I really enjoy beta-editing, but it gets me in trouble sometimes, because I REALLY edit. None of this "Great job, now post it, no changes needed" stuff. At the moment, I only officially beta for one story, The Short Straw on mediaminer.com.

I'm thinking about re-doing Someone My Age, but I probably will wait to do that, because I’m really busy with real life right now.

Inuyasha fics

Someone My Age: Shippo's Story: On Hold, but In Progress. I am working on it, and actually have a few more chapters written. However, these will not be released until I have finished writing the entire story. I have decided that, as soon as I finish writing the story, I will systematically re-release the entire story, one chapter every week on a certain day. Sorry if this disappoints any of you, but my mind has been made up. Don't worry though-I have an outline, and the fic WILL be finished . . . eventually.

Mismatched (working title): Never released or finished: on hold indefinitely. This one probably never will be finished. The plot's been done way too many times. However, for those of you who are familiar with Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni," the inspiration was from the scene where Don Giovanni (Don Juan) and his servant are trying to pull the wool over the eyes of Don Giovanni's ex-girlfriend so that Don Giovanni can woo his ex's servant. In the play, the exgirlfriend is the fool in Don Giovanni's plot. However, in my fic, it would be going both ways, kinda. Alright, let me just explain the plot, lol! I'm confusing myself.

Mirokuis a guy betrothed to some chick he doesn't even know. He wouldn't mind that normally, but all the news about her that he's gotten says that she's an insufferable bratty prude.

Sango is a girl betrothed to some guy she doesn't know. She's very put off by this, and is further disgusted when she hears through the grapevine that he's an incurable pervert. Sango is about to run off, but her maid-servant, Kagome, says that she ought to give him a chance, just to see if the rumors aren't true. Sango says that is Kagome is so keen to give her betrothed a chance, then Kagome can take her place. Kagome thinks that's a wonderful idea, and so they decide that when the guy arrives, Kagome will pretend to be Sango, and Sango will pretend to be her maidservant.

Basically, when Miroku and Inuyashafirst see Sango and Kagome, Mirokudecides that he likes the maidservant much better than his betrothed. So he convinces Inuyasha to take his place.

Andthere's the basic (ha! basic, riiiiight) premise of the story. I love the premise, but the fact is, I'll probably never get to writing it.

Children Without Mothers: Conceptual Miroku never knew his mother, and Inuyasha’s mother died a long time ago. Or did she? Secrets are revealed as both Miroku and Inuyasha dig deeper into their pasts.

Into the Wind Tunnel:ConceptualSomething/Someone precious gets sucked into Miroku’s wind tunnel. How will they get it out? Basic idea: Miroku is getting sucked into the wind tunnel, and Sango jumps into it also. They go through the deep abyss, fight demons, until they find a way out – love or something like that!

Thoroughly Modern Millie-Inuyasha Style! (working INCREDIBLY ROUGH title): ConceptualBasically, the plot of the musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie" with the Inuyasha Cast. Theconceptual castingis as follows:

A Baby Cries: Finished This is a one shot. There will be no more. However, I may write an extended version later. My first EVER finished fic. I'm so proud. So what if it was only 100 words!
This is not so much a fic as an exercise to get myself not to write a novel every time I try to write a one-shot. My real Lily-and-James-final-moments fic is Lullaby, which should be posted around late February/Early March '05

Lullaby: Finished: One shot. This fic is rather close to my heart. I wrote it in a half an hour on one lovely night, January 19, 2005. After that, it went through a month of revision, over 40 different drafts, a slew of beta-readerrs, anda particularly wonderful trio of Beta-Editors: La Reine Noire, Arcturas, and Amy.
I am particularly proud of this fic. It's much deeper than ones I have written in the past, with parellels and foreshadowing and all sorts of fun stuff. It's much darker as well, thoughI have noticed that I'm beginning to write darker stuff.
Be sure to try and find the part of the story that was (quite ironically) inspired by Toy Story.

Remus's Valentine: Finished, but not mine. This is a one shot written by my cousin, Arcturas. She wrote it before Valentine's Day, and I read it. I loved it, and convinced her to post it at about 11:30 PM on Valentines day. We went through all the steps of getting her an account, only to find that you can't post a fic until three days after you sign up. However, we wanted it to be posted on Valentine's Day. So, here it is. It will remain here for a full year, until the next Valentine's Day comes up. Then, I'll delete it here, and she'll post it on her account.
Oh, and here's the summary:
Remus had never enjoyed Valentine's Day very much. It was a holiday he was always left out of-always left himself out of, for obvious reasons.

Blackmail: A Story of True Friendship and False Love (working title): In ProgressThis is a James/Lily fic. Not your typical James/Lily fic though. I can't explain much more without giving away the plot, but you can get a lot from the working title. At the moment, this fic is well into the writing process. I amdone withchapters 1 and2, and have random scenes here and there done as well. This fic is shaping up to be VERY interesting, if slightly dark. It may not be posted on FF.net, because we're thinking of including pictures and mixed media as part of it (think The Shoebox Project, for those of you who know of it). Btw, if you're intrigued by the title and decide to use it as inspiration for your own fic, please tell me. I'd love to read it -D.

A Weasley World (working title): Conceptual. I only have the faintest idea about the plot of this fic. It is probably going to be a series of vignettes. It will probably start with Arthur and Molly as children, and go up to the time of the books. It is going to be a short fic-that much I do know!
