A re-write of the confession scene from TLD, in which John confesses to Sherlock instead of Mary. :) J/S.

John finds Sherlock three years after he thought he'd buried him, scared and injured; broken to such an extent he can barely recognise those trying to help him. Battling against too many unanswered questions and his own feelings, John sets out to put him back together, but never stops to consider Sherlock's return may be part of a greater punishment in store for the both of them.

Sherlock likes to pretend to be adverse to garlic, mirrors, crosses etc. All in an effort to freak Anderson out. John catches on, and aids Sherlock. They make a bet on when Anderson will finally break and bring a wooden cross and mallet to work. Please don't sue me, I don't own Sherlock.

Young Sherlock Holmes is just minding his own business when two kidnappers come to take him away ... boy, have they just made a mistake! (6 chapters)

Sherlock steals evidence. Lestrade threatens to cut him off murder cases unless he gives it back. Faced with a severe blow to The Work, Sherlock grits his teeth and offers a compromise: he'll tell Lestrade why he stole each and every piece of evidence, and Lestrade can then decide if he gets to keep it. Johnlock. Humor/Romance/Fluff/Drama. Rated for swearing, and, er, romance.

What if John and Sherlock knew about RPF fan-fiction and used it as a way to communicate during the Hiatus? Because, who would believe a fan-fiction story of being TRUE?

John's first priorities upon walking into a situation were triage and threat assessment. It was only after those were taken care of that he allowed himself to consider why Sherlock was holding a gun on Mrs. Hudson's attacker with his left hand.

John can't sleep because his infant daughter can't sleep. Sherlock can't think because of all the crying. And Mary can't seem to calm the infant either. Sherlock's robotic response to the problem reveals something very human at his core. Fluffy one shot!

At Christmas at the Holmes's, John meets Victor Trevor, Sherlock's ex. This was meant to be comedic. Instead, it turned deep and difficult and dark. I think it works.

Sherlock has a new case. John is petrified. The Queen is amused.

Sherlock has never learned to swim.
