Hinata didn't know what was going on. Naruto had seemed fine during his fight with Gaidoku, yet now he was on the ground and he wasn't moving! Rushing to her husband, the young woman gently shook his shoulder, hoping, praying that would be enough to wake him up from his sleep. Yet, that didn't seem to want to work for her.

"Mom stay away from him!" shouted Kazumi with a frown on her face as she gently pulled her mother's hands away from her father. "He's been poisoned. Gaidoku must have released a toxin through his pours so he could poison dad." Kazumi said with a frown, causing Hinata to stare at her daughter in confusion. "I had to learn about many kinds of demons, a few Poison Demons could do that, though mostly the royal line could."

Damn it all, her husband was poisoned and she couldn't do anything to save him! She was going to lose her husband!

Kazumi took a deep breath as she calmly said "Relax mom, I can heal him though it'll take everything I have to remove the poison with how much it had already spread through his body." With that, Kazumi gently placed her hands on Naruto's chest, removing the poison from around his heart before it could spread too far. She tried to use all of her healing power to remove the poison but, she hadn't expected it to be this strong.

Hinata could only watch as her future daughter could only heal Naruto. Kazumi was already tired from saving them from the Menma while he was controlled while they were in the apartment, then of course fighting the Dark Master before killing him. Okay, he was weak but still, it drained some of her chakra regardless.

It was painful to only watch as her future-daughter struggled to save Naruto. The only sound or movement that told Hinata that he was still alive, was the moving of his chest, and the soft moans that she would hear from him here and there. It was reassuring that he was alive, yet it broke her heart to hear that Naruto was in so much pain and she could do nothing to stop it for him.

Naruto groaned, turning his head left and right as if he was trying to fight off a horrible monster that only he could see. Maybe he was, and that monster was Gaidoku's Poison, the last ditch effort to take Naruto if he couldn't control the Ultimate Weapon. It broke her heart to see Naruto like this. Suddenly, Naruto shot up screaming from the pain, grasping at his chest as if he was suffering from the greatest pain possible. Kazumi had to gently push her father back down, pleading him to calm down and relax so she could remove the poison before it was too late.

"Father, please, you have to relax. If you don't I won't be able to remove the poison from your body." Kazumi pleaded.

Hinata frowned a little, not sure if she could do much for her husband, but there had to be something that she could do. Turning to her daughter, Hinata saw that Kazumi's face was pale and covered in a thin sheen of sweat as she tried to fight through all of the poison that was within Naruto's body. Reaching out, she gently placed her hand on Kazumi's back, causing her daughter to turn to her mother in shock. "Take my chakra to help Naruto. You will end up killing yourself at this rate."

Kazumi frowned, looking like she wanted to argue with her mother on this, but knew that at this rate, it would kill her. Taking a deep breath, Kazumi nodded to her mother before putting her focus back on her father as she went back to healing him.

Hinata felt a pull on her, as if a part of her was trying to be removed from her body though she didn't fight it. Knowing that this was something that had to be done in order to save her husband and her future, as well as Kazumi's future. A future that had herself, Naruto, and their daughter in it.

Naruto started to relax a little, though his expression was still one of pain and suffering. It seemed that the poison was still hurting him, though at a slightly duller amount less. "It's working." Kazumi said with a smile on her face. Her focus still strong as she started to remove more poison from her father. Hinata could only smile, happy to hear that it was working. That was the only thing that mattered to her right now. That it was working, that they would be able to save Naruto at this rate.

Yet, she couldn't help but wonder, how much poison was within Naruto in the first place? After all, he had fought Gaidoku for quite a while, and there was no telling just how much he had poured out to just poison Naruto. It almost broke her heart to think about the pain, no, it did break her heart to think about all the pain that Naruto had to go through if they hadn't started to remove it. He would have felt nothing but pain before it finally caused him to succumb to the pain. Yet, here he was, still as strong as ever just so he could hold on long enough for them to save him.

Hinata smiled at the thought, Naruto truly was a fighter until the end, and he would keep fighting no matter what. Taking a deep breath, the young woman looked down at Naruto, his skin that had once gone pale from the poison, was starting to come back to its natural colour. His skin tone, that was a natural peach colour, though a little darker from being in the sun for who knows how long throughout his entire life was starting to return, it almost made Hinata want to cry.

