Chapter 52
"Sometimes all we need... it's someone tell us some comforting words."
It all happened too fast, in a moment Mea was fighting robots and now she was carrying a girl bleeding from her head. She felt strange with all that, she knew that Mikan would not have much chance of surviving but something made her have faith that all would end well. It did not take long for her to get in the medical clinic and kick the front door.
"I need a doctor NOW!" Mea shouted carrying the sister of Rito.
"Oh come on... Can't I have a bre..." Ryoko Mikado stopped saying when saw them, having two surprises. First was a girl covered in blood and the other surprise was the assassin who was there.
'What is she doing here? Is she responsible for that?' Mikado thought concerned.
Seeing the doctor, Mea approaches her.
"Doctor, you have to help!" Mea said surprising the doctor. "This is Yuuki Mikan, she suffered a serious head trauma."
Mikado quickly instructs her to put Mikan on a stretcher and help push the stretcher to the operation room.
"What do you think, Doctor?" Mea asked knowing that the situation did not look good as she pushed the stretcher.
"I'll do what I can... But she seems to have lost a lot of blood." Mikado said before entering the room with Mikan.
As soon as they arrive, Mikado thanked asks Mea to wait outside. She leaves and soon after that the surgery's door closes and the red light above the door lights, signaling that the operation had begun. A few minutes later Rito enters, in panic, at the clinic.
"Where is she? Where is she?" He said, desperately looking everywhere. He was sweating cold, wide-eyed and could not stay still. He sees Mea leaning against the wall and approached her.
"Mea, where is she?" He said putting his hands on her shoulders.
"Calm down. She is being operated now, we can only hope for the best." Mea said trying to calm him down. Rito sighed feeling so helpless and useless in that situation.
For Rito, the next minutes it was very stressful, Rito couldn't sit still, he paced back and forth and Mea... She did not know what to do, so she sat in the chair supporting her head with the hands. She was a master of assassin, she could kill, but she didn't know how to deal with death... She could not calm him down... and not even know what to say if the worst happened...
After an hour the light goes off and at the same time Rito stopped and his heart froze... Mikado leaves the room.
"Doctor..." he said feeling that his heart was going to jump out of his chest.
"...I'm sorry..." She said crestfallen. His heart fell.
"I closed her injuries and did the blood transfusion... But many cells of her died. She lost many neurons and her bulb was injured. She would only be able to breathe with the help of certain machines and yet she will never be able to recover her consciousness... So..."
Rito falls to his knees, sad and desolate. A lot of thoughts ran in his head, until the princess Deviluke planet comes close to him and leans on his shoulder.
"Rito? What is it?" She asked, she did not know what was going on but was worried about the state he was.
"You!" He said turning around with an angry expression. He gets up furious, frightening her.
"Get out of here! Get out of here! You monster! You ruined our lives! What have we done for you to deserve this?" He shouted angrily. Everyone was surprised by his tone and looked surprised.
"What?" She said surprised and shocked with everything. She had no idea what was going on. "Rito I would never do anything bad to you. Please tell me what's going on?"
"You did not understand? Perhaps you understand now. My sister is DEAD, thanks to you." Rito shouted with hatred in his eyes and voice which startled everyone. Rito was breathing hard after shouting.
Lala's eyes were widened and she was shocked by the revelation. How could she do that? She simply did not remember. Everything was so confused... if only she could remember but there was nothing to be done. She comes out of the clinic running and crying. They watch her walking away without being able to do anything.
"Now what should we do?" Mea said to the doctor. "It seems that now we have a lot of problems at our hands..."
'I should have done something before... Maybe I could have prevented this.' Mikado thought.
"Now we need to get things ready for her funeral. Inform their parents what happened as soon as possible and..." Mikado said to Mea because Rito didn't seem to bother for what was happening. "And we still have to find and talk to Lala..."
Mea closes her eyes for a second to think.
"I do not think it behooves us to talk to their parents, right?" Shee asked Mea. The doctor nods.
Mea looks at her brother. He was still in a state of shock… crestfallen. No reaction... speechless.
