A direct Sequel to my fanfiction "Uncomfortable Truths," set several years after. Following the events of the previous story, Mei and Yuzu's life has been going well with Yuzu opening a restaurant and Mei continuing to work hard at running the academy and balancing their family life and the difficulties that come with raising their kids Hideki and Airi.

New girlfriend Sayori seems to have her own agenda with this plan. A mistake in the making, a misguided attempt to make up for years of being a loner, or something more supernatural? After weeks away on business, Yuzu returns home to find out that she and Mei have a visitor. After accidentally waking, their guest, what follows is a series of conversations that have Yuzu and Mei reliving some of their most difficult moments as a couple while keeping their new family grounded.

He was a shining beacon in their lives. Why would they want to ruin something so beautiful by fighting over him? A rewrite of Mahouka with some changes I would have preferred in the original story to make it more sensible to me. A greater focus on character's emotional interactions, hopefully somewhat realistic. Tatsuya is a bit OOC, but it's explained why.

#3 The events cover the time period between the MKnR light novel #16 Yotsuba Succession Chapter and the end of New Years vacation a week later. Tatsuya and Miyuki learn to become a couple, and Minami learns to deal with her uneasiness about them loving each other so much.
