Notice: And now, we have reached one of most famous battles of the entire Coliseum: the battle against Snow! But before we get into that, allow me to reply to the latest reviews, and then we'll get started!

Evanescentfacade: Actually, it just that no one can touch Indomitus without being burnt while Deiru is using the Lunar Blade technique. Other times it can still be touched by others, including Lightning and Snow.

Rsdk525: I hope you won't need that first aid kit, but know that this fight will be tough.

And Devil-l'Cie: Glad to hear, and here is the fight with Snow to answer your question.

Now, here we go with the seventh Bonus Chapter!

Bonus Chapter 7: Perpetual Battle

In the Coliseum the Arbiter of Time stood, while from the gate Gilgamesh slowly began walking forward. "From the farthest reaches of time they come, guided by paradox. Souls, burning for battle, drawn to this arena of blood. Unleash every weapon at your command, and seize victory! Wandering hero of the Void, speak your name!" he said. Gilgamesh opened his mouth, but just then someone on the other end of the arena raised his fist into the air. "Oh yeah! Snow Villiers is here!" he yelled. Gilgamesh stopped, surprised, before yelling "You! My introduction! I can't believe you ruined it!" Snow smirked, turning to face him. "Sorry. Got bored of waiting," he said, not sounding sorry at all. Gilgamesh yelled in rage. "You'll pay for that! Prepare to be thrashed! For you face the mighty Gilgamesh!" he called.

"You the guy that collects weapons? I got a fist for you right here!" Snow said, charging. "Hmph. Come then!" Gilgamesh said, firing all four of his handguns. Snow easily moved through the bullets, calling "Your aim sucks!" "We shall see! Perhaps you missed... my extra arms!" he replied, shooting a pair of rockets. Snow dodged one and caught the other. "Was that a joke? Ice one!" he said, freezing the rocket and throwing it back. It hit Gilgamesh and exploded, knocking him back. Snow jumped and was about to unleash a massive punch when the blast created a cloud of smoke, obscuring his vision. Gilgamesh swung and hit him in the chest, sending him flying. Snow landed harshly on his back, and looked up as Gilgamesh fired another rocket.

But then a woman jumped over Snow and flipped, landing in front of him and shooting a single bullet from her gunblade, destroying the rocket in midair. "Off your game, hero?" Lightning asked. "That's not fair! I was winning!" Gilgamesh protested. Snow stood, and Gilgamesh dropped his weapons. "Warrior seeking to claim supremacy, gather from beyond the continuum! Now is the time for glory!" the Arbiter of Time called. Gilgamesh stomped his foot and his six sword appeared from the ground, and he grabbed each one. Suddenly they could hear a high-pitched laughter all around them, I'll octo-punch anyone who gets in my way! After all, I'm an octopus!" the voice said, and from the edge of the Coliseum Ultros appeared. He leaped and landed on the ground, looking up.

"Mr. Typhon, come on down!" he said. A portal appeared overhead and Typhon came through, flying down and roaring. The portal closed but a UFO flew over them. The bottom opened, and the Arbiter said "The universe stretches into infinity. What life can survive its expanse? Dare you face the envoy of the stars?" From the UFO half a dozen PuPus dropped, landing in a heap. Close to the gate the ground exploded, and in the cloud they could see a single red dot. As the dust settled they saw that dot was Omega Weapon's eye, and the mech lumbered forward. "Those lost to the shadows of history will defy reality and be reborn!" the Arbiter called. From the chaos four PSICOM Wardens appeared, all dropping to one knee and waving their hands at Jihl Nabaat, who stood with her back to them.

Snow's eyes widened, and he said "You can't be?!" "Then who do you suppose I am? A ghost made flesh? A servant of chaos?" Jihl asked. She turning around and took off her glasses, smiling. "I am your waking nightmare!" she called. "A puppet of the fal'Cie?" Lightning asked. But then another voice said "You gonna call me that, too?" She gasped, and looked, seeing her commanding officer Amodar standing there with his massive gattling gun in hand. He chuckled, and shouted as he let loose a storm of bullets in the air above them. "Is that any way to talk to your commanding officer? Maybe I need to reteach you your basic training!" he said, laughing. Lightning smiled as well and saluted. Snow looked around at all of them, saying "Well, looks like everyone's here."

