Hi! My name is Ayra. I'm 19 years old and just completed my Advance Level Exams... which were a pain in the backside btw. I'm still waiting for my results which will be released on December. So fingers crossed for some good results. I'm from Sri Lanka. I've got my parents, an elder sister, 2 elder brothers, a brother in law, 2 sisters in law, 3 demon nephew(i tried saying 'Christo' after one particular night, nothing happened, so I suspect them to be demons of some higher rank) and a wolf in sheeps clothing 2 year old niece. i love them no matter what though.

My favorite book is the Harry Potter series (actually wrote an essay about it in my final Literature paper)... i began reading the first book when i was 6 years old

My favorite movie is the Lord of the Rings series including the Hobbits series.

My favorite TV series is, you guessed it, Supernatural. I also like Merlin (wrote about it in the same essay as the HP one in my Lit. paper.)

I love love love Imagine Dragons, Niall Horan, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Camilla Cabello.

I also draw (occasionally) and write poems.

When I first began writing, when i was 13, my mother asked me what the use of it was? what could i achieve from it? would i get something in return? can i earn from it? if not what was the use? i was too young then, i didn't know why i wanted to write, i just did. But, gradually, as I wrote more and more and i gave it to my friends to read, i saw the looks on their faces. I realized why i wanted to write. it wasn't because i wanted something from it. it's because i wanted to give something to someone through it. In a world where being innocent and unaware of the cruelty in life is impossible, i wanted to give people somewhere they can escape to. For a short time everyday. A chance for everyone to remember what it was like to be innocent and unaware of the cruelty of life.