"You better go... Go home... I'll take care of her body. It is better to wait until he is able to speak to tell to his parents." The pointy-eared alien said. "After you leave Yuuki-kun at home go after Lala... We do not know what will happen now that she realized what happened... Try to calm her as much as possible…"
Mea nodded and looked at him.
"Onii-chan... Do not you think you went a little too far with Lala?" She said approaching him.
Rito couldn't hear, images and thoughts were rushing through his mind, he fails to protect his sister, he thought about how selfish he was in accepting Lala proposal, of how her sister was always there for him... and how he had failed again. He starts breathing heavily and sweating cold. He put a hand on his chest, holding the shirt he was wearing and falls to his knees again. They were surprised to see that.
"Haahhaahhuuhhaah…" Rito tried to breathe but he was having trouble to do so.
"Yuuki-kun What is wrong?" Mikado said concerned.
He fell on the floor and start losing consciousness.
"Oh no!" Mea said concerned. "Not you too!"
"He's hyperventilating! Breathe slowly. Yuuki-kun!" Mikado said before the boy passing out.
…
…
…
…
Many hours passed since then... But she kept crying... she was now under a tree as the rain continued. The rain continued as it was crying for something.
"Please Lala-sama... stop crying..." the faithful little robot begged.
But to no avail, perhaps nothing could make her stop crying. Lala felt broken. Peke told everything that has happened in recent days which only made Lala feel even worse. She had given more trouble for that family. They have always treated her well, they took care of her like she was of their family. And what she gave in return? She killed the sister of the boy she loved.
"... I'm leaving this." Lala said getting up. "I do not deserve to stay here."
"Lala-sama!?" Peke said surprised. "Are you sure about that? Please do not jump in conclusions. You were sick and had no control over your actions...
"No... that's not all... I'm always putting Rito's life in risk since I turn him as my guardian, it's my fault he had to spend a week working at school... He also had the test thing which he could lost. He always did things and never complained... So far... What about me? I did nothing for him... I never considered his feelings. Now I see that I am always causing trouble for them... And that's why I think I have to go."
"Lala?"
On hearing her name called, she turns to where the sound came and meets the blond-haired man also known as Rito's coach who was carrying an umbrella and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. He was about 5 meters away from her. He had finished training and was going to eat something before going home, however he heard crying noises and decided to investigate. Soon found a friend of his pupil under the tree.
"Kazuhira?" She said in a sad tone.
"What's wrong Lala? You look sad..." he said noting the lower astral of her.
"I-I need to go." Lala said running out under the tree and getting wet in the rain.
"Whoa, wait a minute!" He said going after her and holding her fist. "Where are you going?"
"Let me go." She said in an order tone before freeing her hand.
"What has happened Lala? Why were you crying? Where is Rito? Why did he missed his training?" He said with a worried voice.
On hearing his name, her eyes fill with tears again and she turns her face.
"Come Lala. Let's get out of this rain and then you can tell me everything that happened." He said putting the umbrella over her.
"Did you eat lunch yet?" Kazuhira asked.
"I'm not really hungry." She answered still melancholy voice.
"Well, I'm starving for a bowl of ramen, but I not going to eat unless you eat too." Kaz argued as they walked. "Do not make me beg."
"...All Right then." Lala said seeing that she had no alternative.
"Great, then two ramen bowls coming up." The blonde said trying to lift the mood.
Meanwhile, At Yuuki's house.
"Oooooh..." Rito starts moaning meaning he was regaining consciousness. He was lying on his bed at the time. After hours unconscious, he wakes up almost jumping out of bed.
"Where? Where? Mikan?" He spoke a few words without even thinking.
He looks around and then realizes you are in your home. But it makes him more confused.
"What I am doing at home?" He asked confused. "Was it all a dream?"
Knowing that the only way was to investigate, he gets out of bed and left the room. When he went downstairs he heard a noise coming from the kitchen.
"Mikan?" He said hopefully.
He quickly down the stairs and go into the kitchen... Unfortunately he found Mea.
"Ah... Onii-chan! You are awake." The red-haired assassin said relieved that he was awaken.
