "Hey, you!"

The girl's head shot up and she looked back seeing Naruto, "You talking to me?"

"That's right. Are you Fu of the Hidden Waterfall village?"

Fu got up, "Well, you got the name right. But I haven't lived in that village for a few years now."

"Did you run away?" Naruto questioned her.

"Why do you wanna know?" Fu asked suspiciously.

"Because if you did run away I can tell why you did."

"How?"

"Because of what you have inside you." Naruto got a little closer.

Fu started backing away in worry, "How do you know?"

"Because you and I are one in the same. For I too have a tailed beast inside me."

"You do?"

"Yes. I am Naruto Uzumaki of Konoha, Jinchuriki to Kurama the nine tails," he introduced himself, "And you are the Jinchuriki to the seven tails."

"He actually prefers the name Choumei." Fu replied.

"Of course." Naruto chuckled.

"So you really are a Jinchuriki just like me?" Fu inquired.

"I am. If you desire more proof them meet my fist." Naruto held his fist out.

Fu looked at Naruto's fist feeling unsure, but she looked into Naruto's eyes and felt as if she could trust him. So she raised her own fist and bumped it with Naruto's. To her surprise the two found themselves on the other plane with Kurama behind Naruto and Fu's tailed beast behind her.

The Seven tails or Chomei appeared to be a huge blue armored rhino beetle with six of its seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of its abdomen. The stem of the tail was green but the wings were colored orange. Its eyes looked covered by a helmet-like skull, from inside of which, an orange glow was seen. It had spike protrusions on its shoulders and a row of slits on each shoulder, and six legs with three on each side. The legs are covered by the blue armor, with the exception of extreme ends which are green in color. It had two pincers with three parts on its face, covering a mouth full of sharp teeth. On its back behind its head, it had a large two sectioned horned protrusion.

Fu looekd up seeing Kurama, "Whoa! So that's the nine tails?"

Kurama answered, "Kurama. Nice to meet you. Choumei, it's been a long time."

"Indeed it has, Kurama," he looked down at Naruto, "Greetings, Naruto Uzumaki. I'm the lucky seven Choumei."

"A pleasure. And I'm gonna guess you can already tell the other presence I have inside me, can't you?"

"I can. Raava, it's good to see you."

"Raava?" Fu asked in confusion.

A bright light shined around and Raava appeared, "Choumei, good to see you again too."

"And it's great to see you too, Raava."

"Choumei, who is that?" Fu asked.

"That, Fu, is Raava. The spirit of light."

"Wow. But how is it you have this spirit and the nine tails inside you?" Fu asked Naruto.

"Well, I'm not only the Jinchuriki to the nine tails. I'm also the Avatar."

"Avatar?" Fu tilted her head in confusion.

Naruto looked in disbelief that she didn't know what the Avatar was, before looking up at Choumei. The seven tails answered, "She's a bit naïve to certain things."

"Hey, if you were sheltered in your village for half your life, you would be too!" Fu argued with her tailed beast.

"Then it's best we all tell her the story." Raava suggested.

"Story?" Fu asked curiously, before a smile curled her face, "Yay! Story time!" she started jumping and dancing around, much to Naruto and Kurama's annoyance. When she saw their annoyed looks she smiled sheepishly before sitting down, "So where do we begin?"

And so Naruto and Raava told Fu the story of the Avatar, bending, spirits, and everything else. Fu listened with interest, as Choumei and Kurama relaxed having already known of the story, "And that's why I'm here to help you." Naruto concluded.

Fu needless to say was left in surprise and shock at all she was told, "Whoa. And I thought being a Jinchuriki alone was big, but this-this is even more heavy."

"I know," Naruto confirmed, "But it's my job to not only ensure balance in both our world and the spirit world, but to also protect my fellow Jinchuriki from the threat of the Akatsuki."

"And they've already tried to take Shukaku?" Choumei asked Kurama.

"Yes, though they failed in that." Kurama answered.

"While Gyuki and Matatabi are safe in Kumo, the others are currently in hiding in the spirit world where the Akatsuki won't be able to find them." Raava added.

"Seems like a safe enough place." Choumei approved.

"Which is why I'm asking for you two to come with me. I'll take you both to the spirit world where you will be safe." Naruto beckoned them.

"Is it boring?" Fu asked, while crossing her arms.

"Not in the slightest. It's actually a paradise." Naruto answered.

"Really?"

"Yes. So long as you don't make trouble with some of the various spirits there. Some of them aren't truly the friendly type." Raava explained.

"Hmm. What do you think, Choumei?"

"I think we should trust them. Raava has never steered us wrong before, and I don't think she will now."

Fu turned to Naruto, Kurama, and Raava, "Well, if Choumei trusts you, then I guess I can as well." she smiled.

"Good to hear it, my friend." Naruto smiled in return.

Fu was suddenly taken aback by Naruto's words, "I'm your friend?"

"Well, why not? We're both Jinchuriki, and we gotta look out for one another."

Fu smiled, as her eyes started filling up with tears, "I always wanted a real friend."

"Well, go to spirit world and you'll have more." Naruto promised.