"Not everyone," Lighting reminded him. "Behold. Travelers of time, come to join this fateful contest!" the Arbiter of Time called. The gate flashed and Serah, Noel and I appeared. The three of of smiled and drew our weapons, leaping forward and landing in the middle of all of them. "So Snow, this is where that hot head of yours landed you," I commented. "This is my lucky day. I've been waiting for this chance!" Noel said. "Hope your ready, sis!" Serah called. "A battle unlike any seen in history looms bloody on the horizon! Prepare yourselves, warriors of time. Prove who is the strongest among you!" The Arbiter announced. I smirked, and looked around at all of them. We had fought and beaten every one of these enemies gather here... except for one.

"Snow, it's time for us to fight you!" I called. The others nodded and moved away, disappearing so as to leave the arena to the four of us. Well, there was the still the Arbiter, but he disappeared and only his voice was still heard. "You seek to challenge the one you love most? You seek to see how strong your trials have made you? Do not be overconfident. Your opponent too has seen his share of momentous battles. And once again he bears the power of the brand. Only death waits at that journey's end. Give no quarter. Any such sacrilege on the ground of this hallow arena will not escape my notice. Let this be a struggle for life, for death, for you very existence!"

(Start Music: Etro's Champion)

With that the Arbiter vanished completely, and Snow rubbed the back of his head. "So, are you sure? Are we really gonna do this?" he asked. I smirked. "Second thoughts?" I asked. "She's my fiancee!" he replied. "I want you to know..." Serah began. We stopped and looked at her. "I want you to see just how strong I've become since I started looking out for myself," she said. Snow sighed, moving into fighting stance. "Alright, fine. If that's how you feel, I'll give it my best shot. Bring it on!" he said. We also drew our weapons, and before we could charge Snow did instead. He cast Ruinga and swung at Noel, who moved out of range of the spell and blocked the hit. Snow followed it up with a kick, which hit Noel in the stomach and sent him flying.

I cast Cura on him before turning to Snow, casting Ruinga as well. He crossed his arms in front of him and took the blast, barely even feeling it. "Is that all you got, Deiru? Come on!" he said, smirking. I glared at him and decided to use Elemental Barrage, sending out a wave of spells at him. Snow countered by casting Blizzaga from each hand, holding back the barrage. But that allowed Serah to aim an arrow and fire, which Snow just barely dodged. He countered with Watera, hitting her with a wall of water. She fell back and Snow cast Pain and Fog, trying to keep her from fighting. While the Pain status stuck the Fog status did not, and so Serah was able to cast Esuna on herself. Without the Pain status she could fire a set of arrows again, but then Snow came close and use Froststrike.

His hand was coated in ice, and even though Serah blocked the punch the force of it was still strong enough to send her skidding back. "Here we go!" Snow called, and he cast Protect, Shell, Bravery and Faith on himself. The buffs helped increase his strength even further, and so when he used Aquastrike on me I was sent flying just like Noel. I landed next to Noel, who was just getting up. He charged and cast Firaga, which Snow countered with Waterga. The two spells canceled each other out and they both cast Aerora, pushing against each other. But with the spell augmented by his Faith status, I could see Snow starting to gain the upper hand. Serah helped by casting Faith on Noel, and the two focused to try and overpower the other.

Snow was so focused that he didn't even notice Serah aim and fire. At least, not until the arrow imbedded itself in his left arm. Snow shouted and looked at her, and Noel's Aerora spell managed to overpower Snow's and hit him, forcing him to take a step back. It didn't do a lot of damage though- Snow still had Shell equipped. He tried giving himself Haste, but then I cast Dispelga and got rid of every status enhancement on both sides. Rather than get irritated Snow grinned, saying "There's what I was talking about. Now try this on for size!" Then he cast Quake. Pillars of earth erupted in random spots all over the arena, and I was sent skywards by one of them. "Deiru!" Serah called, but then she had to stop and dodge a Blizzara spell from Snow.

