So, it's been a while since I've even touched fanfiction (when I say a while, I mean almost nearly half a year) and I have a/several very reasonable explanation(s) for that!

A) This thing, this distraction, this disease, latched onto me about five months ago. Some call it "a life." Pfffft. I call it a horrible excuse to be away from writing! :'(

Two. I've recently been (re)introduced to a number of TV shows. This includes Doctor Who, which I am very much obsessed with at the moment! I've only seen the new series and partially blame my reluctance to update my other fics because I've been so pre-occupied with DW! So sorry to any of my X-men/RoLo followers! But, really, start expecting to see a number of Doctor Who fics in the near future. I've been plagued with little sonic screwdriver-wielding plot bunnies since February. Heh.

iii: My bethstest fwiend Stacy (margret2u) has introduced me to the marvel that is Law & Order: SVU! I am so in love with this show, but I'm still a newbie! I've only watched the first year (with about twenty other episodes scattered through the other ten seasons) So I still have a lot to absorb! Other shows I have been hooked on: Rizzoli & Isles (LOVE!!), House, Bones, Covert Affairs, etc. =D

Aaaaaaaaaaaand, concludingly: Then there's high school. What a joy, innit? Family. Friends. Yada-yada-yada. Not that I don't LOVE all of those things, but y'know...more excuses. =P

Notes on a few of my stories:

Light Beyond Dark -- Okay, so I'm completely lost on this one. I'm sorry, I know I said that I would try to find the time to update more often, but that becomes pretty damn hard when my mind is drawing a complete blank. I just read over the last six chapters, and the ideas I had a few months ago (to finish it up) just...became non-existant. A pile of crap. The dust that collects in the back of one's mind. The plot outline I had about a year ago (wow, a year? creepy.) seemed utterly SILLY and I do NOT want to go with it. So, I ask for your help! If you have ANY wish or idea or plot bunny, whatever, just PM me!

The Revenge of the Fez -- *fanfare* My FIRST Doctor Who fic! Unlike LBD, I am completely in love with this! (yeah, yeah, I'm full of myself!) It's not as funny as I expected it to be, but I'm pleased. =D Thank you to all the wonderful reviewers who took the time to give me some much-needed feedback!

Everything else... -- To be honest, I'm afraid to even LOOK at my past fics. I'm too worried I'll be so embarrassed at my (horrific) childish writing that I'll quickly delete them from existance! So, yeah, haven't even peeked at anything other than LBD since '09! Be grateful that I haven't yet!

Anyways, as most of you may know by now, I've totally rewritten my profile. For those of you nut jobs who actually thought it wouldn’t be a waste of your time checking my bio out, again, I just thought my previous one was too long. It was blabbity and the copy-pastie thingies were really starting to bug me. I mean, come on, they’re everywhere now--taking over the darn internet, I tell you! So. There.
