Loki's POV, directed at his 'family'.

Again, this is an old one.

If you don't have anything to say then say nothing,

because the silence is sweeter; and if you don't have anywhere to run to then stay

and stand out in the rain, and wish for a breath of sunlight

to stay away, fade away like the raindrops and tears sliding down your face, and you're safe,

because they can't tell what you really feel when you hide behind yourself, and there's nothing

you need to say because there's nothing to excuse,

because this is the way things are supposed to be, you can't deny

that this is what you did to me: evil and villainy—I'm just the monster you made me.

You made me this way, there's nothing more to say, I've been damned from the start,

from the day you were too merciful to let an innocent monster die

and too heartless to tell him why

he was never anything more than a shadow,

and always lost, unloved and alone.