Naruto was coming back to them, and she couldn't be happier than that right now.

A groan came from the man, causing him to squint his eyes tightly before allowing them to open. He looked up at everyone as Hinata and Kazumi looked down at him with a smile and watery eyes. His lips moved though no words came out. Soon, he fell back asleep, though they still had much to do in order to get him out of the woods of the poison.

"Quick, let's get him to the palace and tend to his injuries there." Came a voice, causing Hinata and Kazumi to turn and stare at the new comer with wide eyes.

"Minato?"

Naruto didn't know how long he had been out. The only thing he could feel was a fire as it burned through his entire body. It was the worst pain he had ever felt in his life, including when Kuro Jr had stabbed him with that ice sword of his.

The last thing he could remember, was the pain as it started to seep into him, the way these two women would stared at him in shock. After that, there was nothing. His body felt like it was on fire, yet even though he knew for a fact that he was out cold, he could still feel the fire as it seeped its way through his body. Flowing through his veins to his very core. To his heart.

Yet, then he felt a warmth, nothing like the fire that had tried to consume him. No, this was soft, warm, like a gentle caress that he would expect from loved ones. It had started around his heart and slowly moved through his body, pushing at the fire that had once tried to consume him. What was going on? He was sure that he should still feel that fire, yet it had faded for the most part. Everything seemed to have faded, the fire remained yet not as strong, and so did that soft warmth. It wasn't moving either but he could still feel it there, softly moving around him yet not really moving much more than it already had.

It confused him, yet at the same time he was thankful for the warmth. He felt like, it had saved him for the most part. Taking a deep breath, Naruto felt his entire body was at some kind of ease. Slowly, voices started to come around, causing him to squint his eyes as he tried to sleep some more, not wanting the risk of pain as it would slam into him without a doubt.

"Are you sure you were able to get it all out of him?" asked a woman's voice.

"Yes, thanks to your help and this… odd young woman, you both pushed aside the toxin away from his heart giving us time to remove the rest from his body. He just needs his rest." replied another voice.

"Thank goodness. I was so scared that I'd have lost him." Whispered the woman.

Who was this voice? He knew it somewhere, but what could it be? No, who's could it be in the first place? Even though he was still somewhat distorted, his heart was telling him something, telling him that this woman meant something to him, that she was dear to his heart. He wanted to call out to her, to tell her that he was okay, but how could he say anything to her when his body wouldn't listen to him in the first place? It just didn't make sense to him, but again what could he do?

"Why hasn't he woken up yet?" asked the woman.

"That I am not sure, the toxin may have affected his body to a certain point and his body is trying to heal itself as quickly as it can. Even his body can only do so much at a time. It is trying to repair the damage that was done to his body, not to mention it could have affected his brain in some way." That would make sense, his memory was kind of off. If he could even remember anything at all in the first place. Okay so maybe that was a sign that this toxin had affected his memories.

"Would he remember anything?" asked the woman.

"In time. His chakra would try to repair everything that had happened to him. Unlike with humans, it won't take years. Maybe a day at least, to a week." Was the answer.

So, he was going to have to assume that he wasn't human, no wait that's right. He isn't. He's a Nine Tailed Fox Demon. That was one memory down at the very least. Though, he would love it if he could hurry up and wake up to let them know that he was okay. That he could at least hear them even if his body wouldn't work right now.

"I hope he wakes up soon." Whispered the woman, it made his heart ache hearing this. A part of him wanted to reach out to her, wanted to hold her and tell her that it was okay. That everything would be fine but damn it all! He just couldn't wake the hell up yet!

"Do not worry, Prince Naruto will be alright. His father was able to give some of his chakra to help with the healing process, as had his mother. He should wake up soon." Well, that was reassuring but, who was his parents? Wait, Prince? He was a prince? Holy shit! "Until then, you need to sit down, your back must be really sore from standing so long in your condition."

Her condition?

"I'll be okay." Whispered the woman, though even he could hear the pain in her voice. Damn it all, he wanted to wake up, he wanted to hold her even more! To wrap his arms around her and take away everything that troubled her and make them all go away. It seemed, that his lack of consciousness was one of them.

Groaning softly, Naruto tried to push himself to wake up, he was going to force his body if he had too. That small part of him, telling him to wake up so he could be with this woman, so he could hold her, kiss her. Just well, just anything really! Just so many emotions surged through him so he could be with her at all times of the day. That part of him, most likely the part of him that he couldn't remember for the time being, telling him to push himself to the ends of the earth just to hold her and assure her that he was indeed okay.