"What happened?" He said with a melancholy and desperate voice. "Where is Mikan?"
"... You fainted ... You really left us worried." She replied. "And... Mikan is still in the clinic."
"Oh... So it was not a dream..." He said getting depressed.
"Unfortunately no." She said sad.
Rito felt his heart shrinking, feeling a big sadness, not knowing for sure what to do now, he sits on the couch and puts his hands on his face. Mea follows him, stopping a few meters away from him... watching him while he was suffering, she was also lost... For some reason, that she did not know, see him suffering and sad, made her sad too. But she did not know what to do or what to say... She never dealt with this sort of thing.
"Uh... Are you hungry?" She asked trying to break the ice.
"No..." he answered coldly.
"If you want I can..."
"I'm sorry... Mea I know what you're trying to do... I appreciate that." He said, interrupting her before she could finish, looking into her eyes. "But there's nothing you can do to make me feel better."
Mea sighed feeling defeated, while Rito sighed and lowered his head. Rito stays there for a few minutes feeling completely depressed, with no will to live. Mea then approaches him and leans her forehead at his forehead.
"Mea? What are you..." Rito said finding all very strange.
"Shhhh..." Mea asked for silence.
Rito suddenly finds himself in his living room but it was different... There was a Christmas tree, very poorly decorated, and a few different things. He then heard a noise, looks to his right and widens his eyes in surprise.
"Mikan?!" He said not believing what he was seeing.
But it was not Mikan as he remembered, she was younger with the aspect of having five years. She also was not pay attention to him but in the tree and the child who was setting the tree.
"What a poorly-done tree..." Mikan said with a not very lively expression.
He looked more closely at the child who was near the tree and notice a much younger version of himself.
"Shut up, it will do!" The younger Rito shouted slightly embarrassed.
'Oh now I remember...' Rito thought. 'It was that Christmas when I built a Christmas tree since our parents were not going to be with us...'
The youngest Rito then grabs a bag that was near the tree.
"Here it is, Mikan!" He said handing the bag to her. She was a little surprised at this.
"Well... It's a gift that I received from Santa a while ago." He said. "He asked me to give to you."
"WAAH Thanks!" Mikan said taking the gift of his hand. "Though I know that Santa does not exist."
Rito's eyes widen and is surprised to hear that. She rips the package and widens her eyes after seeing what it was.
"Onii-chan, you bought it for me?" She said seeing the blue scarf and ear protector for the cold.
"Well... I managed to save my allowance and since you said you did not want toys, I decided to buy it because I didn't know what else I could buy." The younger Rito said blushing a little and avoiding eye contact.
"I loved… Thank you Onii-chan!" Mikan said embracing the present. Both Ritos smiled seeing her happiness.
She then looks at the older Rito which surprises him.
"And thank you too." She said smiling and making him even more surprised. "Thank you for always trying to cheer me up... For always being by my side... Always trying to protect me... Thank you for being the best brother I could ever imagine. Thank you for everything... Onii-chan..."
Upon hearing those words Rito cannot control himself and starts crying. He closes his eyes and when he opens, he sees that he was in the living room of the present. Mea was not with her forehead pressed against his forehead anymore.
"What have you done?" He said while tears still flowed.
"I... I have a skill called Psycho-dive... It allows me to connect with the mind of another the person." Mea explained. "I looked in your mind and found a happy memory of you and your sister... and also put a thought that Mikan had of you in that dream."
"Uh... I did not know... That you could do that..." he said drying the tears. "What... you showed me... was it true?"
"Yes... I picked this thought from Mikan before I left the clinic." Mea revealed. "She really admired you, Onii-chan."
"Mikan..." he said with a more normal voice. "Thanks Mea... This really made me feel better."
She smiles seeing that he felt better.
They hear the bell, without thinking twice he goes, answer the door and is surprised to see who it was.
"Kotegawa-san? What are you doing here?" He asked surprised.
"Mikado-sensei told us what happened." She replied with a sad face. "Can I came in?"
