Having lost their home, their family, and friends, Daryl and Beth are forced to set out on their own. The brutality of their world and their survival instincts will set them on a course to form a bond they never expected.

Beth's stupid-ass friends are determined to make her eighteenth birthday memorable. Their antics leave her stranded in the bad part of an unfamiliar town, currently patrolled by Officer Shane Walsh. Threatened by criminals and cops alike, she's forced to hunker-down with a group of roughs, including a certain ornery redneck. (No ZA AU Bethyl only mildly M)

She finds herself in a small Georgia town in the middle of nowhere and decides it's the perfect place to start over - especially when she gets a job at the town's diner and sees one of the regulars, sitting in his corner booth every night.

In the midst of the outbreak, some sparsely governed towns have taken matters into their own hands. Laws are set in. Women forced into marriages with men and used as breeding stock in order to repopulate the world. Daryl Dixon, a survivor, soon finds himself bonded to a young, former farm hand named Beth Greene against their wills. Entering a future that neither had ever expected.

Beth gets shot by Dawn at Grady Memorial but doesn't die, and she and Daryl get to have the story they deserved. (Fix-it fic for Coda, canon up until the ending.)

Daryl had done a lot of crazy shit before but letting her into his cell had been the craziest. Everything was just so dark, and he couldn't bring himself to say no to the warm light she brought into his life. Nothing was ever simple, though, especially in the apocalypse.

I was asked to write an Alternate Reality one-shot about Daryl and Beth's first kiss and first "I love you." After escaping from Grady Memorial Hospital, Daryl and Beth have been skirting their unaddressed feelings for each other as they settle into Alexandria Safe Zone.

While safe in the mortuary, Daryl becomes curious about what Beth has been writing in her journal. (One Shot)

Daryl never opened the mortuary door that night, and he and Beth discover that, despite the moments of fear and darkness, it is a lovely place to be.

Daryl continues to believe that Beth is alive somewhere and has taken measures to lead her home to him.