I used Aeroga and lessened the impact, making sure no bones were broken. I stood and cast Deprotect and Deshell on Snow, but he cast Esuna just as quickly as they stuck, getting rid of them. Serah fired another arrow but Snow dodged it, also casting a trio of Aero spells. All three of them hits and knocked Serah over, and he also cast Curse and Slow on her. Because of that she couldn't stand to block in time, and was knocked back over when Snow hit her with Blizzard. I frowned and cast Esuna on Serah before unleashing Energy Arc, swinging and letting out three bands of energy. Snow used Steelguard and held his ground, bracing himself as all three hit. Then he cast Daze and tried to stop me from moving, but the spell didn't stick and I was able to cast it as well.

Fortunately for me my Daze spell stuck, causing Snow to stop using Steelguard and leave himself open. Noel and Serah took that chance to cast Aeroga and fire an arrow respectively. The spell actually lifted Snow into the air and tossed him around, the arrow hitting him on his chest on the opposite side of where his heart would be. Snow gritted his teeth and grabbed the arrow, pulling it out. Then he called "Let's cool things off!" He cast Blizzaga twice and actually froze the twister, breaking out of it and landing on top. Serah fired again while Noel threw his javelin, but he deflected both of them. Snow smirked and jumped into the air, casting Ruinga down on the frozen twister. It shattered and sent shards of ice flying in every direction, including at us.

I grimaced as the shards gave me several cuts all over my body, while Serah and Noel experienced the same thing. Serah cast Curaja on us before firing a Blitz arrow at Snow, which burst apart once it came close. Snow held his ground and charged, casting Waterga and Aerora. A ten-foot wall of water rushed at us, and slammed into me and Serah. We both feel back while Noel used Vendetta to not be pushed back by the Aerora spell. The bad news was that it left Noel stuck in one place until the Vendetta wore off, and Snow used that chance to use Blitz, Ruinga, Blizzaga and Aero. Noel had to take the hits, even while the damage he took drove him to one knee. "Hold on, Noel!" I called, and cast Salvation.

Even though I could feel my stamina being cut from using that spell, all the injuries we had sustained instantly healed. Snow was about to cast Curasa on himself when Noel cast Firaga, forcing him to jump away to avoid being burned. Serah cast Protect on all of us and fired an arrow, which Snow sent away with Aero. He cast a quartet of Blizzard spells and followed it up with a pair Slow spells. The Blizzard spells hit Noel and caused him to stagger back, while the Slow spells affected me. I was about to cast Esuna on myself when Snow also cast Fog, sealing away my magic. I frowned and pulled out a Remedy, drinking it quickly. Serah and Snow cast Blizzaga at the same time and the two spells collided, exploding into countless spikes of ice.

I cast Quake and the ground erupted, breaking apart the ice spikes for Noel to send at Snow with Aeroga. He crossed his arms in front of him, but that only deflected the the Shards in the front. The ones swirling around his sides and back still hit, leaving him with countless cuts. I cast Curse over and over until the spell stuck, and Snow was made easier to interrupt. Serah did just that by casting Ruinga, knocking him off-balance. Noel ran in and swung with both of his swords, cutting Snow on the front and side. He grimaced and shoved Noel back, casting Curasa on himself. "Not so fast!" I said, casting Fog. All of Snow's magic was sealed away, and with it gone all he could use was physical attacks. "Okay, time to make you pay!" he called, and charged at me.

I used Mediguard and held up Indomitus, and Snow's shoulder slammed into that. The pure force of the hit nearly sent me to the ground, and then he followed it up with a kick to the stomach and punch to the shoulder. The Mediguard helped to regenerate my health, but not at the pace I was losing it. Serah fired an arrow and Snow stop to grab it, actually throwing the arrow back. She easily dodged it, and fired three more shots. Snow stopped attacking me to use Watera, knocking them away before turning back to me. Noel cast Bravery and Vigilance on himself before charging, and he both swung and kicked at Snow. He didn't try to block them and instead moved away, stopping his attack on me. I sighed in relief and dropped the Mediguard, casting Cure and charging.