Oshizu and Yui decided to hang out in the morning and so the ghost was not in the clinic during the accident. Ryoko told them what happened. But she did not tell the part which was responsible Lala for what happened to Mikan. Yui, after hearing the story, decided to see if Rito was okay...
"Yeah… sure." He answered.
"She enters in his house, in another situation she would be embarrassed in being in his house, but there are more important things.
"I'm sorry… for what happened… Yuuki-kun…" She sadly said.
He didn't answer… he was to devastated to speak of.
"Yuuki-kun... I do not know what to say... But I want you to know... that whatever you need... If you need to talk to someone... You can count with me." Yui said genuinely after entering in his house.
"Thank you." He said vaguely. He goes back to the couch and sits.
Yui realize that didn't help at all. She decided to reveal something. So she sits next to him, takes a deep breath and...
"Yuuki-kun, I hate to see you like that... And I also know that your sister wouldn't like to see you like that... at least she told me that." She said gaining his attention.
"Huh?" He said.
"When you were on space I met your sister one day and we talked. Your sister really knew you. She said while Rito was listening carefully. "She knew that you needed a toothbrush, what was your favorite dish... but above all... she deeply carried about your health, I figured when we talked she wanted to see you happy."
"She really wanted this?" He asked a little surprised.
"Yuuki-kun, all that she wanted was your happiness, she told me that. So wherever she is, I bet she wouldn't like to see you even sadder because of her."
"Well... Mikan really didn't like when I was all depressed. " He said noting that Mikan did not like when he got depressed. "Thanks, Kotegawa-san."
Kotegawa smiles realizing that she can really make a difference and somehow was getting close to him. She soon after that, she noticed that someone was missing.
"And where is Lala?" She asked looking around.
"I do not know and do not care." He said angry turning his face.
"Why?" She said surprised by his answer.
"I do not know if you have heard but..." Mea said meddling in the conversation. "Because of the disease, Lala, today, started acting like a tyrant and said she wanted to conquer the world. Meanwhile, Rito managed to pick vaccine for the flu. We meet with her but Lala was using a robot army to try to prevent us from getting close. Mikan who wanted to be useful took one of the syringes and managed to approach her. But she ended up taking a kick and..."
"The rest I already know." Yui said not wanting to make things worse. "Why is not she here? She did not want to face the consequences after seeing that she went too far?"
"Actually..." Mea said. "It seemed that she did not remember what had happened. She came to us completely lost."
"What?" Yui said perplexed. "So she did not remember anything that happened in the last days? Nor that she destroyed the school?"
"That I don't know." Mea commented scratching the cheek. "But she seemed confused and not understanding anything, wondering what happened. We could not learn anything else from her... Because after that... Someone sent her away."
"Who sent her away?" Yui said.
And so the eyes of Mea turned to Rito. Yui just couldn't believe.
"Yuuki-kun... It was you who sent the Lala away?" She asked surprised.
"Yes I was me!" And he said looking angry at her. She was shocked she never expected to Rito to act like that and say those words with such hatred.
"Yuuki-kun, you have to apol-" She was interrupted before she could finish.
"Do you think I should apologize? After all she did? She destroyed my family, she's always putting us in trouble and doing the wrong things... in fact I really want to her to-"
She stops him by slapping in his face which surprises everyone even him.
"Stop talking nonsense!" She yelled at him "Do you think Lala wanted to do that? Lala does not hurt anyone, not even a fly. How do you think she's dealing after discovering this? Moreover, after you blame her? You know very well that Lala was sick and she had no control of her actions. I'm sorry you're upset about what happened to your sister but Lala doesn't deserve your blame because it was not her fault!"
"But..."
"No buts! (Sigh) Please Yuuki-kun... You've already lost someone today... Do not make the mistake of losing another important person to you today…" She said thinking that maybe she went a little too far.
Rito's cheek was hurt but not as much as his hurt after seeing the mistake he had made. He sighs and looks up. "You're right ... I'm sorry. I need to fix things. Thanks again Kotegawa-san."
"If you really want to thank me then go after her and apologize to her." She said pointing to the door.
The boy nods and leaves the house. After that, Mea approaches the long black-haired girl amazed of what she had done.