"I will." Fu nodded.

"But before that. Allow me to share with you a portion of my own chakra." Choumei offered. Naruto nodded, as he held his fist out to the large insect. Choumei extended his one pincer and bumped it with his fist.

Naruto smiled, "Yes. With your chakra added, it feels like I have all nine of the tailed beasts with me. In spirit, of course." The two ended their link and they found themselves back by the brook in the forest.

"We're back." Fu looked around.

"Well, we never really left," Naruto reminded her. Fu smiled sheepishly, until Naruto looked back, "Come on out, guys."

Fu looked and saw Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura approach them. Fu remained calm, as they met face to face, "So this is your squad?" Fu asked Naruto who nodded, "Ok, let's see if I got this. Kakashi? Sakura? And Sasuke?" The three nodded, "Great. So will you guys be my friends too?"

"I don't see why not." Sakura answered.

"Whatevs." Sasuke shrugged.

"Oh, I've never been so happy before! I'm making so many new friends today!" Fu said happily.

"You can make a billion more in the afterlife." came a new voice.

The group froze when they looked over and saw two men approach. They were both wearing Akatsuki cloaks, while wearing different headbands on their person. One who wore a headband from the Hotsprings village, was carrying a three bladed red scythe on his back. And another who was wearing a headband from the Waterfall village was the tallest and had all but his green eyes covered up.

"Akatsuki!" Naruto gasped, as Sasuke drew his swords ready to fight.

"Our thanks for finding the Jinchuriki for us." the tallest one said with a deep voice.

Fu looked him over and gasped, "It can't be. You're Kakuzu!"

"You know him?" Sakura asked her.

"Yes. He's a former shinobi from my old village. But he went rogue years ago when he murdered the council. It's said he not so easy to kill."

"You were told correctly." Kakuzu confirmed.

"So who's the other?" Sasuke turned to the other member.

"The name's Hidan, and I am a followed of my God Jashin."

"Who?" Naruto asked in confusion.

"Jashin! He is the one and only God, and you heathens will be offered up as sacrifices for him!" Hidan declared.

"Enough of your religious ranting, Hidan!" Kakuzu growled.

"Don't spoil the moment, Kakuzu!" Hidan argued, until the two were cut off by Naruto who Firebended their way.

The two jumped away to avoid the flames, "I'm guessing you two don't get along so well?" Naruto guessed.

"It's hard to get along with an annoyance like him." Kakuzu motioned to Hidan.

"Well, you're no prize either!" Hidan argued back.

"We can use this to our advantage," Kakashi said to himself, "Guys, spread out and take them!"

Squad Seven and Fu spread out and went on the attack. Fu formed hand signs and started releasing an enormous amount of fine powder from her mouth, "Hidden in Scale Powder Jutsu!" suddenly the powder shined brightly illuminating the area.

"My eyes!" Hidan covered his eyes.

"Blasted Jinchuriki!" Kakuzu growled.

"Oodama Rasengan!"

"Chidori!"

The two suddenly felt the boys signature jutsus slammed into them making them fly backwards and into the brook. The glow died down as Naruto and Sasuke looked down at the two Akatsuki members, with the Avatar speaking, "You two aren't as tough as you make yourselves out to be."

"So pathetic to think you're members of the Akatsuki." Sasuke said with disappointment.

To their shock Hidan and Kakuzu got up. Hidan's cloak was shredded to reveal his bruised torso, but her himself shook it off like it was nothing. Kakuzu meanwhile appeared look darker before his skin turned back to normal. Sakura spoke, "But their attacks were right on the dot."

"I did say Kakuzu wasn't easy to kill." Fu reminded her.

"Then how is it Hidan was able to brush that off?" Sakura asked, while no one had the answer.

"Because my Lord protects me, little bitch." Hidan smirked.

"What did you call me?!" Sakura screamed.

"You heard me. And I will smite you all here and now." Hidan smirked to Kakuzu who grabbed him and threw Hidan in the direction of Fu, "Starting with you!"

"Fu, get out of there!" Naruto shouted.

"You're dead!" Hidan was about to strike her down with his scythe, until something jumped in front of her and shouted, "STOP!"

Hidan's scythe was halted in mid chop when it was at a stalemate with another weapon. The weapon that stopped it was a familiar large sword. And a familiar shinobi Squad Seven knew too well.

"No way!" Sasuke gasped.

"It can't be." Sakura was lost for words.

"Zabuza?" Naruto asked.

Indeed it was. Zabuza stood holding onto the hilt of his sword, while his free hand held onto the circular hole close to the end of the blade. He held his weapon out horizontally keeping Hidan's scythe back. Fu looked up seeing the famed swordsman of the mist who just saved her life.

Zabuza continued to hold Hidan back before speaking, "Sorry to drop in, but I when I saw the bright light over in the forest I knew it had to be something amusing. And what do you know, I found something amusing." Hidan growled, as the two remained in a stalemate.

(And there you go. Quite a surprise, wouldn't you say? They found Fu, and crossed paths with both Akatsuki and Zabuza. Be looking out for next time. And if I don't get another chapter up soon, then Happy Holidays to you all.)
