Hello out there! I figured that this place is here to say a bit about myself, so here we go! I'm a Canadian (and damn proud of it too!), and I'm trying my hand at writing some Harry Potter fanfiction. I'm an aspiring writer (but have the funny feeling that it won't get me very far), I play piano, and I occasionally draw.

Oh, what the hell, I'll throw in the good old stereotyped Canadian phrase: "eh!"

Just for reference, in Canada we do not live in igloos(they don't even do that up North!), freeze to death every winter (well...not quite), or drink maple syrup (it tastes better on pancakes).

My "How I Found FanFiction" Story: I actually found some of the very first Harry Potter fanfiction in about 2000 (when it was just beginning to pick up). However, I didn't quite get what it was so I bookmarked it as "interesting" but that computer died. One of the old Windows 95s...However, back in January 2005 I found fanfiction and began to realize its potential...and my obsession grew astronomically. So I am now a fanfiction addict and not at all ashamed to admit it :D

Alchemical Reactions (in Progress)

Summary: AU Left on the Dursleys' doorstep, Harry is kidnapped by Moody and taken to a better home. However, misfortune follows him wherever he goes and he is soon at an orphanage, ostracized and alone...that is, until he's adopted by Nicholas Flamel.

Update Info: (as of May 21, 2012)I am perfectly aware that I haven't updated this story in about 4 years now, and I'm sorry for that. There have been several real life issues that have cropped up since I began this story. On top of this, my writing has changed drastically since I first began writing it (four years is a long time). I'm tentatively working on a rewrite at the moment, but I can't promise anything. What I can promise is that it's not abandoned. At some point, whether it's a few months from now or a few years from now, I will post an entire rewrite of this story. I know that's not much, and I know a lot of people get really impatient, but that's just how things are right now. But this story was never abandoned in my mind, and so I'm still working on it--however long that takes. I guess all I can say is thanks for sticking with me for this long!
