During a case, John, while being held hostage, is forced to swallow a poison. Once he dies, Sherlock's brain begins to deceive him and he is under the assumption that John's whole death was a dream. When he finds out it wasn't, things go south as Sherlock has to rip through a dream, within a dream, within a dream, to discover that he may already be too late.
