![]() Author has written 4 stories for Eyeshield 21, and Resident Evil. 'Lo everyone. I'm Squig. I haven't actually written fics before... Well, okay, I've written some but I haven't finished them and never posted them. Really, I just read fics. I like to write, but I'm a lazy little thing, so if you like my style and want me to write a story using your idea, I'll do it. Of course, no one is ever going to read my profile if I don't put up some fics, right? Riiiight. I'm debating on whether or not I should write a fic with one of my own characters in it. Whenever I write fics, I avoid using any of my own characters, for fear that I'll make some Mary Sue character that turns everyone away from the fic. Anyway, one of the characters I've created for an Eyshield 21 fic is Lily. I wrote a bio for her; I like to give my characters a lot of back story and make it seem like they're actually apart of the anime/manga. I guess everyone does that... shrugs So, if you like Lily, then tell me. It'll encourage me to post a fic with her in it. Name: Lily Trudell Age: 15 Hair: Shoulder length, blond Eyes: Green STATISTICS Position: ChoreographerJersey ½ (a jersey Hiruma had custom made for her. She hates being called short and he constantly teases her about it, though she’s taller than a few of the other players on the team. The half on her jersey is another crack about her height; when Hiruma gave it to her, he said, “I now christen you Half-Pint!”) 40 yard dash: 4.9 seconds (she’s faster than everyone else on the team, excluding Eyeshield 21 and Ishimaru, who she’s tied with for speed. This is a fact that she likes to rub in Hiruma’s face because she doesn’t play any sports, her ability is just natural, while Hiruma plays American football and “should be faster than a girl who just dances around,” at least according to her) Bench Press: 34 kg Height: 165 cm Weight: 49 kg Blood Type: O Birthday: June 18 1st Year Student (Grade 10) (or at least she would be if she went to school) BACKGROUND Lily was born in America and lived in Arizona with her parents. Her father was a running back in the NFL, but he was fired for substance abuse. Around the time that her father was fired, he began to beat Lily and her mother. When her father beat her mother, her mother would get angry and blame it on Lily and, in turn, beat Lily, so that Lily was receiving abuse from both her father and mother. When Lily was 12 her parents died in a car crash and she set about the business of becoming an emancipated minor. The courts were reluctant because she was so young, but she had already proved adept at being financially independent. They granted her the right to be an emancipated minor on her 13th birthday. But shortly after that, Lily was tackled during the shooting of a Gatorade commercial and knocked unconscious. She awoke six hours later to some bad news. All of the abuse she’d taken as a child had weakened her body. If her body sustained enough damage, she could fall into a coma or die. The doctor warned her that even tripping and falling on the street could be dangerous, and she definitely wasn’t allowed to do anything more with football. Angry that the one thing she had fun doing had been ripped away from her by her dead parents, she went to Japan, stowing away on a luxury cruise ship. She lived on the streets, wandering from city to city until she finally ended up in Amefuto City. She was 14. Lily picked up dancing, noticing that she seemed to have a natural talent for the art. She made a business out of choreographing dances for people, like high school cheerleaders and the like. It was here that the Deimon Devil Bats found Lily. Suzuna had wanted a professional routine and Lily had been recommended to her by a cheerleader from the Seibu Wild Gunmans. The whole team had been dragged along and Hiruma, for unknown reasons, requested that Lily come work for them permanently. Lily was against it at first, but after watching the Devil Bats practice, she realized that she missed American football; the heart that the Devil Bats had spurred her into joining them. PERSONALITY Lily is the “Devil’s Mistress” according to Suzuna. She appears to be very sweet and she actually can be a very nice person, but her past has made her sarcastic and, for lack of a better term, a bitch. She has an attitude to rival Hiruma’s and, while Mamori is one of the few people who will oppose Hiruma, Lily out-and-out goes to war with him. Hiruma uses firearms but Lily prefers knives and swords. Lily is never without a blade, and she can wield multiple daggers with inhuman accuracy. Lily is also good for coming up with ideas on how to defeat a team. Her experience from America is invaluable and, though she isn’t as smart as Hiruma, she’s just as clever as him and her street smarts give her wisdom that even Doburoku respects. Lily and Hiruma bicker (it can’t really be called arguing) so much that Yukimitsu comments that they “act like a married couple” and, indeed, Lily and Hiruma do seem to have feelings for each other. Whenever Hiruma plays a game, Lily is always fidgeting, nervously watching him. She has a great fear of the people she cares about getting hurt (quite ironic, seeing as how she is always throwing her knives around) because of what happened to her as a child. If Hiruma gets tackled, Lily fidgets even more so that she won’t run onto the field. The first time she saw Hiruma get tackled in a game, she ran out onto the field and started to viciously attack his opponent. A referee had to come in and stop her, as Hiruma was too busy enjoying the fight to be of any help. And vice versa, when Lily dances with the cheerleaders in a game, Hiruma seems to be spurred on to crush his opponents even more, presumably to stop them from looking at Lily, who is practically half naked. When asked about this behavior by Doburoku, Hiruma replied that if the opponent has time to look at their cheerleaders, then they shouldn’t be playing American football. Though, whenever Suzuna and sometimes Mamori go around in their cheerleading outfits, Hiruma doesn’t seem to be bothered at all. TECHNIQUES Devil Bat Dance – Lily has the ability to dance and attract the attention of the teams on the field, distracting them from the game. Obviously this can be useful when you’re trying to score a point or snatch the ball away from them. However, this can be slightly dangerous because there’s the possibility that the Devil Bats can get distracted as well.Devil Bat Puppeteer – Another ability that can be used when Lily is dancing. She can control the movements of one of the players, making them do everything she does. This only works with one person at a time, and Lily has to make eye contact with them before she control them. |