"Prince Naruto?" whispered one of the voices.

"Naruto?" whispered the woman's voice.

Soon, he felt his eyes slowly start to open, sight was a little blurry at first but it had started to clear. Yet, he was not happy with the bright light as it almost seemed to blind him the moment his eyes had opened. Blinking quickly, he let out a soft whine, pain starting to seep into his body now that he was fully conscious at this point. Looking around, he saw a woman that had to be the other source of the voices in the room. She gasped before running out of the room screaming for the King and Queen. Whoever-oh wait, they must be his parents if he was the 'Prince'.

"Naruto!" shouted another, the one that he had been happy to hear. Turning his head to the best of his abilities, he saw the blue haired woman that had been rushing to him in his last memory. A name almost seemed to shout in the back of his mind, telling him, that he knew this woman in a very deep way. "Naruto thank goodness you're awake! I was so worried about you!" shouted the woman.

Blinking slowly, he carefully moved his hand up and moved his fingers as if asking her to come closer. Which she happily done so before taking a seat next to his bed. "Naruto, you've been asleep for two days. Kazumi was able to remove most of the poison but the healers here were able to remove the rest." Kazumi, who was that?

Squinting his eyes, the young man noticed the roundness of this woman's belly, was she? Then, was she already taken? No, a part of him was telling him that she was but, he was still happy. He felt pride when he saw her belly, not sorrow. What the hell was going on here?

"Don't worry Naruto, the baby is okay. She stayed safe no matter what we went through." She assured him. That did make him feel better so that was a plus at the very least.

"Hinata…" He crocked out, her name almost seemed to have screamed in the back of his mind.

"Water." He crocked, hoping and praying that dear lord he could get something for his parched throat right now. Before she could even get up to get him some water, the masked woman had taken off, why was she in that mask? Shaking his head, he looked over to her as he whispered "Who are you?"

Her hope faded from her face. Okay, he felt bad about saying that but he had to know. "Who are you… to me?" he whispered.

"I'm your wife." She whispered, sadness clear in her voice. So, she was his then? That made him happy, love almost seemed to seep through his entire being just hearing about that. But, he knew that he still had to be careful at the same time. "So, the toxin did affect your brain. I just hope that you do start to remember like the healer said you would."

Naruto nodded his head, he wanted to tell her that he has so far, or at least he had started to remember bits here and there. But, his voice didn't want to work for her right now. He just wanted to rest, just wanted to sleep and forget about his troubles once more but, at the same time he wanted to spend time with this woman, his wife.

'Wife. Heh, sounds more real the more I think about it.' he thought with a small smile on his face. He turned to Hinata, yes he was sure that was her name since she hadn't corrected him at all so far. "Hinata, can you just… talk to me? About anything." He didn't care what it was, the only thing that he wanted was to hear her speak. The more she spoke, the more images would appear in his mind to cause him to remember more about himself.

Hinata just smiled at him, as if she was happy to applique to his request. She let out a soft sigh before she went on talking. Mostly, about how they had first met and had went off from there. Though, he figured that this story would be rather long, he didn't care. Her voice, it was just so soothing to him and he didn't care how long she spoke. Naruto knew that he could hear her all day and would never get tired of listening to her. It made him smile, it made him happy and his heart fluttered.

Yawning softly, the young man started to drift off to sleep. Just resting his eyes really but before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.

Over the course of two days, Hinata had gone to Naruto and spoke about everything they had gone through. Though of course, he would hear everything from his parents as well as the masked woman. Yet, he knew that she was keeping things from him for the time being. With every story that he would hear, the more he would remember. Even while he was asleep, he would remember more and more.

The healer said that his chakra had for the most part, healed just about everything that had happened to him during the fight. Yet, when his father came in, he saw the odd look in his father's eye. As if he wanted to share something with him but kept it to himself for the time being. Naruto also wouldn't push his father because either his father had a reason for it or, of course Naruto had no energy for it. It could be either one really.

Hinata had told him that they had been together for a while, and had fully fallen in love with the other and had gotten married. It would explain the ring on his finger and the one on hers. Not to mention, everyone that was telling him their versions of the story. He knew that if they were trying to pull a fast one over him that they would have said the exact same thing.

