![]() Author has written 1 story for Twilight. Mini-Me (Bio) I've been known as "Pixie" since one of my high school friends found out about my obsession with Tinkerbell. I have since fallen out of love with the infamous little Disney character, but alas, the nickname has stuck. I've since learned to use it to my advantage, especially since I'm from (and married into) a family of giants. Everyone is at least five feet ten inches tall, my husband is six feet seven inches tall, and then there's me at a sturdy five feet five inches. I'm the pixie of the family! I've been a bookworm all my life, although there were a few years where it fell by the wayside a little as I explored the party scene. That is what college is for after all. I'm still morally opposed to growing up, but as I'm approaching my mid twenties, married, own a house and finally managed to obtain a BA in history, I guess I'm getting there. I'm a country girl at heart. That's what I get for growing up in a small town. I love music of any kind (from classical to country and everything in between). Currently I'm in love with Dierks Bentley, Jack's Mannequin and Idina Menzel. There will, however, always be a soft spot in my heart for Def Leppard. I can't help but crank up the volume when they're on the iPod. I will watch any movie once as long as it isn't straight up horror, it doesn't even have to be in English. I love watching all the bloody gory stuff with my husband. I guess that's what attracted me to my former Marine in the first place; he wasn't turned off by my love of bloody movies, strange music and muscle cars. Oh yeah, that's my other love, genuine American muscle cars. I grew up with the pride of General Motors slammed into my brain, and I would sell my soul for a mint condition '69 Camaro. Although my 1980 Jeep CJ-7 is a piece of my heart, I could probably part with that if it meant the Camaro of my dreams. Myself and the Fan Fiction World I've always liked writing, but it's a very private thing for me. I'm not sure how well I'm going to do with this whole publishing online where everyone can read thing. We'll see. My first fan fiction experience was with a friend in high school. (Awe, listen to me, it sounds like I'm reliving my first sexual encounter, how special! Hehe). We were both really into Dark Angel, that wicked cool sci-fi show on Fox with Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly, and we spent months concocting this beautiful collaborative fiction with Max and her X5 brothers and sisters at the core. I wonder whatever happened to that ... anyway, I digress. I also have terrible spelling and a bad habit of run on sentences. I'm sorry in advance, I'll try to edit everything (twice). My Story My girl Lynnlin and I just began a collaboration titled "A Twist of Fate," a multi POV ditty encompassing just a little of the craziness that bounces around our brains. It's the first fan fiction effort either of us have published, and we'd love some feedback! I'm also working on an entirely different piece that travels a far different direction. Look for it to be posted soon... |