"It was really cool what you did... I think..." Mea said smiling.
"And you are?" Yui said raising an eyebrow.
"I am Mea Kurosaki. Nice to meet you." She introduced herself.
'Wait it's that the girl that Yuuki-kun hang out that day?' Yui thought. 'Yuuki... you shameless man! Another girl I need to keep an eye... I don't want that girl falling in his shameless actions.'
"... And that's all." Lala finished telling while she finishing her bowl.
They were sitting on the bench of a Ramen restaurant. The restaurant looked more like a bar with a few tables which they were square with four chairs. The place was dimly lit and there were few customers. But the funny thing was that the kitchen was behind the bench so the head of the kitchen could see who he was serving. But despite all that, the food was very good.
Lala told what had happened that day. Kaz could hardly believe what he heard and could not even imagine the pain that Rito was feeling... He knew how to Mikan was important to him.
"Wow... I'm sorry Lala. I had no idea that this had happened." Kaz said unsure what to say.
"And that's why I have to go. I only brought bad things to them... I just put people in danger and hurt them... while they just want to do well for me." Lala reveled almost crying again.
"...Do you really think this of you?" He said looking serious for her.
"Yes..." she replied crestfallen.
"Can I give my opinion?" He asked which she nodded. "... I think there's no one who has done more for Rito than you."
She stares wide-eyed at him.
"You Lala brought light into his eyes... Something I had not seen or seen very little in him. Rito was a kid who did not seem very much alive. Of course I saw he was always hard-working when it comes to boxing but that's not the same. He entered silent at the gym or only talked to me and very little. Today, he talks to me normally and even talks to some other people at the gym... He smiles now... And I see some life in his eyes... If you do not trust me then think... How was Rito when you had just me him with the Rito of today."
She closes her eyes and begins to think. She remembers the beginning, never wanted to do anything, never talked... Never smiled and he looked like he did things out of obligation. Now she thought at times that she went along with him so far... When they had lunch together, in his smile when they played with Sakura when they all dined together... When noticed that she was in love for him… Then she saw in her mind his face smiling...
"And then what do you say?" Kaz asked. "Are they exactly the same?"
"No... He really changed." She said and raised her head a little.
"You are responsible for this. He would not be what he is today if it was not for you." He said. "I still see that he can have more life in his eyes... I do not know if you will be the one that will be responsible for this, but I want to see this happy boy. And so I ask you not to go... It may take a while to make everything normal again... But he will need all possible help. Are you going to help him?"
Lala really do not think she was that important like Kaz had said... but there was one thing that she wanted... She wanted to help him… She then nods slowly deciding that she would not leave, it could take days, months, centuries but she wanted to help him... and be there for him.
"Thank you... Kazuhira." Lala said from bottle of her heart.
Kaz smiled.
"You know him for a long time, right?" She asked. "Could you tell me more about Rito? I would be very happy to know."
"Well, there is not much to tell but I would be happy to tell you if you want to hear."
She then smiled for the first time in the day.
The conversation lasted until late afternoon and perhaps could last up to a little later if the owner had not kicked them out.
"And now... Lala what will you do?" He asked.
"... I'll find Rito. I will apologize to him." Lala said confident. "And being next to him for what he needs... Even if he does not want."
"Good... I'm sure he will forgive you... but you cannot forcefully him to accept your apologies..." Kaz instructed. "Let him decide on his own. And so, he will begin to heal. Promise me you will stand by him, no matter what he says, understand?"
Lala agreed. "Yes I will always be with him no matter what happens and thank you for the conversation, it really helped me a lot."
"It's the least I can do for my student. Now it's better, you go before it gets too late." He said.
Lala says goodbye and goes. Finally the rain had stopped and a reddish sun appeared in the sky. Lala is felt much better, as a ton had disappeared from her back. But things were not a pretty yet and perhaps never would be. She was still afraid at the thought that Rito would never hear her apology and if he never forgive her. But she was determined, and nothing was going to stop her... but what she didn't expected was to face him just after she left the restaurant and have turned the corner.