Not to mention he could picture everything, mostly from their first dance as a married couple. He grinned at that memory, among other ones that would surface in his head.

Suddenly, he found himself alone with the masked woman. He remembered her, vaguely anyway. She was a Fox Demon, one that had helped him and Hinata through may tough times. Okay not a hell of a lot but some anyway. "Why are you here? Thought you would take your first chance to leave." He asked with a raised eyebrow. Which was true, for as long as she had been here, she would always leave the first chance she had. What made it so different now?

"I am to tell you that I am returning. I know you don't remember much, nor do you remember much about me. Yet, your memories are returning right?" the woman said.

Staring at her, he whispered "Remove your mask." The Masked Woman almost seemed hesitant but, she complied. Removing her mask, she stared at him with eyes just like his own staring right at him as her blue hair swayed from her movements. He could only stare at her, wondering why he felt like he had seen her face before but he just couldn't think of it…

At least, until it had all slammed into him at once.

Eyes widening, he grabbed at his head as he felt the rest of his missing memories hitting him, and hard. He wanted to scream, wanted to cry out from the pain as it hit him fast and hard. The masked woman, no, Kazumi, rushed to his side and tried to help him through the memory overload. Yet, as quickly as it had came, it had disappeared.

Blinking quickly, his eyes, Naruto turned and stared at Kazumi as he whispered "Kazumi, what happened?" His memories have returned to him at last, but he still felt rather disorientated from the whole thing. "What happened after I blacked out?"

Kazumi took a deep breath, as she started to explain. "Gaidoku had released posion through his pours and skin. The air around him and skin to skin contact would have poisoned you. It had reached throughout most of your body by the end of the battle from what I could gather but, you had killed him. The future has been changed at long last." She then smiled brightly, happy, so very happy that she had been able to change the future at long last.

Naruto blinked in shock.

"Yet, it had been thanks to mom that we were able to save you. I tried healing you but didn't have enough chakra. Mom had to help me with that, had to help me with healing you and that was when Grandpa showed up. Thanks to him, we could get you here in time to save you." Kazumi explained with a soft and content smile on her face. So, that explained the warmth that had held the fire at bay. That had explained so much, but he wondered what more would happy now.

Gaidoku was dead, his future, Kazumi's future was safe at long last. But, that meant that he wouldn't see her again. Kazumi reached out and held onto her father's hand. Causing Naruto to look up at her with a frown on his face. "Do not be sad dad. You'll see me again. In a few months, after all, mom is still pregnant, you can still be there for me like it was meant to be." She smiled all the more before moving away from her father and turned to him one last time.

"Kazumi…" Whispered Naruto softly.

"Don't worry dad, I am returning to my time and, it'll be a happier one at long last." She smiled happily before she walked out of the door, leaving Naruto with his thoughts. It was true, Kazumi wasn't really gone. No, she was still growing inside Hinata, allowing him to see their daughter once more though it still saddened him all the same. After all, Kazumi had helped them through so much during this whole ordeal. Trying to make sure that Hinata was safe, trying to make sure that he himself, wouldn't have disappeared and went through the same thing that Menma had gone through.

Taking a deep breath, the young man laid down on the bed, trying to think it all through. His body of course, was still healing but at the same time he wasn't going to complain. He was still alive, he was still going to be there for his wife, for their child. There wouldn't be anything that would take him away from his family ever again. Yet, there was still so many things that had gone through his mine at the same time. Gaidoku, he had mentioned that the Ultimate Weapon, was something that was 'passed down' to the descendants of the current, or last weapon. The last one was from his mother's family, so it had to originate from there.

He would have to look up on that later, since he still had some healing to do but again. That would have to wait until the healer would even allow him to walk on his own.

For now though, he would just have to rest and focus on his future.

hey everyone, sorry that it had been a while since I posted anything, I was gonna work on it sooner but some stuff came up then of course my vision was being weird. Long story short, I have near vision in one eye, and astigmatism in the other so I'm waiting for my glasses to come in two weeks, anyway there is maybe two chapters left to this story and its done. Also, I know the memory loss was kinda a last minute choice, but remember that was how Gaidoku was going to control him but it was with a different toxin that he was gonna use before, before it was just to erase memories and control him, this was meant to kill him. Anyway, later
