Tony has been kidnapped and tortured by an unknown force. It is up to the Avengers to save him or get themselves kidnapped as well. Rated T for whump. No language or romance. Set after the Avengers but before Iron Man 3. (No PTSD, though) My first full story... may not be very good, but I hope you like it!

Tony was fine. Tony is fine. He's used to being kidnapped- it already happened seventeen times now- no, eighteen now. He was fine, he escaped and he could still think and- and maybe his arm still hurt and it wouldn't stop, maybe he kept feeling the knife in his arm and kept seeing his calm composed- 'Well, that wasn't very nice.' No, no- Tony Stark was fine. (Not really)

In the sixteen years of his life, Tony's never known who he is. He's never known anything other than foster homes, temporary guardians, and bad apartments when he reached the point of being over trying to rely on anyone else. A fateful encounter finally changes everything as the mysteries of his past come back to bite him and he finds himself suddenly in the care of the Avengers.

After Ultron's initial attack and escape from the Avengers Tony is plagued by feelings of guilt and goes after Ultron by himself. Missing scene in AOU, Lots of Tony angst and whump!

19 Year old Tony Stark is C.E.O of Stark industries and also the head fundamental advisor of the new Avengers Initiative. He's also completely in love with Captain America. He also may or may not have a horrific past that no one is supposed to know about... but when you're living in a tower with five superheroes and one mischievous frost giant, people tend to snoop around. Challenge: Sometimes, being Tony Stark really sucked. Having Asthma was part of it, you know...being allergic to Cold...and Cats...and Dust and Pollen...and Exercise- okay screw that. Having Asthma just sucked in general.

Tony was ten when he lost the ability to read after an accident involving a brain injury. He's managed to hide the disability from almost everyone for decades and he intends to keep it that way, but then the other Avengers move in and Tony realizes that inviting them was a very bad decision.

Slight swearing, Challenge: "I- I'm not that good with disorders…but chaos in your lab. The missed meetings and the odd irrelevant statements…Tony, do you have ADD?" "It doesn't mean that you're wrong. You aren't a freak because of an impairment, Tony"

Percy is struggling to find the antidote to the poison that seeps through his body. Will he get to it in time? Will it even cure him at all? Or will he die trying to get it? Let's find out shall we...- T for language and etc. Caution: Future Character Death and major Percy Whump.

Challenge; Tony didn't hate Bangladesh, he just liked knowing every possibility, ever variable about everything, every risk he was taking. Going to Bangladesh? That wasn't calculated. Nor was what he was going to do if they found him again..."Are you ready to accept death, Tony Stark?" Raza hummed, "I'm ready to accept the vision of your corpse on the ground."

Challenge: Tony Stark was witty and sharp. Iron Man was cocky and slightly intimidating, he had another face, and one that he didn't dare let the normal eye see. "You really want to play this game, General Ross? I'll tell you, as the Merchant of Death, I rarely lose."

Challenge fic: "What the hell?" "Shoot it!" "That's me! Hit that one!" "Have I ever said I hate Shapeshifters? No? Well I do." Tony snaps after a Shapeshifter shifts into a certain father...and hormones have a small thing to do with it.

Challenge: People often thought of Tony Stark as snarky, not caring, and rather rude...all the time. However, when someone brings up the word 'poison' and 'Palladium' it seems someone sparks interest in the Avenger's head...
