Episode 56: A Fanfiction Special

Yellowfang sat in her red plush chair. "Good morning, warrior world!"

"We have an awesome show for all of you today!" Nightcloud meowed.

The gray host nodded. "Today we're going to do something a little different. Instead of interviewing a cat from our time period, we're going to interview two cats from far in the future."

"These two cats live in ThunderClan, and they're great descendants of Firestar," the black she-cat added.

"Where did we find these two guests?" Yellowfang asked. "Well, they're such huge fans that they traveled back in time just so they can ask to be on our show."

"And they have some really big issues…." Nightcloud meowed.

Yellowfang nodded. "Oh yeah. They might have the biggest sibling rivalry I've ever heard of."

"So let's all welcome Yellowpelt and Shadowheart- from future ThunderClan- to the show!" Nightcloud mewed, clapping her paws.

The two guests padded onto the stage, flashing each other furious glares.

Yellowfang stared at Yellowpelt. "It seems like I'm not the only 'Yellow' on the show today…" she grumbled.

"At least I actually look yellow!" Yellowpelt, a sun-colored she-cat, hissed. "It doesn't suit you at all!"

"I was 'Yellow' long before you were kitted, cat!" the host spat, unhappy to share her name.

"Can it, Yellowfang," Nightcloud ordered.

Shadowheart nodded, turning to his elder sister. "You shut up, too. This show's about me!"

"It is not!" Yellowpelt hissed. "It's about how you're evil and I'm nice!"

Nightcloud raised her eyes. "When did you realize your brother was evil, Yellowpelt?"

"When he killed our mother, Shadetail," the sun-colored she-cat answered. "He was only a kit then, but he was already a cold-blooded murderer."

Yellowfang stared at Shadowheart. "Wow, not even my son killed anyone when he was that young! You must be really evil!"

"I am," the tom replied simply

Another tom, a larger one, padded out onto the stage. "You forgot about me!" he spat at the two guests.

"Dad, no one wants you here!" Yellowpelt hissed.

Nightcloud and Yellowfang exchanged glances. They hadn't expected a third guest to appear. It was Nightcloud who finally asked, "And who are you?"

"I'm Deepheart, their father," the surprise guest meowed.

Yellowpelt glared at her father. "You tried to murder my sister and me! Go away!"

"Oooo, more issues!" Nightcloud exclaimed. "How exciting!"

Yellowfang nodded. "Deepheart, why did you want your daughters dead?"

The tom rolled his eyes. "They were chosen for a prophecy that would destroy the Dark Forest. Dumb goody-two-shoes kits!"

Shadowheart had apparently not known what his father had tried to do. "You never told me that! When did you try to kill my sisters?"

"Long before you were born, son," Deepheart replied. "Dumb she-cats were too good for my taste."

"It isn't me who's going to destroy the Dark Forest!" Yellowpelt informed her father. "It's my daughter's daughter!"

"So I still have time to get rid of you!" her father meowed gleefully.

Yellowpelt realized Deepheart was serious, and it appeared that he was going to carry out her death right there on the show. As he prepared to spring at his daughter, the sun-colored she-cat leaped off of the green chair she had been sitting on. Deepheart chased her around the stage, Shadowheart hot in pursuit.

Yellowfang and Nightcloud watched the chase in horror. "I guess this is why we rarely have future cats on the show," the gray host muttered.

"Yeah, they have bigger problems than we do," Nightcloud meowed.

"So…what do we do now?" Yellowfang asked. "We're out of time."

"#letsgogetcoffee #shadowheartiskindofcute #maybehewilllethissisterliveifiinvitehimoutforcoffee" the black she-cat replied.

Yellowfang stared at her co-host for a moment, then jumped off of her chair and padded off the stage without her, shouting, "All you think about is toms!"
