AU set in Seattle during Max's junior year of school. Max is suffering from abuse both at home and at school, and is seeking a way out. But when an old friend blasts back into her life, everything changes.

AU where Mark Jefferson isn't a murderer. Max returns to Arcadia Bay and quickly finds herself caught up in confusing relationships, both new and old.

Max chooses Chloe, and the two must come to terms with that decision. Meanwhile, sinister forces move to protect themselves.