"Lala?" Rito said surprise.
He was out of breath and sweaty. What she didn't, was that he has been looking for her almost two hours.
"Rito..." She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I did not want to hurt Mikan. I'm telling the true. If I could create a time machine and save her I would... I would do anything to save her... Just please believe… that… I'm sorry."
"Lala... I will not forgive you..." he said looking down.
Lala was disappointed and sad. But she knew there was this option... But as long as she had hope she would keep trying. At least he was not yelling at her, that was a good sign.
"I will not forgive you... Because there is nothing to be forgiven." He said making her look at him surprised. "You were not responsible for what happened, I know that you couldn't control your actions, I know you didn't want to do anything bad to her... The only person who is to blame… is me… I was not able to protect her. I should not have yelled at you."
"You do not have to feel guilty, Rito. It was not your fault." She said trying to console him.
'... Maybe... But it does not change the fact that I lost my sister.' He thought felling a pain in his chest. 'I do not know what will happen from now on... I lost one of the most important person in my life...'
Lala approaches him and holds his hand. "Rito... I just wanted to say... that you are not alone, I'll be there for anything you need. And you also have other people who care about you."
"Yeah..." he said feeling a little better. "Arigatou... Lala. Now if you'll excuse me... There's someone I have to say goodbye."
Lala quickly understood and asked if he wanted her to be with him, but he said that he prefer to go alone.
The night could not be more silent than it was in Mikan's room at the clinic. She was moved to a room with yellow walls; after entering the room, it could be seen in the right corner was the bed where her body rested, respiratory machines on the left side of the bed. The other side was the door leading to the bathroom. In the back of the room, it had a window. Generally you couldn't visit the clinic when the sky was already dark but sometimes you could. And that was the case of the boy who went into her room. He looked at the body rested and felt pain in his chest. But he had to be strong... He needed to say goodbye.
"Hi... Mikan…" He said approaching her.
He reached her and took her hand.
"I do not know exactly what to say at these times... Mikan... I'm sorry for what happened... I should have suffered the attack, not you... I could never say how much I was proud of you... That you were the person most dependent I know... You were simply the best sister I could ever ask. I will miss all the conversations we had, the discoveries we have made, the dreams we had, of so many laughs and moments we shared... I'll miss you my sister. I love you."
Some tears trickle down his eyes as he said the last goodbye. He gives a kiss on the forehead and walks away...

…
But something was holding him. He turns around and realizes that his hand was being held. He then looks at her and see her opening her eyes slowly. But there was something different, instead of the brown golden eyes there was blue sapphire eyes.
"Mikan?" He said he discredited.
She did not have time to answer because before that, he was already hugging her.
"Rito... You're crushing me." She said weakly.
"I do not care... I'll never let you go... ever again." He said while sobbing.
"Oh I see that she regained consciousness." Ryoko Mikado said who entered the room.
"You!?" He said finally releasing his sister.
He approaches the doctor, kneels and bows before her.
"You have eternal gratitude!" Rito spoke.
"I am flattered, but not everything is a dream." Ryoko said serious.
"What do you mean?" He asked worried.
Then Ryoko explained what she did.
Flashback:
Ryoko Mikado was feeling bad. She knew she could have done something before... She had in her clinic a remedy that would cut the effects of the flu, she could have done something... But she was having fun with the situation... she never imagined that that would going to happen. She probably would have her medical license canceled if she was not an interstellar doctor. And of course it did not improve when she told the girls what happened. They were devastated, Yui ran after the boy and Oshizu also wanted to go but the medical alien prevented.
"Oshizu-chan I'll need you for something else what I'll do." She said as she held Oshizu's arm.
They return to the operating room where the girl with brown hair was intubated.
'So that is his sister? She is so young..." Oshizu thought.
"Come on, Oshizu. help me push this stretcher to the floor below." Ryoko said pressing a button on the wall. The wall on the left lowers revealing a secret elevator.
"I did not know we had an elevator here." Oshizu said surprise.
"That's why is called secret elevator." Commented the doctor.