Snow was about to cast Protect on himself when I cast Slow, debilitating his speed enough for Serah to shoot him in the left foot and interrupt him. He shouted in pain and moved back, pulling the arrow out and casting Curasa on the wound. Noel cast Deprotect on Snow and turned his sword into a javelin again, throwing it. This time Snow failed to dodge it, and was hit hard enough that he was the one skidding back across the ground. I began charging Destrudo and Serah cast Thundaga, sending down a rain of lightning bolts. Snow took the hits and grimaced while casting Blizzaga at Serah. She changed her bow into sword form and slashed at the spell before it unleashed the ice spikes. As a result the spell exploded and sent out waves of icy energy in every direction, some hitting Serah while others hit Snow, Noel and me.

Noel was sent back by the energy while I channeled a Fire spell into Indomitus, cutting through it. Snow braced himself and managed to stay still, even if it wasn't easy. I ran at him and let out that fire spell, which he stopped with Blizzard. But I kept going and swung down at him, and he crossed his arms in front of him. I pushed harder and Snow tried to hold on. "You've... gotten pretty strong, huh?" he commented. I smirked. "Maybe, but you've haven't seen what Serah or Noel can do! Guys, now!" I called. Snow's eyes widened and he looked to see Serah aimed skywards, unleashing Ultima Arrow. At that same moment I moved away so Noel could use Meteor Javelin, and I unleashed the Destrudo spell I'd been charging. Snow saw all of the hits coming at hit, but rather than panic he smirked.

"Well, I wanted to save this for later, but I guess I've got no choice!" he said, pulling back his sleeve to show his brand. "Here we go! Stopga!" he yelled. A pulse of energy spread outwards and suddenly everything froze, even time itself. Then the arrows disappeared while Noel's lance flew back into his hand, and the orbs of my Destrudo spell faded away. My eye widened. Snow had used Stopga to halt our attacks and cancel them, and Serah and Noel could only use those moves once per battle. Snow knew it too, even if the cost of using Stopga wouldn't let him do it again. "Okay, time for me to get offensive! Here we go!" he said, bestowing himself with Bravery, Faith, Protect and Shell. He charged at Noel, who moved to cast Dispelga but wasn't fast enough.

Snow smirked and swung with a massive uppercut, hitting Noel in the stomach so hard he was launched into the air. I tried to attack from behind but he used a spinning kick, whipping around and kicking me in the right arm. That whole arm went numb and I struggled to lift Indomitus, and Snow cast a pair of Watera and Blizzara spells back to back. I cast Shell on myself and blocked the first pair, but rather than wait for the second to hit Snow charged and cast Ruinga. The blast sent me staggering back, and Serah tried to cover me with a volley of arrows. But then he cast Ruinga and sent her back as well, turning back to me. He swung with Froststrike and Aquastrike at the same time, and I couldn't block both sides at once.

His right hand, the one with Froststrike, hit me in the ribcage and I could feel a pair of them break just before I was sent flying, landing on my uninjured. My side screamed in pain every time I took a breath, and I cast Cura to mend the bones. They were still tender, but at least in working order. I stood back up but Snow cast Waterga, knocking me back down. Before I could get up again he cast Blizzara three times, freezing the water around me and keeping me stuck to the floor. "Hey!" I called. Noel ran over to help me, but then Noel football-tackled him hard enough that Noel feel on his back, and Snow froze him to the ground as well. With the two of us unable to move he jumped into the air, saying "Well, I guess it's time to end this!"

His fist began glowing and I realized with a shock what he was about to do. And there would be know way to survive it. "Get a load of my Sovereign Fist!" he called, shooting down and swinging. I closed my eye and waited for the ground to rumble, light to shine through my eyelid, and being fired to crisp as we were defeated instantly like the move was supposed to do. But while I could see the light and feel the rumble, I felt nothing else. Confused, I opened my eyes just as the light was fading, and gasped. Serah was standing there, her sword held in both hands, and Snow had his Sovereign Fist against the blade. Noel and I were both amazed, as was Snow. Serah was actually holding off Snow's ultimate move. She looked up at him, and smiled even while gritting her teeth.

