I am the kind of girl who is not ashamed to play lightsabers with straws in restaurants. The kind who reaches for comic books instead of gossip mags and memorizes Shakespeare on slow afternoons. The kind whose favorite shows all stopped airing about twenty to forty years ago. The kind who discovers 30-60-90 triangles in her freckles and makes raps out of Robert Frost poems.

This is me, the nerdy one. I am here on this site to read and review the work of my fellow writers, and hopefully get some constructive criticism on my own. I don't have anything I consider worthy of posting yet, but in the meantime I intend to read like mad and write some (hopefully) helpful reviews.

Some things you should know about me: I am a crazy fan of superheroes, particularly Batman and the X-Men (Romy forever! =D). I also love sci-fi, particularly the original episodes of Star Trek, and old Disney movies. My favorite music is classic rock, the Beatles in particular, but I have been known to listen to literally anything. Some things I am NOT a fan of: Twilight, Justin Bieber, melted cheese, and slash. I mean, why?
