Hey guys!

I've just turned thirteen this year, and I'm now in a new school. I'm still getting used to the workload, so you'll probably only see short stories during June and December.

I'm from Singapore, a little tropical island in South East Asia. You know, the little red dot.

My username is AugureyForest99. A play of my first name, relation to a child of Bellatrix and Voldemort, and due to a tingling I get in my fingers just before it rains. Forest pays homage to my Chinese name and surname, and 9 is my favourite number. Oh, and I'm Slytherin.

Please note: Reviews are appreciated, but if you don't, it's fine with me. I'm equally guilty of reading and not reviewing, and I don't want to be one of those authors that pressure for reviews. I'm happy just knowing that someone stopped and took the time to read my work. Reviews just make it better.

It's been quite long since I've written because I've been really busy. I started on fanfiction.net as a 10-year-old living in a fantasy world AU where my friends and I were Mary-Sues having adventures in Hogwarts. I have completed it for my personal enjoyment but have refrained from posting it due to the wishes of my fellow co-author. We stopped writing it as we grew apart and she eventually abandoned it while I continued it a few years later. My writing style has changed (I think) and I'm trying to test the limits right now. This is why I'm posting drabbles and one-shots: I'm experimenting. I learn something new with each story so please bear with me! (To those wonderful people who have suffered through the previous profile, you may have gotten a taste of my slightly more immature writing as a kid. Now, I'm trying to stylise my writing and get the story to flow better.)

I'm a child at heart (and also physically) and I have a slightly warped sense of humour. I am the excited, bipolar, depressed, sleepy, hyper, downright hysterical person that is strangely unique. I'm really passionate about my loves and hates, and I feel very strongly, so I am trying to encompass all this into my writing.

I'm only human, but I'm a whirlwind of emotions, a flurry of thought, an overwhelming of senses all bottled up and stuffed into one being, and I want to let this all burst free and share it with the world; to let it feel what I am feeling while laughing and crying and not knowing how I can even express what this feels like. I want to share the utter joy of being alive, the pressure that all comes crashing down, all the mix and jumble of feeling that forms into one being. One human. Me.