They entered into the elevator that fit the stretcher with Mikan, Oshizu, the respiratory machine and the doctor. They arrived in a floor which at first was all dark but when Ryoko clapped her hand the entire floor cleared. There were not many things on that floor unless several boxes, a closet and a silver healer chamber. But different from what Yami used, that one was rectangular with a control panel with several buttons, above the buttons and was a circular space where you could introduce things.
Mikan is placed in this tank and connected to a breathing apparatus and other wires, allowing them to check their vital signs of the patient outside the tank. Mikado presses a button on the keyboard that immerses Mikan in a green liquid.
"Where exactly are we?" Oshizu asked wondering what was going on.
"...This is my secret place." Revealed Ryoko. "There is a reason I live here... When you stand out in something you call attention... drawing attention to good people and bad people. I thought I would never need or would use things anymore... But I cannot leave things just as they are now. I have to try to save her."
Ryoko opens the silver closet where an ice smoke comes out of it. In the closet, there were several bottles with different sizes and fluids with different colors in them. Ryoko takes one with cylindrical shape with a blue liquid with. She fits the bottle in space on the panel, she began typing a lot of buttons until she clicks the enter button. The liquid in the bottle starts to descend and the liquid inside the tank turns blue.
"What did you do?" Oshizu said noticing the change in water color.
"Mikan cannot be saved because humans have certain limitation in their regeneration. But what if she isn't? If her DNA is changed and mixed with other alien species she wouldn't be a mere human anymore... Then she would have to a chance to recover from the trauma because her regeneration factor was increased... at least that's the theory."
" In Theory?" The girl with blue hair said.
"That's because I do not control what will be changed, I never tested in humans. I used a number of species and other beings which ate compatible with the human gene, and some of them have a greater regeneration factor… but that doesn't mean just it will be activated. Now that's all we can do for now."
"I see..."
Rito listened intently to the story surprised that everything was possible.
" Did you understand Yuuki-kun? Although she came back to life she is no longer blood related to you besides we don't know for sure what will change after the process. She probably will have physical and psycho-motor changes among other things like her healing factor. The only thing I can ensure that the memory and her personality won't change."
After hearing this, Rito look at Mikan who was worried about what her brother will think now that she was no longer the same… She started to think that he will no longer consider her as his sister. Rito then looks at the doctor.
"You do not need to worry about it, Mikado-sensei." He said calling everyone's attention. "Mikan can have a third eye, scales, blue eyes or even have a tail. She will continue to have a heart of gold and more important, being my dear sister that I admire so much."
With that said, the Mikan concerns was over. Ryoko saw the reunion of the two, relief but something bothered her. Mikan was alive, but despite the only physical changed seen at the first moment was that she now had blue eyes, she did not know what else could have changed physically or psychologically, whatever the case she would have to do many tests to know what exactly she was now. But it was not the time to bother them with this, for now let them enjoy the reunion.

jboy44: Yeah... Sorry if you were disappointed but Sheldon has a great and easily personality to describe… So… Yeah and also it fitted to my story.
Miknel-san: Hell YEAH! I love when Might Guy fights! And I really liked on writing that fight it was a shame I couldn't drag very long because it wasn't something I wanted to focus so much. To tell the truth it's been a long time since I wanted to use some Dragon Ball references. Sorry that I crossed the line but hey I hope you liked what I did here.
Guest(1): Huh... I don't what to say…
magic135: Yeah I hope you liked how Yui and Mea comforted him I really thought it was a touching moment. Since we don't have any backstory of Aya besides she was bullied during her childhood I wanted to develop her a little more… I don't how much more development she will have but I have some plans for her.
Nintendoes Gamer: Well... I hope that's what happen when someone we don't expect dies right? Thanks for the support by the way!
Guest(2): So each day was based in a character: Monday – Garfield/ Tuesday- Hiyama Akane/ Wednesday- Sheldon / Thursday – Might Guy / Friday – Onodera Kosaki / Saturday – Vegeta.
I think that's all sorry that it took so long for me to post after writing the last chapter I was exausted and I had some problem personal issues to deal with. But I'm okay now, so keep eye on this story and see you next time.