"Sorry... Snow. But I'm not going to let you win... just like that!" she called, and shoved. Snow was actually sent back into the air, his Sovereign Fist fading away, and she aimed. "Take this!" she called, and fired a trio of arrows charged with Ruinga spells. Each one exploded when Snow blocked them, the chain of blasts, leaving him with his arms spread. Then she aimed one more time, and called "Now it's over!" She fired one more arrow, and this one hit Snow right in the heart. He gasped and his eyes widened, even while he fell back to the ground. Once that was done he fell to one knee, and the ice around me and Noel shattered. We both stood, still shocked out of our minds. Serah had single-handedly held back Snow's Sovereign Fist, and dealt the final blow to defeat him.

(End Music)

The arrow faded away and Snow looked up. "Okay, you've shown me. Now I know how strong you've gotten. Which, from the looks of it, is a lot," he said, smiling. Serah looked down at him for a second, before smiling as well and letting Mog change back to his moogle form. She held out a hand and helped him up, saying "Well, you didn't make it easy for us. Now that we've found you, what do you say you come along?" Snow's smiled faded, and he said "Well, I wish could do that." "Why couldn't you?" I asked. "To be honest, I'd love to, but..." he said, trailing off as tendrils of dark mist appeared around him. I gasped. It was the Chaos. Serah didn't know, and asked "What is that? Are you okay?" "Don't worry. It doesn't hurt at all, but it won't let me leave either," he said.

"Is that why you can't get out of here?" Noel asked. "Yeah, looks like. It's not easy being popular, you know," Snow said. "So the Chaos is binding you to this place," I said. "It might not be friendly. Have you done anything bad lately. Cross anyone?" Noel asked. Snow shook his head, but behind him Serah and I could see dark shape. It was small, and almost resembled... "What's up?" Noel questioned. We both blinked and looked at him, and the dark shape vanished. "Um... it's nothing," Serah said, and I nodded in agreement. "Anywho, that's the way it is. I gotta stay," Snow announced. "Snow..." Serah began. Snow looked at her, smiling gently. "But hey, I'll be back. Just... give me some time," he assured her. Serah looked away, before eventually looking at him again.

"Okay then. But listen, if you take too long getting home... If I get tired of all this waiting... I'm coming to get you," she stated. Snow chuckled. "Heh. That's my girl," he said. From behind all of the other competitors- Gilgamesh, Ultros, Typhon, the PuPus, all of them- walked forward. Snow turned to look at them, and smiled, saying "I guess until you come to collect me, I'll be hanging out with these guys." Serah blinked. "Huh? So while we're out saving the world, you're gonna hang out an play?" she asked. "She's got a point," I added. "Oops. Busted," Snow said. "Snow!" Serah protested. But then Snow started laughing, and the rest of us joined in. "See you soon... I hope," he said, and turned away. He began walking away, and Serah began to go after him.

I placed a hand on her shoulder and she looked at me. I shook my head. We had no choice. Snow waved at us as he walked, and they all disappeared into the Chaos. I looked at the others. "Well, that makes up pretty much every enemy in the Coliseum. We haven't forgotten any, have we?" I asked. "Well, there is just one," Noel said, stepping forward. "Arbiter of Time!" he called. Said being appeared, and said "What is it that you summon me for?" "We've beaten every other member of the place, except for the one who happens to be top dog. And that top dog is you!" he said. Serah and blinked, before realizing that he was right. "You know, Noel's got a point," I said, smiling as I drew Indomitus. "Yeah. You're the only one we have left to fight. So now, we challenge you!" Serah said, raising her bow.

The battle with Snow has come, and now an even larger fight looms on the horizon! Can our heroes defeat the master of the Coliseum? The next chapter shall tell!

Please review! If you flame me Liam Neeson will look for you, he will find you, and he will kill you. (I'm just kidding... or am I?)
