Author has written 1 story for Evangelion.

I'm a 25-year-old college graduate with a bachelor's degree in English with a focus on creative writing.

But none of you probably care about that. I only have one story up at present, and it's an Evangelion fic named "Destiny's Power: Strength of the Heart."

While I initially started the fic when I was sixteen (enough said there I think), it has since matured far beyond that as I've grown. So, please, bare with me through the first few chapters, I promise you the writing does get better.

Either way, enjoy the fic, and always, please leave reviews.

They keep me going and give me food for thought.

--Ongoing Notes and Progress--

Chapter 22 is out, and I've lost a reader complete with a review about how my story is shit. Great. That sure makes me feel like continuing to write this. I mean, there's constructive criticism, and then there's just pointing out flaws and being a jerk about things. I know my story isn't perfect. I know it isn't traditional, and that it doesn't stay firmly rooted in the confines of the Eva Universe at all times. I've known that for months, and if anyone else would like to comment on the obvious and storm off ranting about how my story is a waste of their time, do me a favor and don't bother reviewing the story. Beating a dead horse gets it nowhere. Offering constructive criticism after the fact is always nice for future writings, but seeing where the story is going and then complaining when it isn't exactly how you'd write it time and time again is just irritating and an addition of more unneeded stress. Go write your own damn story if you hate mine so much.

Don't get me wrong. Constructive criticism is a good thing, and as an author I can take it. It's my job to take it, learn from it, and try to improve. However, there's no need to rage about the story being a waste of one's time, and apologize to the author for him wasting his time writing it. That stops being constructive and passes right on into being an insulting asshole. Was this person's ranting review needed? Hell no. They could have just as easily left, have never come back, even shaken their head and sighed, and been polite about it. Instead, they chose to insult me and my hard work. Is it going to be for everyone? Certainly not, but at least have the courtesy to respect that the author has poured a lot of heart and soul into the story, even if you don't care for it, and that should go for anyone who reviews any work on this site, not just my story.

sigh* That rant over with, some news for those that care. Chapter 23 likely won't be the final chapter. My guess right now is that Chapter 24 will likely hold that honor. Kind of a shame in a way. I'd really hoped that by the end I'd have 26 Chapters, just like the series had 26 episodes. But, with well over 200,000 words for my total, I'd say that 24 Chapters is a pretty nice way to end the story. I won't ever touch "Nobody Dies" but who the fuck can? That thing is huge. I started out writing this years ago with little to no real direction other than to play in the Eva Universe, but now, I'm finally starting to close the book on my own tale. A sense of accomplishment and finality are sinking in, and it makes me a little sad, but also happy that I'm nearing the end of this journey. I hope a few of you are still reading and enjoying out there. It's you that I write this for as well as myself.

Till next time.
